Chapter 3

After  knocking the door several times , the old maid became very anxious, that why Master did not get up till now, while at the evening he had  asked himself that he should be raised by eight o'clock in the morning. The maid again knocked on the door again, but without finding any response, she walked towards the main gates of the mansion,her intention was to talk to the guard as he must had arrived .

"Aslam, listen to me!"The maid approached Aslam.

''Amma ?'' Aslam asked her, lifting his gun down from the shoulder.

''I Don't know, why the master isn't  opening the room ... ?''The maid queried him.

'What do you mean?

" I didn't understand, '' Aslam asked puzzled.

" I knocked on the door of his room several times, but no answer came either not even a single motion , while he slept by telling me at night that he should be waked till eight o'clock." The maid said while clarifying the matter.

' Maybe, sir is in deep sleep.' Aslam said.

" Hey ! As loudly as I have knocked the door, there is no question that the master can continue his sleep after that ?, the maid exclaimed.

The annoyance in her tone was clear.

'" Okay okay . I will come with you." while feeling maid's annoyance and both went towards Devendra's room.

Aslam knocked on the door of the room several times and shouted loudly, but without any response from inside questioned the maid "I guess something wrong? "

" Than what do we do now ?" The maid questioned Aslam's question instead of giving any answer.

"I think, I should try to see from the roshandan." Aslam offered her.

''Yes go quickly.'' The maid approved it.

Aslam leavered the gun with wall and tried too peep , he found Devendra's body lying on the floor . The blood was scattered all over . He came down swiftly and uttered  to the maid, "There is the dead body of master inside."

"What?" The maid screamed in a state of disbelief.

"Yes ... yes ... wait I go to the police right away." He said and left with his bicycle and after some time he brought some police officers with him after telling the situation to the police. The door was broken and the body of Devendra was found lower jaw completely separated and neck was completely slitted and was just holding by a shattered spine the police was stunned by the appearance of the body . After looking for some evidence the body was taken into custody by the police later on.

Aslam contacted the family members who were at the wedding about the horrible death, they reached the mansion immediately. It was revealed from the police investigation that Devendra Pratap was killed due to the attacks and clutches of some big predator, but the police and other people were amazed that how the predator entered even in the room, and then by which way escaped the way out because there was no such openings or passage in the room. The information of this incident was given to Mahendra pratap .When he came, he was shattered due to grief and sorrow of his son's death because of their old age, their grief tolerance was also low, so he got unconscious several times.  He hardly managed to control himself. Ajay also came back from London after receiving the news of his father's death.He grief-stricken fallen into tears . After the death of Devendra, the house remained despaired and mournful for many days. Then gradually their grief and sorrow decreased. After one month in the mansion, Mahendra pratap once again went back to his house and Ajay left for London. After the death of Devendra, all the responsibilities came upon Vijay Pratap. Mahendra told his son if he also feels any pressure or excessive load of work, then he should tell him right away ,so he will assist him with the work.
