Hated

As she was walking out of class, it seemed like the whole school was glaring at her except Adrien who was MIA. Marinette walked to the center of the mob confused and scared. "Uh... Hello?" "Don't hello us, you posted a picture of me with Stoneheart's face and called me Stone Face!" Ivan exclaimed angrily.

"You posted a picture of me as a cat and called me a scaredy-cat." Mylene whisper yelled. "You posted a comment that I was a slow as a turtle!" Kim yelled. The list went on and soon the whole school were talking over each other explaining what she had supposedly posted.

Then finally Marinette yelled. "STOP!" Then the whole crowd quiet down. "I didn't post those things. You've got to believe me!" "Why should we believe you?"Alix asked. "We thought you were nice, but really you're just another Chloe."Ivan said.

Then the crowd split up and went home for lunch, leaving Marinette all alone. Then she heard a speaker say, "Can Marinette Dupain-Cheng please come to the office? Can Marinette Dupain-Cheng please come to the office?" When Marinette went to the office, the principal said that she had posted something about all the teachers, himself, and the school.

Unfortunately she was suspended for a week. When she walked out of the office, Chloe was standing right on the stairs to the office. "Hello, Mari-trash." "What do you want? I'm having a bad day already." "I just wanted to tell you the truth." "What truth?" "That I posted those pictures." Chloe said while blowing at her newly painted nails.

"I know. I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M GETTING BUSTED FOR SOMETHING YOU DID!!" "Yes, isn't this great?" "I'm going to tell everyone that you posted those videos." "Why would they believe you? Besides if you do tell, I'll do something worse than post an embarrassing picture of you. Catch my drift?"

Then Marinette reluctantly nodded her head. Then Chloe patted her head. "Good." Then she sashayed off, leaving Marinette all alone, in more ways than one. Then she got down on her knees and cried.

The rain silently pattered down to ground while the school door closed, with Marinette coming out. Marinette sat on one of the steps near the school's hood taking out a lunch she had brought with her. Then Adrien came out the doors and saw Marinette in the same place she was yesterday with an umbrella.

Even through the peaceful sound of the rain, hecould hear her soft sniffle. Without hesitation he walked down the stairs to go sit by Marinette. When he looked at her face, it was tear-streaked, her eyes were bloodshot, and tears were rolling down her face.

"Marinette, what's wrong? Does it hurt to know your parents died?" Adrien asked. Then Marinette tried to collect herself. "I-It's not that, everyone in the school hates me because of something they think I did." She sniffed. "What?" "They think I posted embarrassing photos of them online, when it was really Chloe. I've lost all my friends including my best friend."

"I was wondering why Alya yelled at you." "Wait a minute, why are you sitting with me? Didn't you see a picture or comment I supposedly posted?" "No, but even if she did, I still would believe you. I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong and it's just another one of Chloe's pranks."

"Why would you believe me?" "Well, I've seen the way you act. I know that you wouldn't do those things. Plus you're a bit more believable than Chloe." Marinette chuckled to herself."But... you hardly know me." She said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear while looking at the ground.

"I would like to get to know you...to be...friends?" He said while holding out his hand to shake her hand that wasn't holding the umbrella. "This seems familiar..."She thought aloud. "It should, first day... remember, the umbrella closed over your head." "Oh yeah, now it's your turn."

As soon as she said that, Marinette's umbrella closed over Adrien's head. When he lifted it up, Marinette was laughing. Then he took the umbrella and closed it on Marinette's head. Then Adrien laughed, with Marinette looking up from the umbrella and laughed herself.

"Thank you."She said. "For what?" "For making me feel better." "Your welcome. I guess I'll see you tomorrow." "Actually next week." "Why?" "Well supposedly posting bad things about everyone doesn't go unnoticed. I'm suspended for a week."

"Bummer, well, see you next week...Mari. Can I call you that?" "S-S-sure, anytime." Then she walked away thinking, Maybe this day won't be so bad after all.

Marinette was so happy on her home that she kept on blabbering all the things she loved about Adrien. "He's cute, He's funny, He's cute, He's nice, He's cute, He's-." Then Tikki swiftly opened the satchel she was in and poked her head out."I get it you love Adrien."

"I can't believe he actually wants to get to know me and be my friend." When she got to the bakery there were police cars surrounding the bakery. She walked up to one of the police officers. "Sir, what is going on?" "I'm sorry, ma'am, but... your bakery has been robbed.
