Markets of Wanryu

Wanryu's morning markets, located in the middle of the city, were a hive of activity, noise, and excitement.

The adults busied themselves to prepare for the early wave of customers while the children attended school.

The delicious aromas of freshly baked bread, spices, and roasted coffee greeted visitors as they stepped into the tents.

The tiny alleyways leading up to the market were lined with colorful stalls, each showcasing its wares in an appealing and colorful manner.

They were immediately engulfed in a world of sensory overload as they entered the market.

Vendors screamed out their pricing and offers, engaging in pleasant and competitive bartering with customers.

The perfume of exotic fruits, vegetables, and herbs filled the air, as did the sound of live music and street entertainers.

The kiosks itself were brimming with things ranging from fresh food and meats to homemade crafts and souvenirs. Furthermore, the sellers were pleasant and eager to share their tales and customs, frequently offering samples and tastings of their items to market goers.

With a quick swipe from a fruit vendor's tray, Amelia stuffed the piece of red melon into her mouth with an excited look.

Following that, Amelia felt herself losing consciousness as the piece of red melon melted on her tongue, its juices leaving a sticky yet sweet aftertaste in the girl's mouth.

"Mmmmmm! Delicious!" Amelia praised the vendor afterwards and proceeded to buy up all of the red melon the vendor had on hand.

The vendor felt happy that he could meet such a nice girl that he gifted Amelia a golden melon while she was packing up her red melons into her storage ring.

Surprised by the kind gesture, Amelia thanked the vendor before she scurried off to god knows where.

Minutes later, Blake, Zack and Willford reached the fruit stall Amelia was at previously.

Willford bent down to catch his breath while Zack and the fruit seller struck up a conversation.

Blake on the other hand, released his spiritual sense to scan his surroundings.

It didn't take long before Blake picked up on Amelia's scent.

Retrieving his spiritual sense back, Blake turned around to face his friends and said, "Have you two rested enough yet? I have found Amelia's trail. We are going to chase after her once you guys say you're ready."

"I'm…One moment, Blake….I…I'm too tired…Freaking hell, I should've just waited patiently at the dad zone." Face full of sweat, Willford gasped for air loudly.

Blake nodded at Willford, before he turned to look at Zack. "What about you?"

"I'm ready to go." Zack gave Blake a thumbs up in return. He was feeling motivated since his girlfriend's insatiable shopping addiction was giving him quite the workout today.

With another nod, Blake wrapped Willford in magical energy before he strapped his friend to his back. He then casted several body enhancement magic on Zack to help him catch up to Amelia.

With that, Blake, Willford and Zack left the fruit stall and continued their quest to find Amelia within the vast markets of Wanryu.

Several hours later…

The group of boys finally spotted their target in the far edges of the market they were in. It was already the 10th market they had visited today so they wanted to wrap this up as soon as possible.

Without wasting another second, the three boys unleashed their own cultivation auras before they each utilized their own movement arts to reach Amelia quickly.

Unbeknownst to them, Amelia had actually planned to leave the store as soon as she spotted her boyfriend from a distance away.

And so, being the troublemaker she was, Amelia unleashed her own cultivation before she flew off to another market within Wanryu. In truth, it was because she liked being paid attention to by her boyfriend that Amelia doesn't want the chase to stop.

Alas, she forgot to take Blake into account when she thought of running away.

With a simple wave of his hand, Blake covered the entire market in a transparent barrier that suppressed everyone's movement speed regardless of cultivation realms.

By the time Amelia realized she couldn't move her body, the group of boys had already caught up to her.

It didn't take long for Blake to silently cursed at the heavens the moment Zack and Amelia shared a kiss with each other upon meeting.

Seeing this, Blake sighed inwardly as he looked away from his abusers. 'Shitty couples and their shitty methods to show each other how much they love each other...I should get over this shitty feeling of jealousy by now…'

"Hey guys, now that you've found me. We can finally go home." Amelia smiled happily.

The boys, on the other hand, appeared relieved because it meant they could finally get some rest. For the past four hours, the three have been chasing after Amelia.

Zack and Willford were drenched in sweat, having emptied their martial qi reserves to keep up with Blake, who seemed unfazed by the entire chase.

As a result, Blake wasted no time in slicing a hole at the space in front of him that connected to the Void before shoving his three buddies into it.

He then followed after his friends after making sure the Void passage was stable enough to transport them long distances.

As for the a hole in space, the realm sewed the divided space back together by itself because the Void was an unidentified element within its ecosystem.
