"I have to go now, bye Dad, see you later" said Jean as she smiled and she gave Romanoff a kiss on the cheek.

"It was nice meeting you Natasha, we have to hang out sometime" said Jean as she hugged Natasha.

"Sure, just tell me when and where" said Natasha with a smile as Jean smiled and she walked away.

"You know it wouldn't kill you to smile only a little bit Romanoff" said Natasha as Romanoff just looked at her.

"I don't know what you mean devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as he drank his coffee.

"Jean loves you that's clear, you should at least try to reciprocate her love, don't be so cold towards her Romanoff, she's not your cadet she's your daughter" said Natasha.

"Well Jean didn't complain" said Romanoff.

"I know she didn't but try to lighten up, you look as if you are not happy to know that you have a daughter" said Natasha as Romanoff just looked at her.

"She has your nose you know" said Natasha as she laughed.

"I see that" replied Romanoff.

"So you called me over here to introduce me to your daughter?" asked Natasha.

"Is that not clear enough devochka (girl)" said Romanoff.

"Why?" asked Natasha as she did not get it.

"Well right now, you are the closest family to me" replied Romanoff.

"But we aren't even related" said Natasha.

"Related or not your mother was my sister, and well I would like Jean to get to know my side of the family" replied Romanoff as Natasha scoffed lightly, he made no sense right now.

"Devochka (girl), your husband's company, are you involved in it?" asked Romanoff as Natasha looked at him, she did not like the change of subject, especially when it moved to the company.

"Well a little bit yes" replied Natasha as she wanted to see where Romanoff was going with this.

"You know about the deals going on?" asked Romanoff.

"To some extent, I am more informed with the current deals" said Natasha.

"For example, there is a new deal with this cargo ship called the MSC… something, I forgot it, but no deals are going to be finalized for now, they will be next month" said Natasha as she drank her tea while watching Romanoff's expression closely, she wanted to lead him on, she knew what she would do to get him where she wanted him.

"I see" said Romanoff.

"Yes, but I have to go now, I have a meeting, see you later Uncle Romanoff" said Natasha in a sarcastic tone as she stood up and walked away as Romanoff dialed a number on his phone as his call was picked.

"Leave everything as it Is, the delay with the cargo ship won't be long" said Romanoff as he ended the call.

"Natasha, I have the files you asked for" said Chloe as she walked into Natasha's office.

"Thanks Chloe" said Natasha with a smile as she took the files from Chloe.

"You are welcome, and oh, I asked for an estimate of how much it would cost to get all the furniture and equipment and computers for the Lexington store" said Chloe as she sat down.

"Oh I actually forgot about that, I haven't been to the site in a while, how is everything going over there?" asked Natasha as she looked at Chloe.

"Well good actually, the walls have been painted, the floors have been tiled and all the insulation and everything has been installed, all we need now is the furniture, the shelves the tills before we can be fully operational, and after that we need the employee, but Mandy is already on that" said Chloe with a smile.

"We have made a lot of progress, unfortunately I can't make out time to go and see things for myself" said Natasha.

"Not to worry, I knew that you wouldn't so I asked for pictures of everything and I sent them to you, it should be in your email" said Chloe with a smile.

"Wow Chloe, you are really on top of everything" said Natasha as she laughed and Chloe laughed.

"Thank you, I love organising things" said Chloe with a smile.

"Gosh Chloe, you have everything sorted out, are you sure that I should just hand over everything to you?" asked Natasha as she laughed.

"Oh no, no" said Chloe as she laughed.

"Speaking of which, I need your authorization to send someone to represent our company, all agricultural firms were invited to this meeting that Is sort of like a check on our sustainability practices, it's tomorrow, and I haven't had time to ask you" said Chloe.

"Alright, who do you have in mind for us to send?" asked Natasha.

"Well Mandy can't go, she's in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly, and honestly, I don't know anyone else who I trust to know everything about our practices" said Chloe.

"I agree with you" said Natasha.

"The only person I trust is myself" said Chloe.

"But will you be able to go? I don't want to bother you" said Natasha.

"it won't be a bother at all, the meeting is going to hold in the neighbouring city, and it's for one day, I can go and come back quickly" said Chloe with a smile.

"Alright, if you say so, because I do not trust anyone else" said Natasha.

"is that a yes?" asked Chloe with a smile.

"It's a yes" replied Natasha as she smiled and Chloe laughed.

"Thank you" said Chloe.

"You are welcome, which reminds me, how is your online business course going?" asked Natasha with a smile.

"Oh it's wonderful Natasha, I never knew that studying again could be so fun" said Chloe as she laughed.

"I am glad that you are enjoying it" said Natasha with a smile.

"I really am, well let me go and prepare all the documents I need for my trip tomorrow" said Chloe as she stood up.

"Alright then, see you" said Natasha with a smile as Chloe smiled and she walked out of Natasha's office.

The next day.

"Ethan hurry up and finish your breakfast, don't play with that oatmeal" said Chloe as she wiped down the dining table and Ethan frowned as he pushed away his bowl of oatmeal.

"Ethan Sullivan Thompson, don't test me, don't test me this morning, if you don't eat it, you aren't eating anything else today" said Chloe with a stern look on her face as Ethan frowned even more, he knew that his mother wasn't joking, she was dead serious about not letting him eat anything else today.

"Look Ethan, just pretend it's pasta or something" said Chloe with a sigh as Ethan started to eat lazily.

"Morning honey" said Neil with a smile as he walked into the dining room and he gave Chloe a kiss on the cheek as he sat down at the dining table.

"Morning" said Chloe as she placed his food in front of him and he started to eat.

"Neil, I am leaving in a few minutes" said Chloe as she walked out of the dining room.

"Leaving to where?" asked Neil as he ate his eggs.

"I have a business meeting today, I told you about it yesterday" said Chloe.

"Oh…" said Neil.

"Yes I left food in the fridge, warm it up, I will be gone the whole day, I should be back tomorrow" said Chloe as she walked into the dining room.

"When it's lunchtime just warm the food, and the same for dinner" said Chloe.

"Oookay…?" said Neil as Ethan shook his head violently.

"Yes" said Chloe.

"Should I drop you at the airport?" asked Neil as Ethan shook his head even more, which left Neil puzzled.

"No, Natasha will drop me off, I know you have to go to work, I will see you tomorrow, call Betty if you need anything" said Chloe as she gave Neil a quick kiss.

"Be a good boy Ethan, I made you some desert, remember to finish your homework, and brush your teeth" said Chloe as she gave Ethan a kiss on the forehead and she rubbed his cheeks as he frowned.

"See you both, be good boys" said Chloe with a smile as she walked out the dining room and both of them heard the front door closing.

"No dad, you shouldn't have let her go" said Ethan.

"Ethan, you know that I can't stop her, your mother loves to work, I don't want to start an argument" said Neil.

"No!, you shouldn't have let her go, what if she leaves and decides not to come back? You have to get another wife I don't want that" said Ethan as Neil laughed.

"You have a vivid imagination Ethan, your mom is going nowhere, she will be back tomorrow" said Neil calmly.

"I am angry with you for letting her go" said Ethan as he carried his bowl of oatmeal angrily and walked out the dining room.

"Alright then, you know the rules though, finish that oatmeal" said Neil.

"When you calm down we you can come to the office with me" said Neil as he shook his head, he knew that Ethan would calm down soon.
