Jealous of you

"So…" said Charlie as he looked at Nine and Michael as they were walking.

"So what??" asked Michael as he turned to look at Charlie.

"So Nine…" said Charlie as he turned to look at Nine in particular.

"I saw Lia yesterday, she was leaving when I saw her, and she seemed to be in a rush" said Charlie.

"She told me that she came here to see you" said Charlie.

"She did??" asked Michael as he was surprised and he turned to look at Nine.

"Yes she did" said Charlie.

"So Nine, what did you two talk about??" asked Charlie as she stopped walking and he looked at Nine who also stopped walking.

"Yes… what did you two talk about??" asked Michael as he was curious as well, it was weird for them not to hang out in a group, and it was even weirder for Liam to personally and privately talk to Nine of all people, it was just too suspicious!!

"Nothing much" replied Nine as he knew that if he stayed quiet and said nothing at all these two friends of his would have continued to pester him all day till eternity.

"I am very sure that nothing much has a specific example" said Michael as he looked at Nine suspiciously.

"Yes… right?? Charlie is correct nothing much definitely has a specific example" said Charlie as he and Michael nodded at each other.

Nine sighed, these two friends of his were nosy, seriously nosy, they were acting like children and he was the big brother here, and he had to explain everything to them, which he would not do.

"Yes an example just as life in general" said Nine as he was using his words wisely.

"Oh don't give us that nonsense, be more specific what about life??" asked Charlie a he knew what Nine was trying to do, and it would not work at all.

"Tell me what else is there in life rather than life??" asked Nine as he looked a Charlie and Charlie frowned, Nine was unbelievable.

"You are so not serious" said Charlie as he was getting angry now, Nine was seriously being difficult for no reason, they were all friends with Lia, so he deserved to know as well.

"Okay chill, relax Charlie there is nothing to get so worked up about" said Michael as he did not want these two to end up fighting.

"Just admit that you are jealous" said Nine as he scoffed.

"No…no, there is nothing absolutely nothing that would make me jealous of you" said Charlie as he looked very proud.

"In fact, I just wonder why Lia would come to you of all people to talk to about her problems" said Charlie.

"You are so stiff and unresponsive, always cold, while I over here, handsome, cheerful, uplifting, and of course I am great company to keep" said Charlie as he listed all his so called awesome factors.

"Well maybe because she does not trust you" said Nine.

"You do have a big mouth after all" said Nine.

"Ouch Nine, that hit hard" said Michael as he laughed.

"You know what, I do not care at all, at least I can admit to my weaknesses" said Charlie.

"Unlike some people who believe that they are perfect" said Charlie as he eyed Nine.

"You know what, you are right, some people do believe that they are perfect" said Nine as he smiled coldly at Charlie.

"No wonder you don't have a girlfriend, with a look like that ladies would obviously run away from you" said Charlie as he laughed.

"Yeah yeah, alright that's enough break it off because it becomes a real fight" said Michael as he knew that this was more than enough.

"Charlie that's enough, come on Nine you know that he does not mean it at all, he was just in the moment" said Michael as he turned to look at Nine.

"No of course I did" said Charlie as he nodded his head.

"Whatever" said Nine as he walked away angrily.

"Oh he's really angry this time" said Michael as he watched Nine walk away.

"Ooof you are right" said Charlie as he hissed, this would be bad for him, because knowing Nine, he would remain in that foul mood for the rest of the day and that would be horrible, an angry Nine was equals to a bad day.

"You really went too far today Charlie" said Michael as he sighed.

"Don't look at me like that, I did absolutely nothing wrong" said Charlie as he looked at Michael.

"Mhmm of course you didn't" said Michael.

"You know what I am going to call Lia" said Charlie as he brought out his phone from his back pocket.

"No don't do that?? What are you going to call her for??" asked Michael.

"Well to ask her what she and Nine talked about of course" said Charlie.

"Don't do that, what good would that do??" asked Michael.

"Gosh you really are nosy Charlie" said Michael as he sighed and he grabbed Charlie's phone away from him.

"Hey! Give me back my phone Michael!!" said Charlie

"No, you are not getting this phone back today, not until this evening, when you have calmed down" said Michael as he put Charlie's phone in his back pocket.

"You are not my father" said Charlie as he was angry.

"And neither am I fazed at all" said Michael as he snickered at Charlie.

"Ha, jokes on you, you don't even know the password to unlock my phone" said Charlie as he scoffed.

"Oh you mean Charlesisthecoolest103??" asked Michael as he looked at Charlie with a raised eyebrow.

"How do you know??" asked Charlie as he was shocked.

"How do I not??" asked Michael.

"You talk in your sleep" said Michael as he laughed.

"Ugh" said Charlie as he was annoyed.

"I will change it to something you will never guess" said Charlie.

"You mean to Charlieisthehottest105??" asked Michael as he laughed.

"I am out of here" said Charlie as he was annoyed and he walked away while Michael just laughed, he knew Charlie too well.

"So how is everything going with choosing a school for Joy??" asked Chloe as she kept her eyes on the road.

"Well you were right and me and Joy's father are going to see the school tomorrow along with Joy" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oooh I told you so" said Chloe as she laughed and Natasha laughed too.

"So now not only would we be neighbours, friends, boss and employee" said Chloe.

"But we are now also school moms" said Chloe as she laughed.

"Doesn't that sound cool???School moms" said Chloe as she laughed.

"Well yes it does sound cool" said Natasha as she laughed, Chloe's definition of cool was really something else.

If you had told Natasha that she would be called a School mom five years ago, she would have ran away from you and called you crazy, but now that she had Joy, she realized that being a parent changed you and your priorities.

"We are here" said Natasha as Chloe parked in front of a not so old looking building.

"Alright then" said Chloe as she smiled and she and Natasha got out of car and Chloe locked her car as they walked into the building.

"Ahh Good Morning Madam" said Mandy as she quickly rushed to meet Natasha as soon as she saw her enter the building.

"Good Morning Mandy" said Natasha.

"Good Morning ma'am" said Mandy as she turned to greet Chloe who was standing right beside Natasha.

"Good Morning" said Chloe as she smiled at Mandy.

"Mandy this is Mrs. Chloe Thompson, Chloe this is Mandy" said Natasha as she introduced them to each other.

"Hello Mandy, nice to meet you" said Chloe as she smiled.

"Likewise" said Mandy as she showed a slight smile.

"So Mandy, Mrs. Thompson will resume as the new manager as soon as possible" said Natasha.

"What??" asked Mandy in shock.

"What was that??" asked Natasha.

"*Ahem*, I meant, but Madam, that is my job, I am the manager" said Mandy.

"Correction, you were the manager" said Natasha.

"But Madam!!" said Mandy as she could not believe what was going on right now.

"But nothing, your new job is to assist Mrs. Thompson and orientate her of her new duties as manager, you can either take it or leave it" said Natasha as she was as cold as ever.

"I will do as you say Madam" said Mandy as she did not want to loose her job.

"Great" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Well now that you two have met, let's get going to the farm" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Yes Madam" said Mandy as she nodded her head even though she was boiling inside, she was now reduced from a manager to an assistant?? What sort of nonsense was this??

Before Mandy walked away, she eyed Chloe in particular and her gaze made Chloe feel a bit uncomfortable.
