Felicitous Memories XXI

Natasha yawned as she opened her eyes, she was so tired this morning, but she had to get up and get ready for her day today.

Natasha got out of bed as she yawned once again and she walked to the bathroom to take her shower and get ready for today.

Natasha walked out of her room as she closed the door behind her and she walked down the stairs to make some breakfast.

Natasha walked into the kitchen as she walked straight to the fridge and she brought out some eggs among some other things as she placed them on the kitchen counter and she bought out the frying pan when she heard some footsteps which made her smile.

"Good Morning Dom" said Natasha as she knew that it was only him that could be on his way here.

"Good Morning Natasha" said Dom as his head popped into the kitchen as Natasha looked at him and she smiled.

"Happy Valentine's day to the third most important woman in my life" said Dom as he smiled and he walked into the kitchen as he handed Natasha a beautiful bouquet of pink roses as she smiled and she took them from him, she had actually forgotten that today was Valentine's day, how silly of her.

"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled and she looked at the pink roses when she suddenly remembered something that made her frown.

"Wait, third?" asked Natasha as she looked at Dom.

"Yes third" said Dom as he smiled and he nodded.

"The first is obviously my sweet, wonderful mother, the second is Lulu, because well you know how she is, and third is you, my lovely wife" said Dom as he explained and he smiled.

"Well when you put it that way, I can't argue with that" said Natasha as she laughed and Dom laughed.

"Thank you for the flowers, they are beautiful" said Natasha as she smiled.

"You are welcome" said Dom as he smiled.

"But wait, did you go out early this morning to buy these?" asked Natasha in surprise.

"Well no, of course not, I bought those yesterday, but I did go out this morning to buy you these chocolates" said Dom as he smiled and he handed Natasha a box of chocolates as she took them from him.

"Oh thank you Dom, you are the best" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I know that I am" said Dom as he laughed.

"But I didn't get anything for you though, I feel bad" said Natasha with a smile.

"No, don't be, you already got me something even better by being here with me, and for being my friend" said Dom as he smiled.

"So these flowers are for friendship?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"What do you think?" asked Dom as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.

"Wait, are you going out?" asked Natasha as she noticed that Dom was dressed in his suit.

"Yes, I have a meeting with a client this morning" said Dom as he smiled.

"Aww, but I was just about to make breakfast for us" said Natasha as she smiled.

"You don't have to worry, it's a breakfast meeting, actually I'm running a bit late, I have to get going" said Dom as he looked at his watch.

"Alright Dom, thank you once again for the flowers, and have a good day" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I will be back by 5pm" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha nodded her head.

"Let's go out for dinner tonight, it will be fun" said Dom as he smiled.

"No, wait, I have an idea, why don't we have dinner at home?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"Like usual?" asked Liam as he laughed.

"No, it will be special this time, let me make dinner tonight, please?" asked Natasha as she smiled and Dom laughed.

"You look cute when you look like that" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha felt her heart beat faster, whenever he smiled at her, or laughed at her, or when he called her cute, she didn't think that she could stand it if he continued to do that.

Over the past month, as they had been spending more and more time together, living together, talking all the time together… Natasha could say that she had fallen so deeply in love with him, and she had tried so hard not to, but she couldn't she hide her feelings, and she was sure that she did a good job of hiding it since Dom did not seem to notice at all.

How could she not fall in love with him, when he was like this, so himself.

"But alright fine, we can have dinner at home okay" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha smiled.

"I have to go now, I will see you later" said Dom as he smiled and he gave Natasha a kiss on the forehead as she just nodded and he walked away as she heard the front door close.

"Oh Natasha, could you be any more obvious??" asked Natasha to herself as she sighed and she looked at the flowers as she smiled and she placed them on the kitchen counter as she quickly brought out her phone from her pocket and she dialed a number.

"Come on pick up, pick up" said Natasha as she waited for her call to be picked up and she was relieved when it finally was.

"Hello sweetie" came Lia's happy voice from the other side of the line.

"Hi Lia..." said Natasha as she smiled.

"Happy Valentine's day sweetie, I wish I had a Valentines" said Lia as Natasha laughed.

"Happy Valentine's day, if you really want one so much, you can ask Nine to be for Valentine for the day, he did it once so he can do it again" said Natasha as she laughed Lia.

"No, no, he's sweet, but I want a real valentines" said Lia as she laughed.

"Anyway enough about me, why did you call me sweetie?" asked Lia as she smiled.

"Lia… I am going to confess my feelings to Dom…" said Natasha as she bit her lip.

"Oh sweetie, Yayyyy, finally, I knew you wouldn't be able to hide them for long, it's really hard to" said Lia as she laughed.

"Oh and yes, I told you so sweetie" said Lia as Natasha laughed.

"You did" said Natasha.

"So when are you going to confess to him?" asked Lia with a smile.

"I'm thinking of tonight… over dinner…. I don't know" said Natasha.

"Oh tonight is wonderful, when better to confess your feelings than on Valentine's day itself" said Lia as she laughed.

"But I'm scared, what if he doesn't feel the same and I end up ruining everything" said Natasha as she sighed.

"You need to take a risk my sweetie, you can't keep hiding forever, if he says he doesn't feel the same, then so be it, Dom isn't the only man in the world" said Lia as she smiled.

"You are right Lia" said Natasha as she sighed.

"Wait sweetie, do you have classes today?" asked Lia.

"No, I'm home right now" said Natasha.

"Alright, I'm coming over right now" said Lia.

"Why?" asked Natasha in confusion.

"To come help you of course, we have to go to the mall, and get some things, and we are also going to the spar, because this is a very special occasion" said Lia excitedly.

"But why? It's only going to be dinner" said Natasha.

"Oh my dear, it's not only dinner, my best friend is going to confess that she loves her husband, no, no, this is special, we need to buy scented candles, and you need a new dress, this has to be different and special, come on its Valentine's day sweetie" said Lia.

"And yes we are still going to the spa, you need to relax and be calmed for what you are about to do" said Lia as Natasha laughed.

"Can I not say no?" asked Natasha.

"Not a chance, I just entered my car right now, and we are totally going to the mall and to the spa, you better get ready, I should be in your house in an hour tops" said Lia as Natasha shook her head and she laughed.

"Alright Lia, fine" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Yayyy, Dom will have no choice but to say yes to you" said Lia as she laughed.

"I hope so" said Natasha as she sighed.

"Thank you Lia, I don't know what I would do without you always being there for me" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oh what are friends for sweetie, I have to go now, I can't talk and drive, see you soon" said Lia as she smiled.

"Bye Lia" said Natasha as she smiled and Lia ended the call as Natasha sighed and she looked at the flowers and box of chocolates on the kitchen counter, she really hoped that confessing her feelings to Dom won't blow up in her face.

Besides, Lia was right, what better day to confess to someone that you love them, than on Valentine's day itself?

Natasha smiled to herself as she switched on the stove to make her eggs, to say that she was nervous for tonight would be nothing but an understatement, she wasn't sure about this at all, but a part of her wanted to take the risk and just go on with everything.

On a second thought, she was totally following Lia to the spa today, just to calm her nerves, she seriously needed to.
