Felicitous Memories II

"Dad, where are you?" asked Natasha as she removed her shoes and she held them in her hands as she walked into the house.

"Dad" said Natasha once again.

"In my office Tasha" came Larry's voice as Natasha walked to his office.

"Office?" asked Natasha to herself as she entered into Larry's office and she saw him sitting in his wheelchair as he was holding a document in his hand as he was reading it.

"Dad, didn't I say no working, it only gets you stressed" said Natasha as she frowned and she walked to Larry.

"My Tasha, how do you expect me not to work, I'm bored" said Larry as he pursed his lips.

"Dad, please don't work, the doctor said that you need to stay away from stress, things that make you stressed dad, please, it does no good to you" said Natasha as she looked very sad.

"My Tasha, don't look at me like that, I am not stressed at all, I am only doing some light reading of last years records, nothing much" said Larry as Natasha sighed.

"Fine Dad, fine, but if I see that you get worked up even a little bit, I am going to take away all your documents and hide them away" said Natasha as Larry laughed.

"Alright Tasha fine, we have a deal" said Larry as he laughed.

"Dad, I am not joking, I am as serious as day" said Natasha.

"I know Tasha, I know" said Larry as he laughed.

"Shoes?" asked Larry as he pointed to Natasha's shoes that she was holding in her left hand.

"Ahh well I stepped on mud on my way back home" said Natasha as she replied.

"Mud?" asked Larry as Natasha nodded.

"Didn't you take a taxi?" asked Larry.

"I did dad, but it broke down, and I decided to walk the rest of the way" said Natasha as she smiled.

"*Sigh*, I don't like you walking that far Tasha" said Larry as he sighed.

"Oh dad you worry too much, I am just fine with walking, it's exercise" said Natasha as she smiled.

"If only I still had my car, but it's still at the shop, it was damaged badly because of the accident" said Larry with a sigh.

"Oh dad, don't think like that, even if you had it, I won't be able to use it, I don't have a driver's license yet" said Natasha as she smiled and she walked out off Larry's office to put her shoes away as she put her bag on the couch and she walked back into Larry's office.

"When is your driver's license appointment anyway?" asked Larry as Natasha walked to tidy up his desk.

"Oh next month, on the 6th… or 7th… or 8th, I forgot" said Natasha as she laughed.

"You and your forgetfulness Tasha, should I be worried?" asked Larry as he laughed.

"No dad, not at all, don't be worried, I just have a lot of things on my mind right now… we have a new professor, everyone calls him the iron man, he's brutal with his grades, and I really have to pass his class" said Natasha as she sighed and she changed the position of the lamp on Larry's desk.

"Which class is It?" asked Larry.

"Business Admin, he's really thorough, which is good I guess, but I really need to study some more" said Natasha.

"You want us to study together or?" asked Larry.

"Oh dad, of course not my wonderful professor Father" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I will handle it dad, I will be okay, just the life of a business major student" said Natasha as she smiled and she wrapped her hands around her father's neck as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Are you sure Tasha?" asked Larry as he smiled.

"Of course dad, of course I am, don't worry, I will make you proud" said Natasha as she smiled.

"You always make me proud Tasha" said Larry as he smiled.

"Well I want to make you even more proud, prouder than you already are" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Alright my Tasha, just don't forget to relax as well" said Larry.

"I won't dad, I won't" said Natasha as she smiled and she glanced at the document that Larry was reading.

"Dad, those numbers don't look so good" said Natasha as she frowned.

"I know my dear, I haven't been able to go to the office and check what's going on over there" said Larry as he sighed.

"Not to worry dad, I have free time next Saturday, I can go to the office and check on things for you" said Natasha as she smiled.

"No Tasha, there is no need to, I've been thinking, and, you are busy being a student, I can't move around like I used to, so the company is suffering, maybe I should sell it" said Larry.

"What?? No dad, no, why would you think that? You and mom built that company from scratch, you can't just sell your legacy just like that" said Natasha as she shook her head and Larry looked at her.

"Darling, you have to understand" said Larry.

"Understand what? I've always wanted to help you out at the company, that's why I'm studying business after all, I want to be able to help out Dad" said Natasha.

"Tasha, don't get so worked up" said Larry.

"Alright, fine, I won't get worked up, as long as you promise me that you won't talk about this again" said Natasha.

"Deal Tasha, deal, we won't talk about this again" said Larry.

"Good, now I am going to get started on dinner, should I make pasta or rice?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"They are both the same to me" said Larry.

"Come on Dad, P or R??" asked Natasha as she smiled and Larry sighed and smiled.

"P" said Larry as he smiled.

"P it is" said Natasha as she laughed and Larry laughed as well as Natasha walked out of his office as he sighed, he was very tired.

Natasha sighed as she finished washing the dishes and she dried her hands with a cloth as she heard her phone beep on the counter and she picked It up.

"Oh, I totally forgot" said Natasha as she sighed and she texted back as she put her phone in her back pocket and she rushed up the stairs to her room.

Natasha rushed back down the stairs as she walked to the living room.

"Dad, I'm going over to Dom's, tonight is game night, and I totally forgot" said Natasha as she laughed.

"That's alright darling, have fun" said Larry as he smiled at Natasha, she needed to relax, she had been juggling school, and taking care of him, doing the cooking, cleaning everything, so she needed to not think about work for once.

"Dad, are you sure that you are going to be okay all alone? I don't want to leave you alone, how about you come with me? Come on Dad, it will be fun" said Natasha as she smiled.

"No darling, you can go, I will be fine here, I will watch the highlights of the game and go to bed" said Larry as he smiled.

"Are you sure?" asked Natasha.

"Yes Tasha, go on" said Larry as he smiled.

"Okay dad" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Goodnight, love you, and I will be back by 10" said Natasha as she smiled and she gave Larry a kiss on the cheek.

"You don't have to tell me when you will be back, you can stay out late, you are an adult" said Larry.

"I'll be back by 10 dad" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Make it 10:30 and we have a deal" said Larry.

"Oh come on Dad, other fathers would want their daughters to stay indoors" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Well you already stay indoors, so have fun, with no adult supervision" said Larry as he laughed.

"Fine Dad, 10:30, no later, and also Dad, we are responsible adults, of course we will do nothing dangerous" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Tasha, Tasha, my dear Tasha, I was once your age" said Larry as he laughed.

"Dad, I am going to pretend like I don't know what you are trying to insinuate, but you do know that Dom and the guys are responsible adults" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Of course darling of course" said Larry as he laughed.

"Bye dad" said Natasha as she shook her head and she walked out the front door as Larry laughed.

Natasha put on her coat as it was freezing outside, Natasha crossed the street as she walked down and opened the little gate as she walked around the back and she knocked on the door.

"Natasha finally, where have you been?" asked Charlie as he answered the door.

"Sorry Charlie, I forgot that tonight was game night, it slipped my mind" said Natasha as she laughed and she walked into the house as Charlie closed the door.

"We have been waiting for you, Nine thought that you weren't coming" said Charlie as Natasha removed her coat.

"I really did forget, till I saw Michael's text" said Natasha as she laughed and Charlie walked ahead of her into another room.

"Look who finally decides to show up" said Charlie as he walked to sit down on the couch next to Nine.

"Hey Natasha" said Dom and Michael as they smiled and Nine waved.

"Hey guys, I am so sorry, I forgot" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Oh you seem to be forgetting everything these days Natasha" said Charlie as he laughed and Natasha laughed.

"Oh I know, it's the life of a college student" said Charlie.

"I warned you Natasha, studying Is nothing but serious pain" said Charlie as Natasha sat down beside Dom.

"Oh please Charlie, don't say nonsense" said Michael as he scolded Charlie and Natasha laughed.

"Don't mind him Michael, I know he's anti learning" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Ouch Natasha, Ouch" said Charlie as Dom and Michael laughed.

"Anyway, what are we playing tonight?" asked Natasha.

"Jenga!" said Charlie excitedly.

"Jenga?" asked Natasha.

"Yes Jenga, oh this is going to be so fun" said Charlie as he laughed.
