Break your promises

"Oh my, I am so late, so late" said Natasha to herself as she drove, and she looked very worried and stressed.

"Are you serious, don't you have places to be as well??" asked Natasha to herself as peeped her horn in front of a lazy driver in front of her who seemed not to have anywhere in particular where he was going.

"*Sigh*" said Natasha as she sighed.

"But my mommy said that she was going to pick my up today Miss Lolly" said Joy as she looked up at Miss Lolly.

"Yes, I know, but maybe she's held up in traffic, everyone else is already gone" said Miss Lolly as she had been standing here for the past 30 minutes with Joy, waiting for her parents to pick her up, all the other children had already left, and Joy was the only one still here, and it would soon be time for the older children to go home as well.

"Alright I know, why don't we go and wait in the classroom, while I go give your mommy a call, how does that sound Joy hmm??" asked Miss Lolly as she smiled at Joy.

"Hmmm" said Joy as she seemed to be thinking.

"Okay" said Joy as she smiled.

"Alright, let's go" said Miss Lolly as she smiled at Joy as they were about to turn and walk back inside the school.

"Oh my baby, I am so sorry, I am so late" came Natasha's voice as she ran towards Joy and Miss Lolly.

"Mommy!!" said Joy as she turned back as her eyes shined as she let go of Miss Lolly's hand and she ran to hug her mother.

"Oh my baby, I am so sorry, so, so sorry" said Natasha as she carried Joy in her arms and she smiled.

"It's alright mommy" said Joy as she smiled as she looked at her mother.

"Oh Miss. Lolly, please forgive me, I am so late, I was held up at the mechanic" said Natasha as she smiled and she looked at Miss Lolly.

"Oh that is alright Mrs. White, I was just about to call you, I hope that everything is alright" said Miss Lolly as she smiled.

"Oh everything is alright, I was just involved in a minor accident, and I needed to get my car fixed" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oh what a shame, is everything all right now?" asked Miss Lolly as she smiled.

"Yes, thank you, everything is alright" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oh I am glad, so I have to take my leave now" said Miss Lolly as she smiled.

"Oh alright, thank you once again Miss Lolly" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Anytime" said Miss Lolly as she smiled.

"Goodbye Joy, see you tomorrow" said Miss Lolly as she looked at Joy and she smiled.

"Goodbye Miss Lolly" said Joy as she giggled and she waved at Miss Lolly, as Miss Lolly smiled once again as she turned back and she walked into the school.

"Oh my baby, are you upset with me for coming to pick you up late?" asked Natasha as she turned to look at Joy as they walked back to the parking lot as she carried her.

"No Mommy I am not upset" said Joy as she smiled.

"Because you promised to pick me up, and you and daddy never break your promises" said Joy as she giggled and she looked at her mother.

"Oh my baby, why are you so mature" said Natasha as she laughed, she did not expect Joy to say something like that, but it just felt so cute and heart warming that her baby had to much trust and love in her, it made her want to cry.

"I love you my baby" said Natasha as she smiled and she gave Joy a kiss on her left cheek.

"And I promise to never let you down or leave you at all" said Natasha as tears dropped from her eyes.

"Mommy don't cry" said Joy as she wiped away the tears from her mother's face.

"Mommy you always tell me not to cry, so don't cry mommy" said Joy as she smiled at Natasha with her clear brown doe eyes.

"Oh my baby, Yes I know I always say that you should not cry" said Natasha as she sniffed and she stopped crying.

"But even adults need to cry sometimes" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Is it because they are sad?" asked Joy.

"Well yes my baby, that can be It sometimes" said Natasha as she smiled.

"But anyway, let's get you home now, you must be very hungry, it's past your lunchtime now" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she giggled.

"Oh my baby, I love you" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I love you too mommy" said Joy as she smiled and she gave her mother a kiss on the cheek as Natasha smiled at her and she opened the door of her car and she put Joy in her car seat as she fastened the seatbelt as she smiled and she closed the door as she walked to the other side of her car and she got in and started her car as they drove away.

"Sir, you had a missed call from one Mr. Alexander Grayson" said the Secretary as she walked into Dom's office.

"Isn't he one of the new shareholders?" asked Dom as he looked up from his desk.

"Yes he is sir" said the Secretary as she shook her head.

"Well what does he want?" asked Dom as he sighed.

"He said that he wants to speak with you concerning some important matters, that have to do with his entrance into the company" said the secretary.

"Well if he wants to do so, I am sure that everything and anything that he would have concerns about has been listed on the contract agreement, and if he still insists, you can handle him, and answer all his questions, I seriously am not in the mood for answering unnecessary questions" said Dom as he massaged his temples.

"Alright Sir" said the Secretary as she nodded her head.

"And Sir, you also received a call from Miss. Lulu" said the secretary as she was the one in charge of answering all of Dom's calls as he was just in a very important meeting.

"I will call her later, I wonder what she wants" said Dom.

"She did not say Sir, but she said it was very serious" said the secretary.

"Whatever she wants can wait" said Dom as he sighed.

"Alright Sir" said the secretary as she nodded her head.

"Did my father inform you of if he plans to come to the company anytime soon?" asked Dom.

"Well no sir, he did not mention any thing of that sort at all" said the secretary as she shook her head.

"Alright then" said Dom.

"Please bring me all the files from the first Alpha transactions, I saw some numbers this morning that did not make sense at all" said Dom.

"Yes Sir, I will do so right away" said the Secretary as she nodded her head and she left Dom's office.

"What is it?" asked Dom as he rubbed the side of his head with his other hand as he picked up his ringing phone with the other.

"Dom, I am sorry to bother you, but there is just something we all don't understand" came Michael's voice from the other side of the line.

"What it is Michael, is something wrong?" asked Dom as he closed his eyes and he opened them back up again as he closed a window on his laptop screen.

"Something happened today, we all followed Natasha on her way to drop Joy off and school, and well… something very dangerous happened" said Michael.

"Not only dangerous, but unbelievable and alarming" came Charlie's voice from the background.

"What was that?" asked Dom.

"You know what Dom, this cannot be discussed over the phone, when are you coming home?" asked Michael as he sighed.

"Well I am not going out for lunch, so I will be home by 8pm latest" said Dom.

"Alright then, we will wait for you till then, but for now bye" said Michael as he ended the call and Dom was left surprised.

"What is just so important that even Michael is acting weird??" asked Dom to himself in concern.

"Sir, the files you asked for" said the Secretary as she walked into his office with a Grey file in her hand.

"Thank you" said Dom as he took the files that she placed on his table and she walked away.
