Always right

Natasha sighed as she closed the door behind her and she locked her door as she left the keys in the door hole as she sat down on her bed and she removed her shoes, which happened to be leather boots.

Natasha brought out her phone from her back pocket as she switched it on, she wanted to call her baby and talk to her, but it was way too early over there for her baby to be awake, oh how she missed her so much.

Believe her when she said that she was counting down the days till she would finally be able to return to her baby, but until then, she had to think of a way forward, just what was her plan here? She had gotten into this union, but what next.

Well one thing was sure, and that was that Natasha wanted to find the person who killed her father, because they did it on purpose, they could have warned him easily with letters, but no, they decided to kill him, and so she would kill them.

Natasha sighed, if only Romanoff had made this easier for her by just telling her the name of the person who killed her Father, of course she knew that he knew him well, and yet he was protecting him, refusing to tell her who he was.

In the midst of Natasha's thinking, her phone suddenly rang as she looked at the caller ID.

At first she was surprised by who was calling her, but then she realized that if he was calling her, it meant that he had finally calmed down.

Natasha decided to pick up the call, after all, she wanted to hear what he would say.

"Hello" said Natasha as she picked up the call and she put her phone to her ear.

"Hello" said Dom as his voice came from the other side of the line, he was actually surprised that she picked up, he had expected that she would even decline his call, after all, they did have a big argument last time.

"Is Joy awake?" asked Natasha as she just asked, she knew that her baby would not be awake yet, it was only 6am over there, it was too early for her to be awake.

"No, she's not…" said Dom as he did not know what else to say, he did not even know why he had called her in the first place, whenever they were on the phone like this, it was only silence, but Dom did not know if them being in the same place was worse than them talking over the phone.

"Okay" said Natasha as she waited… she did not know what she was waiting for… an apology maybe? But who was she trying to fool, of course Dom would never apologize to her, in his eyes he was always right.

Natasha just felt so upset right now, she did not know why she stayed on the call… she should have just hung up.

"Natasha are you still there?" asked Dom as he heard nothing at all, he thought that maybe the call had been disconnected.

"Yes I am" replied Natasha as she was about to hang up when what Dom's said stopped her.

"Natasha, I'm sorry" said Dom as he did not know why he was putting it off for so long, it was just easy, to say that he was sorry.

"For what?" asked Natasha as she feigned ignorance, of course she knew what he was apologizing for, but she just wanted to hear him say it, so she could be sure that he was apologizing for what she thought that he was apologizing for.

"For what I said earlier, when we had an argument" said Dom.

"Look Natasha, I didn't mean it that way" said Dom.

"I did not mean to say that you are irresponsible, at that time, I was just upset, and disappointed, but I should not have let things get to that point" said Dom as Natasha just stayed quiet.

"I know that you didn't mean to make Joy sad, because you are a very good mother, I am trying my best to understand you, I really am" said Dom.

"But I just don't know what you are up to" said Dom.

"And that's why you wanted Michael to track me right?" asked Natasha as she scoffed.

"Well yes, but I told him not to in the end, I don't want you to get any more upset with me than you already are" said Dom as Natasha scoffed, of course to typical of him, wanting to control everything, he always wanted to know what was going on, even if it was none of his business at all.

"Well you already succeeded in doing that" said Natasha as Dom sighed, he just could never please her, even when he was trying his very best to apologize.

"What do you expect me to think when you go running off to Russia to meet some fake Uncle that doesn't even exist?" asked Dom.

"Natasha, you and I both know that you don't have any Uncles or Aunts, your Mother was Russian, but that's about it, that is the only connection you have to Russia" said Dom.

"And who told you so? What makes you so sure, you don't know my family" said Natasha.

"Don't do this Natasha, please don't start" said Dom as he shook his head.

"No, I will start, because I have one statement for you, and that is for you to mind your own business, this is my business and not yours, and don't you dare bring up this sham of a marriage we have as a basis for you to know everything that is going on in my life, we are two separate people, we live our own lives, it's just like that" said Natasha.

Dom was quiet, did she just call their marriage a sham? Sure that may have been true, but he did not know why her calling it a sham affected him so much… maybe because it wasn't a sham in the beginning.

"You know what, I am sorry for bringing any of this up, you are right" said Dom.

"We both have our own lives, and I have no right to ask you what you are up to" said Dom.

"I just don't want to argue anymore, it's pointless, we are only going back and forth, and no where else" said Dom as he sighed.

"So, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I said that made you upset, once again it was not my intention at all" said Dom.

"You say that, and yet you keep on doing the same thing" said Natasha as she scoffed, she could not trust his words not at all, he said one thing, and then he went and did another thing.

"Well that won't be the case now, from now on, Natasha I will leave you alone" said Dom.

"I won't ask you any questions, I won't ask you anything" said Dom.

"All I want, is for us to stop this fighting, and at least try to live in peace, without fighting every single time we see each other" said Dom as he was just tired, tired of this whole thing.

"I can hold up my own side of the deal Mr. White, it all comes down to you" said Natasha as she had nothing at all, she would stay on her own lane, and he should stay on his, the only time that their lanes would dare cross, was when it came to their daughter Joy.

"I will keep my own side of the deal" said Dom.

"I just don't want us fighting like this… it will give Joy a bad view on things, if all she sees us do is argue with each other" said Dom as that was his main concern, he did not want Joy to be used to seeing them arguing, it was not good for her, not at all.

Natasha went quiet, he was right, she too did not want her baby to have a bad view of things such as this.

"Fine, we won't argue in front of her" said Natasha.

"Alright then, we won't" said Dom.

"So do we have a deal?" asked Dom.

"We have a deal Mr. White" said Natasha as Dom sighed internally, he hated it when she called him Mr. White.

"Alright then" said Dom.

"So how is Joy?" asked Natasha.

"She is doing fine… she does miss you, and she was talking about you last night" said Dom as Natasha could not help but smile.

"I miss her too" said Natasha as she smiled.

"When she's awake, call me… I want to talk to her" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I will" said Dom.

"Alright then" said Natasha as she ended the call, there was nothing else left for them to say, they had said it all, and they had also made an agreement.

Dom sighed as he looked at his phone, he had made a deal with her, so he had no other choice than to uphold his side of the deal, he would say nothing at all, he would just leave her be, and only hope that she did not go and get herself into a mess that she would not be able to come out from.
