Chapter 7

[Olivia pov]

When I heard Xavier say that a lot of things went through my head. But I obviously knew that I needed to just get the drink, get paid and leave the room. 'What can go wrong' I said in my head. I quickly got Lucas his drink and collected the whisky Xavier had ordered for himself. I walked to the VIP room and took a deep breath before entering the room.

I handed him his drink and before I left the room he started to talk.

"Are you dating Lucas?", he asked.

"No and why are you asking me and how do you his name?", I answered him.

"I was just curious, that and to answer your second question he's a rival that keeps on trying to shut me down all because I have a factory"

"Makes sense why he hates you. But he's a nice guy to me and I've known him since I was practically in diapers"

"You don't know how he actually is to other people and I'm just trying to warn you about him.", he said to me with an annoyed facial expression.

"Thanks but I got it covered", I told him.

I was about to leave the room until he grabbed me by the waist and turned me around. At least this time he didn't grab me by the wrist but this is a little too close for club safety precautions.

I tried to pry his hand off but for some reason he was being stubborn and if I reported him to Agatha she would just shrug me off.

"I need you to let me go Xavier", I said.

"I'm gonna need another drink and for you to listen to me princess. I get that you think he's nice and good for you but trust me he's a shit person"

"And you aren't?", I snarled back at him. "Unlike him I'm a better person. And plus I know that I can treat you like a queen while he's gonna treat you like a toy."

"Thanks for the advice but again I'll be okay. I can fight for myself and also your not supposed to touch me. It's against club rules and your also holding me tightly."

"I'll let you go but only if you let me drive you home and I will know if you leave the club. What time do you knock off of work? "

"What if I refuse?"

"Then I guess I'm not gonna let you go and I can stay here all night".

"Fine and I knock off at 2 am", I said. "Then I guess I'm waiting".

He let me go and I asked someone to go deal with Xavier's order because I know that I couldn't deal with his antics. I served a lot of people tonight and I got a large amount of tips. Xavier's friend got drunk and left early with a girl on the side. What's worse is that I knew her and she is really picky about who she goes with. No judgment. She's a nice person in the end of the day.

I talked to Lucus for a bit, but as we were talking he got a call from work and had to leave. I understood and he paid his bill and finally left.

1 a.m came really quickly and I explained to Amber why I'm not gonna come with her tonight. She just gave me a weird look and let it go. I changed into normal clothes and sent her all the information about this guy and I switched on my GPS. Safety measures must obviously be taken. I bearly know him. I went into the VIP room and told him we can leave. He was just on his phone maybe answering emails.

He exited the room and I followed behind him. We exited the club and walked to his car. He opened the door for me and I entered in. He finally got in and drove away and onto the main road.

"I live by at the the apartment unit at drango street so you know".

"Who said I'm taking you home?"

"You told me that you were going to take me home"

"No, I said and I quote, 'I'll let you go but only if you let me drive you home'. I never said who's home."

"Your an asshole. I can't believe I trusted you to drive me. Where are you gonna take me?"

"My place. I talked to Agatha about your plans for tomorrow and she agreed to let you have another off day".

"Why would you do that? I never asked you to do that for me".

"I did it because I wanna take you out tomorrow. All day. I'll pay for whatever you want".

"I can pay for myself and I don't even know you or trust you at this point".

"You'll get to know me on our date tomorrow and I know, it makes sense why you dont trust me. But I promise I will not do this to you anytime soon".

"Fine I'll go on a date with you but you better not do anything sexual with me or else I will call the cops on you".

"I promise you".

After a 20 minute car ride we finally arrived at his Place. His house was huge, beautiful and heavily secured. He lead me to a room and told me to rest up. He grabbed me by waist again and gave me a hug and said "goodnight" before leaving. I also said "goodnight". I finally closed the room door and took a quick shower. I took some clothes out of the wardrobe and wore it to bed. It smelt like him. I finally climbed into bed and the mattress was so soft. I texted Amber and told her where I was. She told me to be safe and keep in touch with her and call if things go south.

I finally slept after 20 minutes of being on my phone. I swear I felt the mattress move but I'm just gonna ignore it.
