"S-Sir, what if they really called the director?" A group of hospital staff, including Dr. Fredi at the front, accompanied by nurses and other staff members, moved through the hospital hallway, passing through the corridor.
"It's impossible; my father isn't even in City A," Dr. Fredi calmly dismissed the possibility that those who claimed to have contacted the director were genuine. When the nurse had asked them for payment, it was clear they were just trying to avoid paying the money.
Naturally, this wasn't the first time he had encountered such scammers acting high and mighty. Even if they possessed a small amount of wealth, they didn't hesitate to lie and exaggerate themselves like wannabe rich people.
