Chapter 3 Errand 1

While humming, I walked towards a flower shop. It is a famous Yamanaka Clan flower shop. I often came here to find some delivery jobs.

"Hello, oba-san!" I greeted a woman in her twenties with a little swollen belly. She had brown hair and eyes with hair tied in a bun.

"Hello, Yukio-chan~ how many times I have to tell you to call me 'Inki-san'?" Inki also replied with a tick mark on her head.

"As you wish oba-san. Anyway, do you have any job for me?" I asked with a smile and also used my charming skill.

She sighed and then spoke, "Yes. Take them to these to addresses. Make sure to give it women." She gave me a small box of hand garlands and a chit with names and addresses. She also paid me in advance so I don't have to come back for the payment. 300 Ryo was a pretty hefty amount considering you can eat food three times.

"Okay. Bye, oba-san! Take care of your health." I said smilingly and rushed from there.

"Bye…" Inki also waved her hand then thought, 'Why does it feel like sarcasm…?'

Luckily, I remember the streets so I could easily locate a residence. Strolling on an unknown land felt a little odd but I was feeling excited. I just talked to the mother of the soon-to-be waifu character Ino. Judging from her swollen belly, I knew that she was pregnant.

Come to think of it, I wonder if all of the Ino-Shika-Cho heads mate at the same time. The scent of the flowers was also very good.

Anyway, first comes the rest of Ino-Shika-Cho. Nara Clan's residence was also not very far from here so I first went there.

I knock on the door and a woman with black hair and eyes came. Her name is Yoshino Nara

"Bye-wait why do I feel kind of annoyed?" Yoshino muttered.

After happily humming, I came after Akimichi's residence.

"Oh hey, brat! Why are you here?" Said a fat woman watering plants.

She was so fast that I couldn't even tell if she was pregnant or not.

"Inki-san said to give this to you," I said and handed over her garland.

"Thanks." She was a woman of small words.

"Bye Rhino-san and don't eat flowers. It gives fragrance not to fill your endless appetite." I said waving my hand and then left hurriedly.

I felt a little earthquake but able to earn some points.

After that, I also pass by the Haruno household, a couple with weird haircuts but I didn't mind them since they would soon give birth to Yamch- I mean Sakura.

After walking for a while, I came to the most dangerous place for the old me, the Inuzuka Clan residence.

As a cat person, I don't hate dogs but I don't like them either.

Inuzuka Clan is always partnered with a dog that they call ninken.

However, the current me is different.

When I was near the gate, a Siberian husky came and growled but in just a couple of moments, I was able to tame him and was rubbing his belly.

"Good boy~"

"I didn't know that Kaito could be easily tamed by a stranger." I heard a voice and saw a little girl standing at the gate with crossed arms. Judging by her appearance, she must be the same age as me.

When husky heard that, he suddenly got up and started growling at me again.

"This is for your mother, little girl." I smiled and gave her garland.

"Who is a little girl?! I am Hana and I am the same age as you!" Hana retorted losing her cool.

"Haha, bye little girl. I will visit again to play with a husky but I don't mind talking to kittens~" I blink one eye, waved my hand, and left.

"Moe... I am not a little girl!" Hana said with a pout then thought, 'When did he grow balls?'

After strolling for a while and also collecting some money, I came to a famous Ichiraku Ramen Shop.

"Oh hey, Yukio!"

I heard a feminine voice and before I could even respond I was lifted and hugged by someone.

"Kya! You are as cute as ever. Please be my son!" Said a red hair woman. She was none other than Kushina Uzumaki.

She was the only one after Taji who cared for me if I remember correctly. She usually hugs me and sometimes even kisses my cheeks whenever she met and asks me to become her son but I was always refused her offer like a beta character. Though it could be call harassment, I don't mind neither I dare since she is infamous as red hair berserker.

"Please no. I don't want to be the third wheel in your family." I said still in her arms. She was not pregnant at that time since it has been only a few months since she married Minato.

"Wow~ I didn't expect you to be so charming and caring. Don't worry, even if we are apart from each other, just don't forget to rely on me." Kushina said putting me down.

The reason she was kind to me was that I was running errands as far as she remembered. From age of two, I was supporting myself like this so she had a little bit of sympathy with me.

Maybe because of the same nature of loneliness that we shared she was a little bit soft on me.

"Have you had lunch?"

"No. I was just about to have lunch."

"Great! It's my treat." She said then dragged me to the ramen shop. It was not my first time eating with her ramen since she always treats me to lunch whenever we meet.

We then sat on the benches and ordered ramen. She ordered pork belly ramen while I ordered fish ramen since I don't like to eat pork.

Ramen guy was also very similar to his anime counterfeit. Whether it was in my previous life or current I was always a big fan of ramen. I also eat ramen most of the time before reincarnation after running errands and earning some money.

Soon our meal was in front of us and before I could take the first sip, Kushina has already finished half the bowl. No wonder she is the mother of the protagonist.

I took the first bite and slowly started to eat.

"What?" I was confused since all of them were staring at me.

"Is something wrong with today's menu?" Teuchi asked. Even if you focus to find a hole in his eyes, you can't find anything. I wonder how he could see from those squinted eyes. I bet he was hiding a powerful doujutsu.

His daughter was also beside him with the same age as me, looking at me with angry eyes.

"It is just… okay I guess… Not too special…" It was not me but my God's tongue. When I eat breakfast in the morning, I wasn't concerned with taste but now if I focus his ramen was good but not up to my taste.

"Can Yukio-kun specify what it lacks?" As a prideful chef, he was very curious about what his recipe lacks.

"Brat! I knew you that you have changed." Kushina said while ready for the second round.

I calmly finished my bowl, put chopsticks down, elbows on the desk supporting my chin like a businessman, and spoke, "Let's talk about business."

Time to show my culinary skills.
