The Elf Known as Lucas
Once they had reached the safety of the Palace walls once again, Lucas removed the cloak from Eva's face. He was worried it would affect her breathing. She was still limp in his arms, but he could feel her steady breathing. It was the only thing keeping him from panicking at this point.
Sending her off with Leyla had been the right choice, he just wished that he could have also sent her with the potion as well. One of the Einhardt soldiers came up to him before he reached the entrance to the Palace.
"Go and summon Fiora here."
The soldier rushed away immediately. Across the yard Lucas saw the light blue of his noble insignia in a staging area. They must be evacuating those from the estate here. The King was being surprisingly helpful right now so Lucas decided he wouldn't hold the incident against him.
'Not all elves are good either. I must remember that this is true for humans as well.' His very human wife was the best example of that.
