Chapter 84 Back to the state

Rosary baggages was all packed for her to leave for the airport. She wear a simple casual outfit, a blue trouser and a white short top. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She didn't know why she later accept this but no matter what, she can't dump her dreams all because of a stranger she had a night with.

She haven't told Lilah about this, she chose to make this decision on her own since it consign her life. She never wants to bother anyone. It would be better if she stops living in the past and embrace the future. Yes, she had a night with a man she knows nothing about. But this her life, she needs to build up her courage and accept whatever comes her way.

Even though it means going back to the state to accept her dreams, she will! She sighed. Little Jack, Old April, Steve and the maids were waiting for her at the entrance.

She heaved a sign and said inwardly. Rosary, this is your life and not Mr X life. He never owned you and would never control you".

After her inward words of courage, she boldly walked down the stairs.

" Rosary, " little Jack called and ran to her. He embrace her tightly. This would be the first time, she's going to be apart for her brother. They've never be separated before and always been together. She really did not know how the boy was going to copied but Steve assured her, he would here with Jack.

" I'm going to miss you" he cried. His hands was clenched tight on her dress. "I'll miss you too" she whispered. Trying to hold back her tears. She didn't want to cry. If she do, that might make the little boy to cry more.

Jack had to understand, that one day, we never be always together. This is Rosary dream, and she had to have it. The little boy understand his sister but he was a little sad because he wouldn't been seeing her often. ...

"When are you coming back?" He asked,

Rosary tucked on his hair. Such a lovely brother she had. She smiled and said" I don't know yet but I'll surely get in touch with you. Besides, Steve will be here with you. I promise to buy you a lot of chocolate when I comes back. Okay?" She assured him.

"Alright" Jack sighed but wasn't planning to let go of her. He would not being seeing his sister for some days now. It better he hugged the life out of her before she leaves.

Old April who seen the siblings love and affection to each other. He weep. He was also going to miss her too.

Steve glanced at him. If this old man didn't stop crying he would make the little boy cried too. Gently he patted the shoulder of Old April.

"I think that's enough. You'll make the boy cry if he seems you crying" Steve whispered

Old April wipe his tears. " Okay, just that I'm going to miss her too" the Old man said. Steve roll his eyes. " She's just going for business not staying there forever" he scolds.

"But... still..she will be away for long time. Don't you think that's too long?"

Seriously, people like this, are hard to consoled. Steve gives up.

"Can we leave now!" He alarmed, making the siblings to loose their forever hug.

"Okay" Rosary answered, kiss Jack on his forehead and whispered slowly. " I'm leaving now. Don't trouble Old April and Steve or the maids. Okay?"

Jack nodded with watery eyes. Although he never wants to cry but he was going to miss his sister.

"Always be a good boy. Do your assignment and sleep in time. I love you"

"I love you too"

They hug for the last time before departing.

Her baggage was packed in the car by Steve and the help of the maids. After finish packing  the baggages. Rosary wave her hand to them before she scoop into the car and them drove off.

Little Jack cry at the scene of his sister going away. It just makes him remember the day Lilah left them in the airport. The maids and Old April tried theirs best to keep him slient which takes up to two hours before he finally accept his sister would comes back. She's has only gone for a business trip. ..

Down the highway, there slient in the car. As no one seem to speak to each other. Steve who felt a bit awkward. Said.

"Do you really need this?" He asked. But the girl only nods and never say a word. He doesn't understand why she suddenly change her mind. She's the one who never wants to go back to the state all because of the stranger she had a night with.

After he had scolds Adam for going behind his back to signed the contract with Mr Lim. He drove back home angrily, unbotton his shirt and scoop out of his car but was surprised to see Rosary sitting outside the house at the doorstep in the cold windy night.

"What is she doing outside instead to be in her room?" He said inwardly while the girl walks unhurriedly to him. Stops a few steps away from him. Stares into his black sparkly eyes and said boldly.

"I want to be in the deal, please"

Steve was speechless. He was even thinking how to convince her to accept the offer again. Didn't know he was going to meet the unexpectedly. What must have happened for Rosary to change her mind. Isn't she scared to go back to the state? Steve thought while glaring at the girl surprisedly. There was no signs of fear in her face as she seem as new person standing in front of him.

Since it her decision. He didn't have time to obliged but to agree with her. At least, it makes it easier for him. Mr Lim is a tycoon business man who no one can mess with. Signing a contract with the man felt like signing your soul to the devil. That man was more than unthinkable. He's always full of evil. Business men like Lim can do anything to get what them wants.

Since Rosary had agree to accept the deal. He had to prepare some bodyguards to keep an eye on her. Since no one knows who the hell is this Mr X.

What bother him was the change of her mind . She had never wants to go back to the state why did she later accept. That's was a puzzle for him since Rosary never bother to speak up about it.

The rest of the journey remains in slient. This is her life not that asshole called Mr X. She just can't keep hiding herself in the dark all because of a man who she had a night with. Going back to the state was for her dream and nothing more.

Besides, the company that pick her was a big company and a new chapter for her to start walking in the spotlight. This is her only chance to achieve the dream she had once long for. .....

She sighed, bite on her lips. bring out her phone and dialed Lilah phone number.

Steve notice her phone dipping. "Who are you calling?" He asked.

"Lilah. She needs to know I'm going back to the state" She reply and plugged the phone to her ear.

Steve sighed. This is going to be tough.
