Lily’s POV
After I got down at the bus station, I went to the supermarket to buy the ingredients for our dinner. I was waiting for a cab when I saw Vincent inside a café and talking to somebody inside. I pretended that I didn’t see him and continued to hail a cab.
“Maybe it’s just one of his clients,” I told myself.
Vincent was a wedding planner after our wedding, he asked for money from his parents, and he built a business. He’d had a passion for it since we arranged our marriage, so he talked to his family about his plan after the wedding.
Vincent’s parents were so generous and supportive of him. They were also thinking about the future of our family, especially our daughter Angela. So when Vincent asked for money to build his small business, there was no second thought. They immediately gave what Vincent had for.
