First Encounter

Huiyin had been discharged after spending two days at the hospital, she was giving a lot of drugs to get better.

But before she left, the doctor told her not to think that much about her husband death, as it could cause depression for her.

This early morning, she was the first to get up from bed, and after taking a look at Jun Feng photo, she said a prayer.

She was going to carry herself like how she used to be whenever she visited Beijing.

And now she would begin with her first chore.

It was like a routine for her to feed MeiYin's rabbits whenever she visited, but she wasn't sure if MeiYin still had one, but she was going to ask her.

She wore a short olive green colored trouser and a black shirt, then left the room.

She saw her mother and MeiYin at the kitchen, and instantly remembered how rude she had spoken to her the day she returned from America.

"Good morning mother" She greeted her calmly.

"Huiyin dear, how are you? how is your health?" Her mother asked her, she was glad that Huiyin was talking to her.

"I'm good" She answered, Huiyin didn't know what else to say to her mother, was she suppose to apologize? she decided to ask MeiYin about the rabbits.

"Do you still got rabbits MeiYin" She asked.

"I've sold them" MeiYin laughed. "I just got one left, and i think Jian Yu had it with him" She added.

Huiyin was crestfallen, she loved rabbits dearly, so sad that MeiYin had sold all the fifteen rabbits she had some months ago. But she was going to ask Jian Yu where the last rabbit was.

"So where is Jian Yu?" She asked. Huiyin was determined to feed the rabbit that morning.

"He went jogging with his father, they left some minutes ago" MeiYin told her, she hoped that Huiyin wouldn't ask anymore questions. She knew that Huiyin was used to speaking, the girl is really a talkative person. And would always disturb people whenever she gets better. However she was happy that Huiyin was getting better.

With disagreement written all over her face, Huiyin left the kitchen for her room. She was thinking if going out with MeiYin, so she could see around Beijing, since it's been months she last saw everywhere.

MeiYin and Huiyin were now both seated in the car, MeiYin was going to take her sister to see around the street and perhaps they would do a little shopping, MeiYin also planned to take Huiyin to her toy stall, she was going to re introduce Huiyin to all her sales girls.

"Ready Huiyin?" She asked happily.

"Yes, I am, but are we not suppose to go with Jian Yu? isn't he gonna feel sad if we didn't take him along?" Huiyin asked.

"Never mind Huiyin dear, he is going to spend a lot of time with his father, remember it's Saturday" Saying this, MeiYin started the car, and they drove out of the gate.

Huiyin took her camera along, to probably take photos of new places in the city.

"Look, it's our school" She pointed to a tall gigantic building.

"Yes, it's been renovated, a lot of places where been renovated here recently, and people wouldn't be able to recognize some part of the city" MeiYin explained to her.

"That's cool,so where is your toy shop?" Huiyin asked her sister, she was eager to get there.

"We would go there soon, but first I will take you for shopping" MeiYin replied.

Huiyin enjoyed staying with her elder sister, MeiYin would always make sure she gets whatever she wants. Even before she got married to her first husband.

Huiyin and her mother had been living with MeiYin in xiecheng ever since their father death.

So after her first marriage, Huiyin moved to DongCheng with her husband, but after his death, she returned to xiecheng. Till she met Jun Feng, and after their marriage she moved over to Florida with him. And ever since she never returned to China.

So Huiyin was still suppose to look at the entire street in wonder.

They arrived at the famous shopping center in the city. Huiyin didn't know what she should get herself. She had everything she needed.

Perhaps MeiYin would get her brand new clothes.

"We are here" They both got out of the car, and walked towards the stalls.

Huiyin saw a white colored car parked at the front of the shopping center, a young man came out of the car with a little girl, the girl held a lot of balloons in her right hand and a big beautiful doll in her left.

"Daddy, you will get the shoes here right?" She was asking.

Huiyin fell in love with this little girl, she guessed that the little girl might not be more than six years old. She was neatly dressed in a pair of white girlish trouser and red styled top. The girl also hung a beautiful little bag on her left shoulder.

Huiyin watched as the girl and her daddy went inside the shop.

She entered the shop with MeiYin and was surprised to see different stuffs to be sold.

There where different dresses and shoes, makeups where also available.

MeiYin left her side and was greeting peoples around the shop. Huiyin guessed that her sister had gotten a lot of friends.

"Hi there miss" She heard a little voice spoke from behind her. Huiyin looked down and saw the same little girl smiling warmly at her.

"Hello little girl, I love your doll" Huiyin smiled back.

"Thanks, her name is pinky" The girl beamed.

"That's a good name for a doll" Huiyin answered.

"Can I seat here? my daddy said get was going to pay for my new pair of slippers" She asked politely.

How could Huiyin say no to such a bubbly girl.

"Sure, seat. I'm actually waiting for my sister" She answered.

"Wow"

"So, I can see that you are holding balloons, is today your birthday? tell me what's your name" Huiyin smiled.

"Yesterday was my birthday and my name is_"

"Come on dear, let's go" Someone spoke from afar.

Huiyin looked up and their eyes met. Though the man was wearing a dark sunglasses, Huiyin could not see him that well.

"My father is here already, it was nice meeting you, I hope to see you again" The girl smiled warmly and ran to her father.

"Who was that?" MeiYin asked, she held a lot of shopping bags.

"I just met her" Huiyin answered and stood up.

Little did they know that it was their first encounter.
