A New Life As Ben 10

You know how it goes. Guy meets God and get some wishes, then goes to live his new life. There was no explanation or reason for it, God just wanted some entertainment and who is he to refuse? You dont look a gift horse in the mouth. What are waiting for? Go read it. -------------------------------------------------------- Small harem. Genderbent Kevin. System. (These may not be your thing) The system wont have that whole stupid punishment for failing a mission troupe. There will be consequences, but nothing major. (Check Auxiliary) I'm open to ideas, but I do these for my own enjoyment so I will do things my way for the most part. This is more of a side project to my main fanfic. I upload when I feel like it. Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Ben 10.

Ch 8 The Museum

While Max was having his nap, Ben and the other two were sitting at the table.

Gwen was meditating, while Ben was trying to help Keira increase her control of her abilities. Currently, she was holding on to the table and straining herself in an attempt to absorb it.

"I'm telling you, I can't do it." Keira said, as she pouted and looked at Ben in frustration.

"And I'm telling you, you can. I saw you do it yesterday and you didn't even mean to. Just stay calm and focus. It's okay to not get it right away, you just have to keep trying." He said to her, a gentle smile on his face.

With a groan, Keira let out a breath and closed her eyes. Seeing that she was fully concentrating, Ben started looking through his system for missions.

[Mission: It's magic, you know~ - Hex will attack the museum and try to steal a book. You should probably stop that.

Rewards - 5000SP and a magic cookie.

Failure - A magic man will haunt your dreams for a month.]

Seeing the rewards and punishment of the mission, Ben facepalmed, the sound of which startle Gwen and Keira, but they ignored it and continued training.

'What is wrong with this system...' He thought to himself and accepted the mission anyways. He then started meditating to take his mind off it.

...

After a few hours, afternoon came and Ben made lunch, just in time for Max waking up. They ate and then left the RV, first going sightseeing a little and finally arriving at witchcraft museum in the late afternoon.

When they got there, they joined a tour group and started looking around. Gwen made a 'great' impression by acting as a shadow to the guide, saying the exact same thing the guide said, at the same time they said it.

Ben and Keira were left staring at her blankly, thinking about how much of dork she could be.

While he went around, Ben was analysing all of the 'artifacts'. Most of them were either replicas or complete trash with no historical significance at all.

As the tour continued, they eventually came to an open space with a book in a display case. The Book of Archamada. This prompted Ben to converse with Gabriel.

'Gabriel, would it be possible to buy a replica of the Book of Archamada?' He thought and spoke to her.

'It is. You can chose between a fake or a genuine one. The fake holds no magical properties.' Without wasting a second, she replied to him.

'How much for the fake?' Staring at the Book of Archamada, he couldn't help desiring it.

'Just 100SP. Should I buy it for you?' She asked even when she knew the answer.

'Yes, please.' With that simply reply, the fake book was placed in his inventory and just in time too, because at that same moment the doors to the museum were blown shut.

Following the abrupt closing of the doors, everyone in the museum was lifted up off the ground and slammed into either a wall or the ceiling.

Ben knew what was about to happen, so he started scrolling through the Omnitrix and settled at XLR8. As he was doing that, a red smoke passed through the window and materialised into a man wearing a red-and-black-colored robe. He carries a wooden staff with a bird's head and a necklace with dozens of magical and mystical charms on it, also known as the Charms of Bezel, floated his way inside. This man was Hex.

Without looking at anyone, Hex chanted a spell and broke the display case, then made the Book of Archamada float up into his hand.

Ben used this opportunity and pressed down the dial of the Omnitrix, transforming into XLR8 in a flash of red. Hex took notice of this and waved his hand, causing everyone to begin falling.

Using his speed, Ben took a page out of the originals book and ran down the wall, over to a large banner and used it to catch everyone.

Without wasting a second, he then ran at Hex to attack him. Unfortunately, Hex was expecting something like that and already had attack spells ready.

From Hex's staff, a yellow bolt of electricity shot out and flew straight towards Ben. With his enhanced speed and reflexes, he easily avoided the bolt by sliding under it, then bashing his tail off the floor to get back to his feet and continue running.

Ben tried to get close to Hex, but was instantly blasted away by an unseen force. The only evidence that Hex had done something, was the faint glow of one of the charms around his neck.

Zigzagging around, Ben repeatedly avoided magical attacks from Hex, who was growing frustrated. The reason for his frustration was because Max and the girls were constantly throwing stuff at him, distracting him from Ben whenever he blocked or tried to retaliate.

Every time Hex's attention was drawn away, Ben tried to get close and attack, only to have to either fall back before being blasted or go and save the other three from the same fate.

"Stay still and die, you insufferable lizard." Hex shouted, as he shot multiple streams of fire at Ben. The fire encompassed Ben from every angle except one, which was clearly left there on purpose and was therefore a trap.

In response, Ben remained stationery and waited for the fire to get close to hitting him, then spontaneously spun on the spot, whipping the fire with his tail which had generated a strong wind pressure.

The wind from his tail dispersed the fire around him and allowed him to see Hex ready to attack him.

From his observations, Ben realised that Hex was having trouble splitting his focus, so he quickly came up with a plan.

Using the momentum from his tail swinging, Ben spun in the air and smashed it into the floor, breaking it on impact. He then used his tail again and whipped the loose fragments of the ground at Hex, causing them to further break into smaller fragments.

At the same moment he whipped the loose fragments, Ben started running and arrived behind Hex. Like this, he could attack from both sides.

Charging in, Ben matched the speed of projectiles he just launched and closed in on Hex.

Hex focused on the incoming fragments, as he shot the already prepared spell at them to destroy them, he then quickly turned around with flames coming form his staff and two of his charms glowing as he did.

Seeing this, Ben's eyes widened behind his visor. He wasn't sure which charm was which, but he could guess that one of them was the Luck charm, which would mess with his own luck in some way.

Deciding to forego his attack towards Hex himself, Ben's claw shot forward and hit one the none glowing charms, causing it to come loose as he was blasted with fire and sent flying back into a bookshelf.

With the loss of his charm, Hex fell from his hovering state, roughly hitting the ground.

Ben instantly used one of his Status Recoveries and got back up like nothing happened. Running to the charm that had just fallen and taking it.

"Let's see how you do when you can't fly." Ben said and ran straight at Hex.

"I don't need to fly to defeat you!" He shouted and pointed his staff at Ben, who was extremely close. Another yellow bolt shot out towards Ben, but he dodged by making a sharp right turn.

Dodging the bolt, Ben ran around Hex in a circle and created a blur. He then ran by Hex, through the circle and struck him in the arm, before re-entering the blur.

Hex tried to shoot spells into the blur, but even with the Luck charm, he would miss. Ben's luck winning out in the end.

Ben started attacking like this a multitude more times and sneakily began stealing the other charms, then the Book of Archamada, which was swiftly exchanged with the fake from his inventory and 'coincidentally' got burnt by the fire Hex was throwing around.

By the time he was done, Hex was looking like Yamcha after a Saibaman used self-destruct on him.

"This...isn't...over..." While on the ground in pain, Hex reached for his staff, only for it to dissappear from his sight.

"Yes, it is." Ben said, appearing in front of Hex and holding the staff, he smashed it into Hex's face and knocked him out.

[Sorcerer Hex has been defeated - 400xp has been gained]

[Mission Complete - 5000SP and Magic Cookie Received]

Ben looked at Hex for a moment and then towards Max.

"He is still alive, happy? If he returns, then it's not on me." Ben told him, letting him know that he wasn't happy about it and making Max sigh.

...

Ben waited around as XLR8, for the police to arrive and arrest Hex, before finally leaving.

But, the moment he stepped outside he was met with cameras and reporters. He groaned in annoyance and was about to run away, but one question caught his attention.

"How does it feel to be a real life superhero?" One of the reporters asked.

When he heard this, Ben spun around quickly and faced the reporter.

"Let me set one thing straight. I am NOT a hero! Heroes are idealistic fools that set themselves up for disaster. They want to save everyone, I do not. In all the chaos, I will do what I can and that's it. Now, goodbye." Ben stated firmly and then ran off before anyone could say anything.

Unfortunately, all his words did was create an uproar, where everyone was calling him a "True Hero"...

...

When Ben ran off, he simply went to RV and detransformed, before sitting down at the table with all his acquired loot spread across it.

Looking at it all, he set the Book of Archamada, the Charms of Bezel and the Book of Illusion Magic on the seat next to him, then picked up the staff and used his Analyse skill on it.

[The Staff of Age - A magical staff that enhances spells and reduces casting time.]

Seeing this, Ben didn't think he would use it all that often and so, he thought to just give it to Gwen. But then, he though to see how much he could sell it for in the systems shop.

Giving it a quick look, he found it was worth 400,000SP. He was sure if this was a good or bad price, so he asked Gabriel.

'Gabriel, is this price good or not? I have no reference.' Ben asked her, completely oblivious to the value the system grants things.

"Considering you can by a tank for 1000SP, that would be considered very good." She replied, and then continued to give him a better understanding. "Common items are free. Human weapons and vehicles can be anywhere between 1-10,000SP. Alien tech and magical items varies, but the more dangerous it is or can be, the more you can get for it."

(A/N: This how I decided to have it be. I did change the previous chapter to fit this.)

'Hmm...' After thinking about it for a moment, he decided to sell it to the system. Gwen never needed a staff in the series, so it wouldn't make a difference now. Besides, there is better stuff than this staff out there.

[400,000SP has been gained]

'Nice. Now then, what was that Magic Cookie about.' Bringing the cookie out of his inventory, he used [Analyse] on it.

[Magic Cookie - A delicious cookie that will restore itself every day. Increases Mana recovery.]

'... I don't even know what to think about this...' Deciding to just accept it, Ben returned the cookie to his inventory.

With that settled, Ben began waiting for the others to arrive, tapping his finger on the table as he did so. He began going through his memories of the show, refreshing himself on what was to come.

This lead him to the memory of Zs'Skayr. He was already well aware of the Ectonurite King being locked away inside the watch and was simply waiting for him to try and escape.

Zs'Skayr was the reason he hadn't even tried to unlock the master control of the Omnitrix. If he did unlock it, only to have his body taken from him, it would be real kick in the balls.

He started rapidly tapping the table, as he thought of a way to be rid of the stupid ghost.

'I wonder if I could use the system to purge him...' He thought to himself, without privatising his thoughts, so Gabriel heard and answered.

"While you could, you don't need to." She stated simply.

'What do you mean?' Ben asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"You simply don't have to worry about being possessed. One, the system wouldn't allow it. Two, you are half Anodite with full access to your heritage and can't be possessed so simply. And three, Zs'Skayr can't escape YOUR Omnitrix ever." As she listed out the reasons, Ben's mouth slowly began to widen to the the point you could fit an egg inside.

"Don't tell me you were worrying about this the entire time?" There was clear amusement and teasing in her voice. Like her words were daggers stabbing into his pride.

Ben dropped his head on to the table and cried crocodile tears.

'Why didn't you tell me sooner!?' He whined to her as she laughed at his misery.

"Fufufu. Sorry, but you never asked." She continued laughing at him, before adding. "You can even access Zs'Skayr's form if you try hard."

Hearing this, the life drained from his eyes, as he lay there, unresponsively waiting until the others return to the RV. Gabriel mercilessly laughing at him.

...

When Max and the girls got to the Rustbucket, only being away a few minutes or so, they found Ben wallowing about something.

"Ben? What's wrong?" Max asked his Grandson, who looked like he had received bad news. Ben sighed and lifted his head up.

"Nothing, I'm just hungry." He told him.

"Well then, let's go get something to eat. I've already made a reservation at a restaurant." Max said with a smile and made his way to the drivers seat.

Gwen and Keira sat down opposite of Ben, then Max started driving to the restaurant.

While they were waiting to arrive, Ben used Analyse on the charms and discovered which was which. Picking out all but the Luck charm, he looked at Gwen with a grin.

"Gwen~"Saying her name in sing-song manner, he got her attention, as she looked at him with confusion.

"What is it? And why did you say my name like that?" Gwen said and eyed him suspiciously.

Pretending to be hurt by her suspicious, Ben placed a hand on his chest.

"*Gasp* Wha-! Can't I be happy when talking to my cute cousin!?" He said to her, making her blush at being called "cute". Keira pouted at this however.

"S-shut up..." She muttered to him unconvincingly, making him chuckle.

"I'm just playing. I have some gifts for you." Telling her this, he raised his hand and revealed four of the Charms of Bazel between his fingers.

Gwen's eyes widened in surprise.

"Woah! Those are the charms that man had! But, weren't there five?" She asked him, as he passed her the charms, then picked up the books and the other charm.

"Yeah, there is the Charm of; Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Revival and then this one. Luck. Unfortunately, it is kind of dangerous for others, as it causes misfortune to them. So, I figure it is best not to use this one until you've learnt how to control your magic. Which is why I got these." He told her and placed the books on the table.

Gwen picked up the books and shouted in shock. "Did you take this from the museum!?"

"Yeah. I got the Illusion Magic one from the guy I beat up." He said nonchalantly.

Gwen's face suddenly became panicked, as she clutched the book and tried to hide it against her chest. "We're gonna be in so much trouble" She nervously said, as she looked side to side cautiously.

"*Chuckle* Calm down. Nobody will know. It was burnt as far as anyone else is concerned." He told her relaxedly.

"Wow. I didn't know you were so bad, Ben." Keira chimed in with amusement.

"Only sometimes." He winked at her, while she playfully stuck her tongue out.

Looking at Gwen, Ben saw that she was still nervous, so he stretched over the table and stroked her head. "Don't worry so much. I'll keep ahold of it and you can ask for it whenever. Okay?" He smiled at her, as she slowly calmed down and nodded.

"O-okay. If you say so. I'm going to start reading it." She told him and opened the book to start reading to the best of her ability, occasionally using her phone to help.

Ben stopped stroking her head and sat back. He looked at Keira, while she looked at him and they both chuckled at the little bookworm.

...

When they arrived at the restaurant, they went inside and got seated, then ordered crayfish. Once they had finished, they were left disappointed, thinking that Ben's cooking was better.

After paying the bill, they left and decided to take a short walk in the cool summer night. Finding themselves in street market.

Unfortunately, their nice stroll was disturbed when a woman shouted about her purse being stolen. When the group looked to the source of the disturbance, they saw three street thugs heading their way.

Max jumped in the way and told them to give up, but they didn't care and simply raised some pipes they had for weapons. One of thugs saw Gwen's charms, which she had already made into a necklace, and he tried to snatch them from her.

When he saw this, Ben's hand shot out and he grabbed the thugs wrist, and then his head. The thug barely had a chance to see a pair of murderous red eyes glaring into his soul, before he had his legs kicked out from under him and his head smashed into the pavement, being knocked out cold.

Ben let go of the thug and raised his body, his hand stiff in a clutching position and veins bulging creepily. He tilted his head back a bit and glared at the other two thug, using [Intimidation] and natural killing intent on them.

"Give up. Now." With a commanding tone that didn't give any leeway, Ben told the thugs and they obeyed. They dropped the purse and their weapons, as they fell to their knees in fear.

Seeing this, Ben walked over and pinched a point on their necks, causing them to pass out.

With the thugs down for the count, Ben stopped using [Intimidation] and relaxed his body, putting his hands in his pockets and stepping away from them.

"Well, let's go." Ben said and started walking away, not wanting to deal with gathering crowd. Max and the girls quickly went after him.

"Dude! That was awesome!" Keira ran over to him excitedly. "How did you do that!?"

"Do what?" He asked, not know which part she was referring to.

"Make them give up and then knock them out?" She asked him, with what seemed to be admiration.

"Pretty simple actually, with enough fear, the mind tends to shut down. Especially when it knows there is no other option. As for knocking them out, just pinch the right nerve and they'll go down easily." He told her with a small grin and ruffled her hair, causing her to pout at being treated like a child.

"Stop it! You're messing up my hair!" She pushed his hand away and started fixing her hair, while Ben laughed at her.

Backing away, he went behind Gwen and started stroking her hair instead.

"Fine, fine. I will just stick to stroking Gwen's head from now on." He started ruffling Gwens hair, only for her to also smack his hand away and glare at him.

"Now you've messed my hair up!" She said and started fixing her hair as well.

"Oh, I'm sorry~ I didn't realise" He said sarcastically, the grin on his face showing he was teasing her.

Ben then started walking ahead of the group, his hands on the back of his head casually.

Gwen and Keira shared a looked, and began sneaking up behind Ben like lions with a gazelle. When they were right behind him, they pounced at him, only to miss their prey and butt heads with each other. Ben having sensed them coming and dodging.

"Oww..." The two of them got up while rubbing their head, the mocking laughter of their prey tormenting them.

"Gonna have to try better than that." Ben said and continued walking.

The girls got up and glared at his back, before they looked at each other and nodded. Coming to a nonverbal understanding, they broke out into a sprint and charged at Ben.

Seeing this, Ben laughed and started running away.

"Get back here!" They shouted and chased after him, smiles on their faces as they did so.

Max was left behind, smiling happily at the sight of the kids acting their age.

"It's about time." He chuckled to himself, before beginning to jog after them.

...

When they got back to the rust bucket, both Gwen and Keira had collapse from exhaustion, while Ben was crouched in front of them.

"Wow. You guys are out.of.shape. You really ought to do some cardio." Ben mocked them, having not broken a sweat while running from them.

"How... are you... not tired..." Keira said, while trying to catch her breath.

"What can I say, I'm just that amazing." Hearing Ben stroke his own ego, the girls had a sudden burst of energy and pounced on him.

"Wha-!" Ben gasped out, as he was tackled to the ground by Gwen and Keira.

Ben looked up and saw their two pairs of gleaming eyes, making him nervously sweat.

"Uhh. We can talk about this, right?" He said, as he moved back bit by bit, only to be followed, until he felt the Rustbucket against his back and couldn't go anywhere else. He looked at them fearfully.

"Please don't..." Those were the last words he said, before his world went dark. "AAHHHHHH!!!"

...

When Max finally caught up with the young ones, he was tired and panting a bit.

"I'm really not that young anymore..." He said as he caught his breath and looked over to the Rustbucket, where he saw his Grandson pinned to the ground by the girls and getting tickled.

"..." Not knowing what to think, Max turned his head and ignored them, opting to go into the Rustbucket instead.

---

After Gwen and Keira had finished torturing Ben in a way that no amount of pain could compare, they left him and went to bed, while Ben remained.

After awhile, he got up from the ground and sat with his back against the RV, chuckling to himself.

"Acting like a kid isn't so bad." Thinking out loud to himself, he looked up at the sky and enjoyed the nights breeze.

"You should do it more often. It makes you more likeable." Gabriel voiced her opinion. "At least, I like it more when you're like that."

"*Gasp* Gabriel... I didn't think you were a shotacon!" He said with mockery.

"Shut up!" Despite her not having a physical body, Ben could almost hear her blushing.

Ben laughed at her embarrassment. 'I don't hear you denying it~'

"I'm not a shotacon! And if I were one, then you are a lolicon! Hmph!" She spoke with indignation, which made Ben seriously wonder if she was a shotacon.

'While I will say loli's are cute, that is all there is to it. Maybe you are a shotacon, but I won't judge.' Nodding his head understandingly, Ben pretended to be supportive, yet solemn. 'No matter what anybody else says, I will still love my dear sweet Gabriel, even if you become a criminal.'

Gabriel remained silent for a moment, making Ben think she had given up.

"... I take it back, I don't like you." But she answered eventually, sounding like a tsundere.

'Aww! Don't be like that, you know you love me really.' He continued to mess with her. 'After all, were in this together for life right? In sickness and in health, till death does us part. Isn't that romantic~'

"...S-shut up and go to sleep already." She sounded embarrassed, making Ben laugh as she seemingly cut the connection between them.

As he sat there laughing to himself, he also began thinking. 'I wonder if it would be possible to get her a real body somehow...?'

Suddenly, as if to answer him, he got a notification from his system.

[Select Here]

Out of curiosity, he did so.

[Secret Mission: Shh! It's a secret! - For Gabriel's sake, you should to get her a real body. P.S. Don't let her know. 😉

Reward - Something special.

Failure - You will end up feeling bad.

Hint - There is a free opportunity in the coming years.]

The moment he saw the contents of the mission, he accepted it without hesitation. He already had a good idea of what the hint was referring to, so he really only had one question on his mind.

'Since when does my system use emoji's...'

---

After the events of last night, Ben decided to meditate the entire night and increase his MP.

Like usual, he made breakfast for everyone. Unfortunately, just as he was about to sit down and eat, there was an explosion at a nearby construction site. Ben looked at the other, seeing them already eating and sighed. He transformed into XLR8 and ran to the scene, quickly saving everyone and returning to eat his breakfast.

After another amazing breakfast, Max got behind the wheel and started driving to their next destination.

Because the journey would probably take the whole day and now knowing that Zs'Skayr can't possess him, Ben started messing around with the Omnitrix. He wanted to see if he could unlock the master control by himself. Sort of a test for himself.

He started turning the dial left and right in a series of different sequences. After a while, the Omnitrix lit up and began blinking as it made a series of beeps.

Ben stared at it for a moment, before shrugging. He stood up incase he transformed and then pressed the dial down.

With a red flash, Ben had turned into a tiger-like humanoid with huge muscles. He has black fur, with a white muzzle, hand, stomach, chest, and feet. He also has crimson stripes on his head, shoulders, back, and legs. There is also a crimson mohawk on his head.

The only clothes he had, was a pair of spandex shorts.

Standing in place for a moment, he looked at his body, before grabbing his head and screaming with an angry, gravely voice.

"AW, COME ON! A GODDAMN APPOPLEXIAN!?" He let go of his head and looked at the Omnitrix, grabbing it and shouting at it. "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING OMNITRIX, BEING A RAGE FILL APPOPLEXIAN IS NOT GOOD FOR BEN'S ANGER ISSUES!! INFACT, BEING AN APPOPLEXIAN FILLS BEN WITH WRATH AND YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!!"

He then started pulling on the Omnitrix and tried to fight it, rolling on the floor and punching himself.

Gwen and Keira were staring at this spectacle, not know whether to laugh or be concerned, something Gabriel didn't have an issue deciding between. Max heard the ruckus and looked at what was happening through the rear view mirror, only to sigh when he saw his Grandson had turned into an Appoplexian and was fighting himself.

While he was rolling around and hitting himself, Ben managed to hit the Omnitrix and transformed back to his human self. He lay on the floor and lamented at the fact he would now have to be extra careful in controlling his anger.

'Damn you devil's luck!!!' He thought to himself and got to his feet.

Sitting down as if nothing happened, he started messing with the Omnitrix again. Meanwhile, the girls were sniggering at him, so he shot them a small glare, making them stop. Until he stopped looking at them, at which point they started sniggering again.

...

After a few hours of trying to make some progress and failing, Ben was officially bored.

Sighing to himself, he activated the Omnitrix and scrolled through his available transformations, until he arrived at Greymatter and then pressed the dial down.

Now as a Galvan, he used his increased intelligence and started twisting the dial on his back while grumbling to himself. "I need to find a way to get this thing in a better location... and smaller."

Through constant awkward shifting and annoyed ramblings, Ben eventually succeeded in getting a reaction from the Omnitrix.

'Well, here goes nothing.' Tapping the Omnitrix, he was turned back into a human. This didn't discourage him, as he was expecting it.

Taking a deep breath in anticipation, he thought of turning into Ghostfreak and with a flash of red light, that's what happened.

"... Hahaha! This is great!" With creepy laughter, he celebrated his success and thought to turn into a Sotoraggian or SixSix's species, then into a Limax, then a Sangheili and finally into his human self.

Gwen and Keira were confused seeing him turn into different aliens without even touching the Omnitrix.

"How are you doing that?" Gwen asked, as she tilted her head curiously.

"I unlocked a master control function of the Omnitrix." He said with a happy expression. "Now I can transform at will."

"That's awesome! Can you stay transformed all the time?" Keira asked.

"Don't know, but I probably can." He replied simply, but unsure if he actually unlocked that or not. "Anyways, how is both of your training going? Either of you having any luck?"

They both sighed in defeat at the question.

"Not really..." Gwen said, her shoulders slumping. "I can cast some of the illusion spells, but I can't actually control my Mana."

"I just can't do it..." Keira pouted in frustration and started muttering. "I don't see why I need to anyways. I can just absorb electricity instead."

"Because absorbing electricity is bad for you. But, if you can control your power enough, you can get rid of that weakness." Hearing this, she sighed and her head sunk.

Ben stretched over and petted their heads. "You'll both get it eventually, just keep trying. I'll help in whatever way I can." He smiled at them reassuringly. They blushed and nodded their heads shyly.

"How about we try now?" Ben asked them and they nodded. "Great. I'll start with Keira, because I can only give you advice."

Keira looked at him and wondered how he would help her.

"Okay, so first, put both your hands on the table and close your eyes." Keira followed his instructions. "Now, stay calm and just focus on the feeling of the wood."

She did as Ben said. She took a deep breath and then released it, calming her self.

"Good, now imagine that feeling slowly spreading up, on to your fingers, then your hand and up your arm. Picture your body turning into the same wood you are touching and try absorbing it." Ben instructed her calmly and watched as her fingers began turning to wood.

"You did it!" Gwen exclaimed excitedly, unfortunately breaking Keira's concentration in the process.

Keira opened her eyes in surprise and lost her focus, resulting in her fingers returning to normal. When she didn't see any change to you hands at all, so she pouted and glared at Gwen, who nervously laughed. "Hehe, sorry..."

"*Chuckles* Don't be upset Keira. You succeeded, so you just have to keep trying until it comes easily." Ben told her. Keira stopped glaring at Gwen, but continued pouting.

"Fine... But don't distract me again." She sent a small glare at Gwen, before closing her eyes again.

Now that Keira was on the right track, Ben could start helping Gwen. Smiling at Gwen, Ben held his hand out. "Well, we will be doing the same thing as last time. Just hold my hand."

Blushing, Gwen nodded and placed her hand in his, then closed her eyes. Ben closed his eyes as well and started flowing his Mana into her.

When Gwen felt the warmth of Ben's Mana inside her again, she felt happy and comfortable.

Ben lead his Mana through Gwens body and helped her quickly find her core. "Okay, now just try and make your Mana follow mine." Following that, he started moving his Mana through her 'Mana channels' and she made her own Mana follow it with difficulty.

And this was how the majority of the ride to their next destination was spent.
