Zurie, a weirdo!

Zurie smilled sheepishly, she hadn't heard anything they said, she was worried sick.

" I was saying that you should not hesitate to seek my help if you may be experiencing any struggle at all with your characters, ( zurie's heart skipped ) remember that the main focus should be on Tessa and Rian having a happy ever after ! " The woman dropped...

Zurie at some point thought the woman's voice echoed, increasing her fear.

She just nodded.

" Or are you having some kind of challenge already ? " The woman asked again.

" It couldn't have just been my imagination ! " Zurie thought within herself. She saw the woman's eyes change color again, this time it lasted longer. The eyes was enchanting. Zurie looked at Harley, wearing a very fearful and confusing look.

Harley looked at her with a fume. Harley couldn't understand why zurie was acting strange, she felt bad as she thought zurie was embarrassing her with her attitudes.

The woman coughed, zurie regained consciousness again

" Urhm of course not ! " everything is going really well and fine " zurie explained.

" Oh! Very nice to know. " The woman commended.

" Id take my leave now, since there seem not to be any challenge with you, I see my author is some kind of genius " Mrs Rose Meyer put out rising to take her leave

Zurie didn't find what she had said funny, zurie was suspicious of every of the woman's speech, however because she didn't know what else to say, she just smiled and rose to her feet as well.

" Thank you so much ma'am, it was indeed an honor to have you come visit us, I am one of your biggest fan, God knows how long I have been dieing to meet you ! " Harley expressed hoping on her feet, with so much glee.

Zurie was irritated, but managed to keep her facial expression under check.

" Thank you Mrs Rose Meyer " zurie appreciated, as Harley's excitement compelled her to do so.

" Do have a wonderful night rest. " the woman said and began to walk away.

Zurie and Harley followed after her till she was out of the house.

As soon as she was gone, the girls walked back into the room quietly. Zurie's mind continued to flash back to her experience with the woman's eyes, she wondered if Harley saw it too,

" It was glaring enough ! " Zurie thought

She turned to look at Harley, the girl was still very full of smiles and excitement

" The most intriguing part of Mrs Rose Meyer is her eyes, ( zurie started a conversation, wanting to make sure she wasn't going crazy ) quite scary ! " She dropped

" What about her eyes ? " Harley asked, obviously not being able to relate with what zurie was talking about.

" Wait you didn't see the flickers of red light sparkle from her eyes ? " Zurie asked

" Urhm no ! " Harley answered giving zurie a puzzled look.

" So what was with the light anyways ? " Harley asked almost immediately

" I don't know, but it didn't have a good feeling, and it is even worse now that you said you didn't notice it. " Zurie explained briefly

" Zurie are you okay ? ( Harley asked looking at zurie with a squint, zurie nodded affirmatively ) you have been acting very strange lately, like very weird, I seem not to understand you sometimes, ( she wagged her pinky ) no almost all the time ! You were literally carried away and acting all weird while Mrs Rose Meyer was here, You acted weird when I picked up your book, is there something you're not telling me Zurie ? C'mon you know I'd always be here to listen " Harley asked, not mincing words

" what have I done wrong, I only asked a question ( zurie tried to defend ) I genuinely thought I saw her eyes change color, but not to worry I am fine, I am sure I just need to recover better " zurie replied smacking her head lightly. She immediately continued before Harley could say a word,

" Meanwhile, your best friend just payed your ticket to seeing one of the people you probably wouldn't have ever gotten an opportunity to meet ! " Zurie said faking an excitement

" You have no idea zurie ( Harley gasped ) I was most delighted. She looked so rich and generally expensive. Zurie I bet you, you had no detailed idea of who sat on your chair today. As a matter of fact ( Harley said standing to her feet, zurie watched with smiles ) each time I come visiting, remind me to always sit on this chair ( she sank into the cushion Mrs Rose Meyer had sat on ) I'd keep sitting here until I become like mrs Meyer. " Harley expressed humourously.

Zurie laughed, Harley joined in the laughter.

"But on a more serious note zurie, you have seriously put those behaviors under control, I bet you she noticed you were absent minded " Harley said again, remembering the subject matter that zurie the had successfully distracted her from.

Zurie's phone beeped. She picked it and fixed her gaze on the screen. She smiled as she read through.

" Who was that ? " Harley asked

" Urhm it was no one ! " Zurie spluttered keeping a straight face.

" Zurie ? We now tell lies to each other ? ( She asked not being able to hide her disappointment ) that was Terry right ? " Harley asked

" Look Harley I'm sorry, I didn't want to ditch on you ! " Zurie explained pouting

" But that's exactly what you're doing. " Harley replied not being able to hide her annoyance

" He texted me earlier that he was coming to get me by eight. He said he wanted us to grab hamburgers at the cafeteria down the road. I didn't know how you will feel, leaving you just here " zurie explained.

" Zurie ! ( Harley called with a suprised face ) It's fine I'm leaving " Harley said with annoyance.
