After creating the 2nd gift for Serena Iskandor heads to Serena's home, arriving around 11:30AM. "You home? I've made it back from the mine and come bearing gifts." Iskandor states.
"Come in, I'll be down in a minute." Iskandor hears, guessing she just got out of the shower. Iskandor makes his way inside and sees a minimalistic yet elegant styled house.
"Nice place, a little minimalistic for my tastes but homely nonetheless."
"Well, what do you have for me?" She says, seemingly appearing from nowhere right behind him.
"Don't startle me, I almost stabbed you with your own gift..." Iskandor says, passing a tanto with a handle and scabbard of petrified wood, the boar hoof shaped and polished for a pommel, the scale as a guard and a mythril blade from the same batch as the bracelet with a dragons breath damascus pattern.
"I'll ignore that comment. But thank you, what is the guard made of? It looks like your scales."
"It is, it is a scale that I shed a while back, came from the heart, or a few inches from it."
"I don't know whether or not to laugh..."
"And here is your bracelet, I hope you like this chain pattern. It's fitting, minimalistic and elegant, maybe even serene..."
"How many times do you think I've heard those jokes..." she states with faint humor in her voice.
"Well... I'm not the best with humor..."
"I can tell."
"As per our agreement you make lunch... I feel weird saying that though... So I'll invite you over for dinner, and before you freak there's a kitsune I met, she has amnesia so I'm trying to help her out, she already helped me take out the mines for whatever reason..."
"You did not just ask me out on a date with two other women." Serena sighs.
"Who said it had to be a date... And yes, yes I did..." Iskandor replies.
"Go gut the pig..." she commands, annoyed and amused.
"Yes ma'am!"
After prepping the boar for cooking Iskandor asks, "What are you making?"
"It's a suprise, now go set the table."
"On it, shall I light a candle?" he asks.
"No need," she responds, "I got it." Snapping her fingers she creates a ball of light attuned mana to give a candle like effect.
"Impressive, I was gonna light a candle with fire magic but the use of light magic outmatches what my would be attempts at impressing you."
"Thank you, I apologize for the smell of sulfur, for some reason whenever I use fire magic it creates that smell." She says as she cooks the pork thoroughly.
"Sulfur... that's odd... Some myths associate sulfur with demons, but you are too angel- By the gods! You are the Cambphilim!"
"The what?" She asks, confused.
"Half angel, half demon, born of a human mother... To think that I wouldnt even need to search for you..."
"Did you just accuse me of being an abomination?" She asks menacingly.
"More like a mythical creature that until now no one was sure if existed... Long story short you, this bracelet and I are now connected... This bracelet contains demonite and I accidentally bound myself and due to that I will either become a demon or get the armies of hell sicked on me, or at least according to the myths."
"And where does the Cambphilim fit in?" she asks, unsure of the name and eyeing the bracelet.
"Basically unless I win your favor I'm screwed..."
"So, let's say it's me, how would you win my favor?"
"I wouldn't know... the ambiguity of the myths leave the cambphilim as a child of unknown gender and a demon parent of indeterminate name, gender, rank, subspecies and the same for the angel parent... to the point where it could be anything from the child of a cherub and imp to archangel and archdemon..."
"Well... let's just eat, foods ready." she says, serving a porkchop served with mashed potatoes and green beans, and despite the sulfur flames the food smells great.
"Yeah, let's leave this topic for another time and have our lunch and maybe some wine."
"Yes... I need alchohol after that..." She says, pulling out a suprisingly high quality of wine for such a location.
