Chapter 50: Welcome

I still felt the warm hug my parents and friends gave me.

After spending 6 months with them, I felt heavy with sadness about leaving them. This was the second time I was leaving them and it wasn't getting easier at all.

But I knew that this had to be done. I had unfinished business in Britain.

My window seat on the plane made my flight easier. I tried to get ready, emotionally and mentally. But could I ever be?

I was about to see Di. My best friend for life. My confidant, bodyguard, chef, and emotional support system. My everything.

What about Elena? The sound of reason. But brave enough to follow her heart and do what she wants. I wanted her guidance for the rest of my life.

My sweet Enzo. His short temper always showed how much he cares about small things. He would move mountains for the people he loved. And I would consider myself lucky to be one of those. I felt the utmost gratitude for him.
