Chapter 73 - A transfer student and how to make a new club.

Days passed, and we smoothly progressed to the second year. As always I was the first in rank for the exam, and Kaguya was the second. Looks like Miyuki still is not able to defeat Kaguya in the study.

Their score merely has one point different and it made Miyuki happy. Because even though he can't get the second rank, the fact he was able to have only one point different from Kaguya was a good accomplishment.

If it's the original Kaguya, she will undoubtedly lose to Miyuki. But with me being here, the Kaguya who always close with me always listened when we teach Kaori, and Chika for the exam also got enlightened and made her score was higher than before.

When I asked if she was fine with having only one point difference, she answered she doesn't really care about rank anymore. But for her pride, being at least the top three is a must.

Chisa also smoothly entered our academy and move to live with us. She was extremely delighted her hard work was successful. That day I pampered Chisa for the whole day even sleeping together in my room.

I also became the student council president after the election that held before the exam. It was so easy that I didn't need to prepare something as when the other candidates saw me applying they immediately withdraw themselves.

There isn't even anyone who objects to me becoming the student council president. Kaguya, Chika, and Kaori became a member of the student council with me. Kaguya as the vice president while Chika and Kaori as secretary. And Ishigami joined as my treasury when the new semester starts.

Besides that, Miyuki safely became the president of the disciplinary committee. What made me surprised is Maki volunteered as his vice president on her initiative. Without any need to think he accepted it instantly with a reason like, 'It's good having someone I know as the vice president' while acting cool.

Their relationship also has some progress after a year. From what I see, Maki likely also has a crush to Miyuki. It can be seen from how mild her expression when she was with him. Miyuki doesn't seem to realize this and keep acting cool without confessing his feeling. It's a weird situation where both patiently waiting to get confessed.

It was two days after the new school year started. I who was the student council president and Miyuki got called by the board chairman to his room.

Our board chairman, Kashiwazaki Tenma is a wealthy man. But he wasn't that wealthy to enter the history compilation committee. Naturally, he knew some people there who has a high position in government or other wealthy businessmen.

He also knew that Natsuki was one of the leaders of the history compilation committee. Nonetheless, he didn't know who was I as he wasn't a member there. It is also not needed to announce supernatural things to ordinary people, so they can live normally.

"Welcome, Kitahara-sama, and Shirogane-sama." The blonde-haired butler politely greets us when we entered the office.

"Thanks for coming, Kitahara-kun and Shirogane-kun." Kashiwazaki-san said with a smile.

"It's fine. So, what's up for today, board chairman?" I asked as we went standing in front of his table.

"Is there a problem we need to solve?" Miyuki asked.

"No, it's not something complicated like that. It just, my friend's son who will be transferred here tomorrow. He will be attending class 2D." Kashiwazaki-san smilingly said as he showed some document contained the profile of his friend's son.

It was a half-British teen with a dirty blond and somewhat intimidating face. His name is Hasegawa Kodaka.

"I'm just asking, but are you exploiting your power as board chairman to let this person in?" I raised my eyebrow and asked.

"Ah, he knew it, Pegasus-sama. What should we do..." The butler said without any expression and plain tone.

"Board chairman, are you..." Miyuki looked at the board chairman with a frown.

"Pfff" I looked away to hold back my laugh.

"Don't call me with that name! And stop joking, Stella! He was properly tested, and his grades were above average!" Kashiwazaki-san shouted at his butler and explained.

"Okay, then what do you want us to do by informing us?" I curiously asked. Miyuki although didn't say anything also looking at the board chairman wonderingly.

"I just want to say, although he looks like a delinquent, he wasn't one. People keep misunderstanding him because of his hair and intimidated with how he looks. That's what his father told me, though. But I believe him as he was my super best friend." Kasihwazaki-san explained happily.

"Or you just quite attracted to that man..." Stella said with a low voice but I can hear it.

"Do you say something, Stella?" Kashiwazaki-san tilted his head and asked wonderingly.

"I'm just saying he also thinks of you as his best friend, Pegasus-san." Stella plainly said.

"I know, right! Regardless, it's like that. Hence, I just want to request both of you to help him a bit." Kashiwazaki-san sincerely said. I looked at Miyuki then nodded.

"Sure thing, Pegasus-san." We simultaneously said.

"Don't call me with that name!" Pegasus-san shoutingly said.

"Hahaha..." Stella laughed when she heard we called him Pegasus.

Hasegawa would be transferred to class 2D which is my class. Incidentally, Kaguya, Chika, and Kaori also in the same class as me. Beside them there is Mikazuki Yozora or should I say one of four mysteries on this academy.

Chika and Kaori tried befriending her after our investigation before, but they only managed to become more than acquaintances less than a friend. Both of them busy with their club and she wasn't in the same class as them before. But now, I think they can be called a friend.

The homeroom already started but the transfer student has not come. It was ten minutes after that when he arrived. He breathed heavily after running and making his expression more intimidating than the photos. It caused the students scared of him.

After that incident, he was instantly labeled as a delinquent in this school that full of rich people. Miyuki and I tried to let some people spreading a rumor saying he is not a delinquent and it actually works only for two days.

Seems like some people tried to talks to him after hearing the rumor but they ended up running after they saw his smile. It made the rumor about him being a delinquent crushed the other rumor.

The next day, someone knocked on the student council room.

"Mikazuki-chan? Come in, come in!" Chika said with a smile while opened the door to let her come in.

"Thanks, Fujiwara-san." Yozora nodded and smilingly said.

"Hello, Mikazuki-chan! Are you here to play with us?" Kaori asked.

"I'm sorry, Miyazono-chan. I'm actually here to make a new club." Yozora answered as she went in front of my table.

"A new club huh, what kind of club do you want to make?" I asked.

"The name is the Neighbor's Club." Yozora calmly answered.

"What's the purpose of the club, Mikazuki-san?" Kaguya politely asked.

"In accordance with the teachings of Christianity, we aim to become good neighbors to our fellow students. And deepen our fellowship with them by working together with them to better ourselves in a variety of situations." Yozora explained.

"Our school indeed having a partnership with the church next to us. But I feel like that's not the reason why you want to make this club." Kaguya intently looked at Yozora and said.

"..." Yozora averted her eyes and I can see cold sweat flowing down from her face. Yozora might be brave but stared by the eldest daughter of Shinomiya's household still too much for her.

"Maa, maa. Don't be too hard on her, Kaguya." I looked at Kaguya with a smile and said.

"But, Izumi...*sigh* Fine..." Kaguya, who was about to tell her reason, stopped after looking at my smile.

"In the meantime, go look for an advisor and at least one more student to be a member and write it at the registration form. Chika-chan, give her the club registration form." I said then instructed Chika.

"Roger, Izumi-san!" Chika saluted and went to take the registration on the cabinet.

"Here is the registration, Mikazuki-chan." Chika gave the form and said.

"Thank you, Chika-chan." Yozora smilingly said. Chika smilingly nodded as a response.

"Advisor..." Yozora said while seemingly thinking about something.

"Because you said something about Christianity. Having a sister as your advisor might be possible." I said with a smile.

"Really?! Thank you very much, president! I will fill this form and come back again tomorrow. Once again, thank you very much!" Yozora lowered her head and gratefully said.

"No worries. Good thing our board chairman was quite nonchalant." I jokingly said. Then, Yozora lowered her head once more and went out of the room.

"I'm just curious, is there a reason you let her make the club, Izumi?" Kaguya curiously asked.

��I want to know about that too" Kaori and Chika added.

"You are indeed right when you say she has another motive to make the club, Kaguya. Do you know what is it?" I asked.

"Do you know about it, Izumi?" Kaguya tilted her head and asked back.

"To put it simply, she was saying 'I want to make more friends with someone.'" I answered.

"Now you put it like that... I see..." Kaguya nodded approvingly and said.

"But aren't we friends?" Chika asked with a sad expression.

"Indeed. But I guess she wants something more than friends. Comrades maybe? The same type of people as her who hard to make friends. You two are easy to make friends after all." I gently explained.

"I see... Should we enter her club then?" Kaori nodded and asked.

"It's fine. I believe she will encounter such people in the newly made club." I said.

"If you two joined the club, it won't be successful you know?," Kaguya added.

"For now, just be her friends as usual without joining her club, okay?" I smilingly said.

"Roger, President!" Chika and Kaori simultaneously said.
