the old Lords of the City

two years ago.....

in a round table are sitting around all the important gangsters of the city. in one chair is Domingo Plazas. on another chair is Vladimir Petrov. on another chair is Ted Wayne Whitley. next to him is Mark C Miller Jr with Lethal Stinger behind of him. next to him is Don Gratiano Bellucci. next to him is Alberto Esposito using the alias of 'Money-Maker.' on that same table are another six gangsters that haven't been introduce jet.

they all are talking about the way in which the city is going to be divided for them to not fight for control of the city. some of them are not so happy with this idea. others agree thinking that even if the numbers are small is better to be safe.

"how is this damn deal of yours going to be beneficiary for us?"

asks one old man [in the actual time his whole family was massacred on his home by some guys that entered on his home a week after the war began.]

"oh hell ya. ma mama told me once. 'boy if ya wanna be a cowboy ya better know with who ya re shooting guns with'. na sure who ya all re. I take da deal."

said a cowboy looking guy [in the actual time he is running away from the city with all that he has left.]

"sure, why not."

said the leader of a foreigner mafia [in the actual time his body was found on a river by some fisherman.]

Vladimir Petrov and Domingo Plaza are arguing for a difference of opinion [in the actual time Vladimir is in prison & Domingo Plaza is out of the city.] one guy tells them to stop fighting [in the actual time he is in prison.]

"thanks for the offer. as powerful as I and Congressman Miller are, we are thinking in taking the offer. this is better in order to avoid a war on the city."

said Don Gratiano with a strong voice that force everyone else to agree [in the actual time Don Gratiano Bellucci is in a coma.]

the actual time.....

Ted Wayne Whitley is on the armored car. in the car with him is one of the guys of that meeting. Ted Wayne Whitley asks him why he is also trying to escape the city. the guy answers by telling him that he received a death threat.

"I tried to take the head of the Bellucci family out of the equation. my actions backfired. now I am running away trying to keep my life and my sanity."

said Ted Wayne with a fake smile trying to hide his fear.

the car stops. both guys are starting to feel paranoia. Ted Wayne notice that the objects that are on the armored car are of value but not much value. those objects are replaceable. Ted Wayne starts to believe that it was all a trap from the Congressman to get rid of them.

"fuck. we are fuck. we need to get the fuck out of here right now."

said Ted Wayne to himself as he thinks of a solution.

outside of the armored car. far away from it is Blue-Ribbon holding a bazooka. he aims at the armored car and he shoots at the same time that Ted Wayne jumps out of the car. the car explodes with the other mafioso inside of it. Ted Wayne is dragging himself with various burns on his legs, his arms and on his back.

Blue-Ribbon knew that Ted was still alive. he throws the bazooka away and he walks forward with two pistols on his hands. he walks slowly as he gets closer to Ted Wayne who is still on the ground unable to stand up. every step he takes is a step closer to kill the man who has become a problem for him and his boss.

Ted Wayne is talking to himself as he feels that his death is closer to him every second that passes without moving. Ted is aware that Blue-Ribbon is a Hitman who has killed hundreds. some for entertainment and others for duty. if a man like him is send to kill you then you are basically already dead.

the only hope that Ted has left is not enough to save his pathetic life but there are always unexpected events that come to save your life in the less expected ways possible. as Ted turns around holding a gun ready to shoot at the Hitman. when Blue-Ribbon was about to shoot at him, his gun didn't work. it didn't shoot a single bullet.

as Blue-Ribbon was shock & surprised at the same time unable to react properly. Ted shoots at him in the left leg. Blue-Ribbon walks backwards and a car runs him over. Blue-Ribbon is still alive but unconscious. Ted Wayne somehow is able to stand up and he walks as fast as he can, as far as he can.

Ted Wayne calls Lethal Stinger and he gives him all the information he has about Congressman Mark C Miller Jr. (Ted made a deal with Lethal Stinger before making the deal with Congressman Miller. he would give all information about Lethal Stinger to Mark if Mark could get him out of the city. but if Mark betrays him then he would tell to Lethal Stinger everything about Mark.)

the call ends. Ted Wayne is walking fast to a location in which Lethal Stinger send a car to wait for him. it ain't an armored car, but something is something and anything is perfect for someone who is in Ted's position.

two hours later on an abandoned warehouse.....

Chiko has two guys tied to chairs with their faces covered by masks. Chiko asks them if they know anything about Lucky-Hit. one of them is Alberto and the other one is someone who was also in the meeting two years ago.

"I have connections. is probable that one of them is someone close to or knows about the man you are trying to find."

said Alberto Esposito sure of his words.

Chiko takes the masks off of them. he releases them. Alberto takes a gun out and he blows the brains off of the other guy. Alberto explains that it was necessary for the other guy to be dead as he drops the gun.

"I was working with a gangster like you, he ran away as soon as his life was in danger so you have to understand that I was in a limbo without a colleague to give me a hand to find the Lucky-Hit. if we find that man, we are going to be like heroes."

said Chiko a retired Hero who has been living for years without using his powers properly.

Chiko sits in a chair as he tries to breath slowly. it was hell to work for so long without finding anything about the dangerous man that has become his obsession. it was harder to fight alone in this crazy city.

Chiko was about to give up on his quest to find his best friend and his worst enemy. long ago when he heard that Lucky-Hit was either dead or in a prison for the worst criminals of the world he felt relief and betrayed. there were no words to described how conflicted he felt to know that his friend could be dead. a friend who was an enemy.

it was last year that he was told about Lucky-Hit's survival to one of the strongest battles against a strong enemy. he wasn't just alive but also free. at first Chiko felt relief about his friend's survival but after some events he found that Lucky-Hit was planning something big which was going to include the death of many innocent civilians.

"I am no coward like your previous partner. if you want to find this person then I can help, but of course I need something in return. you have the muscles and experience to be of great help. you fight for me and I find him for you."

said Alberto with confidence in his words and sure that together they can help each other.

Chiko took the deal. he was no longer a hero so he has no reason to be afraid of helping a gangster to commit crimes against other gangsters. Chiko's only condition is that he doesn't touch innocent civilians. he would be the mallet of justice as long as there are criminals to punish.

Alberto call a friend of his (the friend is a hacker.) he asks him to find everything about Lucky-Hit. Alberto didn't know anything about Lucky-Hit (everyone who knows is a local or has been told about him by a local criminal but Alberto has never been the friendly type of person so of course he didn't know who that man was.)

Chiko asks him if he needed to be taken to his home or if someone is going to come for him. Alberto told him that he didn't wanted to go home now. he wanted to enjoy of the night a bit more before going home.

right now at the border of the city...

Ted Wayne Whitley is in a car. he gets out of the car. he is on the border about to exit the city. he looks behind for a second. Blue-Ribbon is with a gun aiming at him. Ted Wayne is frozen on fear of what is to come. Ted Wayne gives a step backwards as he turns around to face Blue-Ribbon.

Blue-Ribbon is drinking a blueberry milk as he smirks with the confidence of a winner. he can savor his victory. Blue-Ribbon asks him if he has any last words. Ted is laughing making fun of him. Ted tries to pull his gun out. Blue-Ribbon shots twice. Ted falls on his knees. he is looking at the sky waiting for his death.

Ted Wayne closes his eyes with his face up. he did everything in his power to avoid this end. he is trembling with fear as he wants to be seen as a brave man in his last day. Blue-Ribbon puts his guns down as Lethal Stinger is walking behind him with a gun aiming at his head.

"sorry I am late to the party. you better stand up and start walking. a gun is not enough to stop a killing machine like this bastard. move your ass now."

said Lethal Stinger as he looks carefully at Mr. Blue-Ribbon.

Ted Wayne stands up slowly. he walks behind Lethal Stinger and he gets inside of a car. Lethal Stinger gives a step backwards. he doesn't take his eyes off Blue-Ribbon aware of the danger that can be. Lethal Stinger gives another step backwards. he shoots at Blue-Ribbon in his left leg. Blue-Ribbon falls on his knees.

Lethal Stinger runs towards the car. he drives the car far away from there. Ted asks him if he is going to help him exit the town. Lethal Stinger tells him that right now what he needs is a doctor. he is going to help him get out of the town later.

another car crashes with the car in which they are. the car overturns. Lethal Stinger is left unconscious. Ted still awake tries to leave the car. as he is dragging his body he starts to feel fatal as he realizes that he has lost a lot of blood.

"you are not leaving the city tonight. the boss wants you on his basement."

said Bloodstain as he walks in front of him.

"are you fucking kidding me? at least I tried to get out of this motherfucking awful forgettable trashy city. damn."

yields Ted as he struggles to breath properly.

Blue-Ribbon is behind Bloodstain. he hits him with an iron stick on the head. Bloodstain falls unconscious on the floor. Blue-Ribbon asks Ted if he can still move. he orders him to follow him if he wants to stay alive.

twenty minutes later; Ted is walking next to Blue-Ribbon as they walk towards Blue-Ribbon's hotel room. Ted asks him why is that he change of idea. Blue-Ribbon answers by saying that he was tired and he wanted to take a shower and to take care of his wounds. Blue-Ribbon explains that he has a strict routine to keep his beauty.

inside of the hotel is walking Blue-Ribbon leaving a trail of blood and Ted asks him if that isn't a problem for the hotel. cleaning blood is nothing easy. Blue-Ribbon tells him to relax. he explains that he pays extra for a reason and he also clarifies that he is going to give some extra cash to the manager.

they enter inside of the room. Blue-Ribbon takes his t-shirt off and his pants off. he complains with Ted by telling him that he almost blow his leg off. he is taking care of his wounds. he looks at Ted. he helps him to take his t-shirt off and his pants off. Ted has bleed a lot that he barely has any energy to move. Blue-Ribbon puts him on the bed as he takes care of his wounds.

on the meantime on a basement...

Lethal Stinger wakes up and he looks at Arturo and Arristide in front of him. Lethal Stinger spits some blood. Arturo punches him in the face. Lethal Stinger complains for the pain. Arristide asks him if he is planning on betraying his trust.

"please, give me a rational explanation of why were you. my loyal servant, helping Ted my worst enemy."

"I am sorry if you saw me as a traitor. my intentions were never to go against you..... the truth is that I made a deal with him. he would give me information about Mark C Miller Jr & in return I help him to escape from the city..... the outcome was perfect for us, your worst enemy gone & mine dead."

"okay. I am going to let this in the past, but you better never do something like this, never ever again."

Arristide asks Arturo to take Lethal Stinger to his place and then to go home after all he has a date soon and he has to be seen presentable.
