the lights of an exotic night

the Drainer is still in the bar with the cops drinking. he looks at his watch and he realizes that it is ten p.m. already. he has a lot of work to do tomorrow and he would be in serious problems if he doesn't do any of that work, but he was drag to this bar without his consent (not really) so he is not to blame if he doesn't go back to his home on time.

the Stuntman is in the middle of the hallway dancing with two good looking ladies at the same time. one of the guys asks him how is possible for him to handle two at the same time while dancing and the Stuntman with a grin answers by saying that he can handle even more. everyone underestimate the Stuntman, no one knew that he was a ladies man (the Stuntman enjoys of dancing and he has different teachers to teach him different types of dancing and the reason why he can dance with multiple people at the same time is because his ability/power is speed.)

Walter Grey is somewhere talking about all the dirty secrets that he has found about Ray of Hope and his whole family. he is even getting signatures to kick Ray of Hope out of the city. he yields and cries while calling Ray of Hope a monster and Bloodstain a saint send to drag Ray of Hope back to the hell from which he came. some might think that Walter's behavior is almost comical and others might say that it is simply sad to see a man so well known behaving like that.

the Drainer looks at Walter and the Stuntman making a fool of themselves and he decides to take them with him, but first he is going to record everything to blackmailed them if any of them tries to attack him. he is also going to finish the five beers that are awaiting for him on the table. the Drainer decides to play some card games with the cops before leaving after all a night with unknown new friends is not fun without a card game and he is good at winning.

the Stuntman steps in the middle of the bar with a microphone on his hands. he starts to talk about shameful events that he has lived in his life while everyone else is laughing. the Stuntman in a serious tone talks in detail about his most shameful memories; from one time in which he was teleport naked inside of a pool full of flesh eating fish and one bite his left cheek leaving him a red scar and him unable to sit down for a whole month. then he talks about a time in which a jealous girlfriend tough he was seen another woman and she invented a rumor about him having STDs.

"I didn't force those idiots to anything so if something happens I hope they won't blame me for that. I am just a friends making guy and a Drainer of Bottles of Liquor."

said the Drainer while playing his card game.

one hour ago in Aristide's hideout...

Aristide turns the lights on with the help of Blind Thief. they look at a group of hooded men whom were awaiting for their return in the darkness of the hideout. Aristide seems to know them and he thanks them for accompany them on this dark place. Blind Thief seems to be a bit confused with this whole thing. he trust in his master and in his greed, there has never been a single time in which Blind Thief has ever doubted him.

the hooded men are nine in total. their faces are cover by the hoods and all of them are wearing black clothes with a symbol on the right side of the chest; two of them are huge like giants. one of them is small and the rest of them are in regular sizes. some look skinny and others seem to have monstrous muscles. Blind Thief could tell that at least two of them are woman and the rest are males.

the hooded men had this aura that was enough to tell that they were all monsters with inhuman power, physical power or literal power. they were all servants of the Bellucci family. they were all atomic bombs in the shape of pawns on the palm of a Mafioso with the legacy that caries his family for more than a few hundreds of years of political power and blinding others to swear loyalty at all cost. that is the type of weight that the last name Bellucci caries in this world. it might be small in comparison with other families but in this country their power could be called almost absolute (well it was almost absolute in the past until they lost a lot of power many years ago.)

Aristide explains to his loyal friend that they all are part of a secret organization of assassins that was created by his father, so it won't be cheating if he used them to take control of the city. Aristide laughs with emotion and excitement believing that he is already king of this city. Blind thief on the other side was thinking if the Bellucci family has that kind of power why is that they lose that war to control the country so many years ago when Don Gratiano saved the Bellucci family from the extinction.

"you might have many questions my loyal right hand but let me explain something to you. before I was born my father saw a future in which I was the head of the Bellucci family, he dedicate many years of his own life to finding the most dangerous monsters that can live in this world and he recruited them in an league of Assassins that he named "the Loyal Servants of the Night" and now I am the head of this assassins and as the name suggests they all are loyal to me."

in the meantime on the streets of the most silent part of the city...

Night-Sight and Alberto Esposito are walking together. none of them is good at talking with someone equal to them (Alberto is too accustomed to give orders to everyone that he meets because he is only surrounded by his people) Night-Sight is looking down at the pavement (he only speaks to his enemies when he is torturing them mostly, he is also bad at talking with 'normal' people) Alberto takes an agenda out of his pockets and he opens it in page 57. he reads and then he looks at Night-Sight.

Alberto remembers with clarity the day in which the Drainer enter on the Mansion of his grandpa and left him dying. he saw how merciless can be an assassin with his own eyes and there is no day that he can forget the rage in the eyes of the Drainer like the rage of a grim reaper awaiting to claim the soul of his victim. that was a day that marked Alberto for the rest of his life for better or for worse and that was the day that he vow to hunt down the man known as the Drainer. Alberto is here to complete that vow that he made with himself.

Night-Sight is the biggest antisocial man in the city, but he wasn't always like that. there was a time and a moment in which he was sociable and that was the time in which he met Fumiko and he dated her (those were the best days of his life) but then he broke up with her because her dreams and his dreams weren't meant to keep them together. not long after they broke up there was a tragedy.

some gangster slaughtered his whole family and that gangster used a stupid excuse to justified his actions. he did it just to prove that he was scary and dangerous. after losing his whole family Night-Sight trained to become a shadow that lives in darkness. a shadow that punished that gangster in the most brutal way possible and kept killing criminals and arresting some (mutilated or beat almost to death) until this day. Night-Sight is his Vigilante name because he is like a shadow that attacks in the darkness of the night. his eyes are always watching the steps of the Villains every night.

"so are you actually interested in that lady?"

"yes, she was a light from a time of peace. and I had decided that I want to recover what I lose."

"you sound so romantic when you are not talking about removing heads or fingers or second heads.... so romantic that... is kind of creepy really."

"do you want to wake up tomorrow with your whole body? if the answer is yes, avoid any harmful comment that might cost your life."

"I am not good in the whole sociable thing, this thing of talking with others isn't my thing."

"mine either. I see that we can become good friends, in a not so far away future."

at the moment on Fumiko's house.....

Arturo is reading a novel similar to Romeo & Juliet while Jurgen is talking with Fumiko about work. Jurgen is worried for the case that she was assigned to. Arturo warns them that if they do anything inappropriate he is going to destroy the H.C.P.D. while he goes to the living room to keep reading the book while those two talk about work.

Fumiko knows that she was assigned a difficult mission for her first mission. not to be put on danger, but for her to prove to everyone of what she is made. also there is no way that her boss would put her in any danger. not because the boss cares for his employees, but because her father would erased him from this world if anything happens to her. that is just the kind of protective father that she has (disclaimer: it was hard for her to stop her father from committing murder when he was told about the kind of person that Ray of Hope is.)

Jurgen looks at Fumiko and he feels this strong heartbeat, like a messenger of his true feelings and he wants to conceal those wild desires of becoming something more than just a friend for her. he wants to hide his love but is almost impossible when she is so closed to him and his feelings are growing stronger at every minute. every feeling of love was completely erased when he looked at the living room (he saw Arturo holding a chainsaw and making signals for him to understand that any false move and he is going to wake up in pieces inside of a bag under the bridge.)

Arturo is in the living room and he yields complaining that Jurgen ruined his plans (the three of them went out to eat and to take a walk around of the city the whole day) Arturo is angry because he wanted to take advantage of this day to have a romantic date with the owner of his heart. but everything was ruined when Jurgen become a third-wheel (in every occasion that Arturo tried to do something romantic Jurgen did something to ruined Arturo's plan) Jurgen didn't mean it, is just that his personality is so him.

Fumiko is so tired (it was annoying for her to be the whole time in between two guys with personalities that are extremely different) Fumiko remembers that tomorrow is Sunday and she smiles thinking about the peace that she would have and all feeling of peace disappears when she looks at both Jurgen and Arturo standing in front of her. none of them says a single word but she can tell what they are thinking at this moment. any feeling of peace is erased and replaced by a feeling of frustration.

"no fucking way, none of you jesters would ruined my opportunity of peace."

yields Fumiko furious.

"darling you are hurting my small sensitive heart with such acts of violence."

says Arturo in a child like voice.

"I am so sorry Ms. Suzuki. I know I was wrong to snatch your peace by bringing work in your day off. I promised that I won't do it ever again."

said Jurgen showing his sincere remorse.

"it is okay, I forgive you. let's have fun all together another time..... just not a day before Monday and everything is going to be okay."

said Fumiko smiling.

"alright... called us first"

said Arturo and Jurgen at the same time.

"by the way Arturo, I know that your feelings for me are sincere so I was thinking about giving you an opportunity with one single condition, if you want to have a serious relationship with me you better leave the life of crime behind or else our professions would bring chaos to our lives."

said Fumiko actually thinking in giving him an opportunity.

"thanks, so are we officially...."

said Arturo before being disrupted by Jurgen who pushes him away 'by accident.'

"I also want to be given an opportunity. I like you a lot."

yields Jurgen who acted on his instincts and not his brains.

"oh fuck, more complications."

said Fumiko unsure if she should feel glad or annoyed to be loved by her childhood crush and her crush from work.

love is such a complicate thing and more when you are a twenty-five years old police woman with many idiots falling in love. well this is sure to be an Odyssey lead by the heard, love and life.
