the law of power

Lethal Stinger is on Don Gratiano Bellucci's office. Lethal Stinger asks him for the reason why he call him. Don Gratiano tells him that he is going to die soon. Don Gratiano doesn't have much time left before he is kill. Lethal Stinger wants to know what he can do for him. Don Gratiano asks him to be at his cousin's side. he wants for Lethal Stinger to be of help to Arristide.

Don Gratiano Bellucci knows that there are people who want to kill him. he has too many enemies but he has never felt like his death is coming, he never felt that way until now. in this last few days he has been feeling like his death is near. he trust in Lethal Stinger to be a messenger of his last will.

Lethal Stinger works for Mark C Miller Jr so he never thought that someone who is his boss' partner would asks him for help. Lethal Stinger accepts to do anything for him. Don Gratiano asks him if he is going to break free from his boss. Lethal Stinger nods. Lethal Stinger haven't use his full power in a long time.

"did you know that in my days of youth I was a strong man. I was a fighter that even fought against some strong man with powers. me a man with no power was able to take down some powerful bastards but now look at me. what do you see? if your answer is anything but a weak old man then you aren't been truthful with me."

"I know sir. I know who you were then, and I know who you are now. for respect to you I am prepared to take responsibility in case of your death."

"thanks, you have no idea how much it means to me to know that I am not alone in this. at least I can die at peace knowing that I have people on my side, knowing that I have people to who I can count on to keep that stupid boy alive."

"if I am going to do this favor for you sir. I want you to tell me the truth. why is your cousin so important to you? why do you want him to be protected so bad?"

"because he is my boy, my son. when I was younger my brother and I, we fall in love with the same woman. she was so gorgeous and so majestic that we couldn't help but to fight for her. one day I was forced to leave because of the war in between mafias, my people needed me on the front line of a war to fight for my family. the day I came back they were on the day of their wedding. I had a night of passion with her the night she got pregnant of my boy. my brother knew about that and he forgive her because it was impossible to not forgive her and I left to this city to make our empire of crime grow. this city became my prison for the sin I committed against my own brother."

Lethal Stinger was quiet. a forbidden love was the last thing he wanted to hear from the voice of that old man. Don Gratiano felt shame for his actions but not for his love for that woman. Don Gratiano tells to Lethal Stinger that his brother and his wife died when an enemy mafia attacked them on their territory and only his son survived. to erase any evidence of his sins one uncle took care of the kid with the condition that Don Gratiano would never tell him the truth and that he would stay on the city as his punishment.

later that day on a cafe on the center of the city...

Mr Blue-Ribbon is drinking a chamomile tea. he breaths slowly at peace as he waits for someone to come. he has been talking with some people who are connected to his boss. he looks at the time with desperation. if there is something that he hates more than not looking good is someone who isn't punctual.

Mr Blue-Ribbon asks the waiter for a glass of water and he also asks for the special. Mr Blue-Ribbon is thinking in leaving after he eats something. he looks at the watch on the wrist of his left hand. he is sweating nervously thinking 'how can someone stood him up when he is the Messenger and voice of Brandon Ice.'

someone enters in the restaurant. he smiles thinking that finally that person has arrived. he hears the footsteps of someone walking slowly towards him. Mr Blue-Ribbon is looking at the table trying to look cool. he hears whispers of people and he feels curiosity in the person who is right now sitting in front of him. he looks up surprise once he is in front of Chiko Suzuki and not the person he wanted to see.

Chiko is wearing a black coat covered by blood. he is wearing jeans that are also stained on blood. Chicko has some minor wounds in his whole body. a few cuts and bruises. half of his face is covered of his blood and the blood of someone else. he smile while he gets a gun slowly out of his coat. he aims at Mr Blue-Ribbon.

"are you surprised?"

Chicko asks with a creepy smirk.

Mr Blue-Ribbon nods feeling desperate for the first time in ten years. it has been a decade since the last time that he saw someone who can inflict fear to him. Mr Blue-Ribbon smirks awkwardly and he talks about random stuff trying to distract the man who is sitting in front of him. nothing is working and he is getting more nervous and afraid of him.

Chicko asks him about his purpose on the city. Mr Blue-Ribbon starts to talk about Brandon Ice and his plans to take over the whole city. Chiko asks him if he knows anything about a man named 'Lucky-Hit.' Mr Blue-Ribbon swears to not know anything about that man. Mr Blue-Ribbon feels concern for this moment of cowardice.

Mr Blue-Ribbon keeps talking about the people who work for his boss that are inside of the city. Chiko describes the appearance of Lucky-Hit and once more Mr Blue-Ribbon denies knowing anything about that man. Chiko knows that he is saying the truth but for some reason he is no convinced that none of the criminals of the city knows about the location of Lucky-Hit the most unforgettable monster on the city.

Mr Blue-Ribbon asks him about the man who was meant to have a meeting with him. Chiko tells him that is better for him to not know if he intends to keep sleeping peacefully at night. Mr Blue-Ribbon understands that the fate of that person must have been so brutal even for him to know. Mr Blue-Ribbon is trembling.

Chiko asks for a glass of wine to a waiter. a waiter arrives with Mr Blue-Ribbon's water and food. later another waiter arrives with Chiko's wine. Chiko drinks a whole bottle of wine like if it was water. he asks Mr Blue-Ribbon to investigate with his people about the whereabouts of Lucky-Hit. Chiko insists that is primordial to find that man if he wishes to stay alive.

"if you think that I am scary, is because you haven't seen the devil with your own two eyes. once you see the devil you would understand how hopeless you can truly feel with a monster like that in front of you."

said Chiko by just thinking about the true power that Lucky-Hit holds.

Chiko stands up. he looks around of him. he drinks the glass of water and then he leaves. Mr Blue-Ribbon couldn't believe that he didn't die in that moment of true terror.

later on the residence of Mark C Miller Jr...

Domingo Plazas is in front of the door. a butler opens the door and allows him to enter. he follows the butler to Mark C's office. he comes inside of the office. Mark C is leaning on the desk. Domingo Plazas asks him if he knows about Walter's arrest. Domingo sits on a chair waiting for an answer from Mark C.

Mark C tells him that it was spectacular to see him suffering like a dog when he was taken to a prison. Mark C takes a briefcase from under his desk. he opens the briefcase proving to Domingo that the briefcase is full of money. he closes it and he gives it to him. Domingo is glad to know that his business partner is happy with the job.

"is there someone else that I can take care of for you?"

Mark wanted to do something about Bloodstain but after that time that he visited him. Mark wasn't sure anymore if it was convenient to spill blood when the only thing that he has to do to avoid a battle with him is to control his own son. Mark wants to concentrate in his political career at the moment. there was no need for blood.

"I need you to take care of some business for me outside of the city. there are some people who are forgetting who I am. once they are out every complication is going to be erase from our business."

Mark C Miller Jr is an intimidating man. is for that same reason that Domingo Plazas shows respect to him. Domingo Plazas asks him for the complete information that he needs about the people that he has to eliminate. Mark C tells him that he is going to give him the complete information later.

Domingo is nervous thinking about Chiko. he knows that he can't leave the city if Chiko wants him to help him with the infamous Lucky-Hit. he is going to send some of his best guys to take care of the job that Marc C wants done. he has to talk with Chiko soon or he might get a bit violent in their next meeting.

Domingo wants to keep his deal with Chiko a secret from others. he is not afraid of being seen as a traitor or anything like that, but he is afraid of being seen as Chiko's lapdog. he has a reputation to keep clean as a man who doesn't answer to anyone who is not him. the only reason why he has been working with Mark is because he pays well.

Domingo informs Mark about a business of which he needs to take care of. Domingo leaves. Domingo enters in a car and he asks the driver to take him to an abandoned warehouse. he wants to meet Chiko in there. he is nervous because he doesn't know what Chiko can want from him.

"this is all bullshit. fuck how can I be alive in this city that keeps trying to swallowing me whole. I won't be anyone else' bitch. I am my own person and no one owns me."

Domingo keeps talking with himself nervously until he feels better and with more ego. he knows that he is known for being dangerous and a crazy son of bitch. he knows that not anyone can dare to touch him or try to kill him. he laughs feeling better.

Domingo looks at his phone. he sees a message that was send by Chiko. he answers the message letting him know that he is on his way to the abandoned warehouse in which they agreed to meet. he is tired of this city but this city is too addictive to leave.

earlier on the H.C.P.D....

Fumiko and Jurgen are working in different cases. everyone in the H.C.P.D. has been busy with the increase of crime they didn't have a choice but to work even extra hours with the intention of stopping the wave of crime that seems to be increasing more and more. no one is safe now.

most of the guys in the police department are use to working extra hours but this days everyone is stressed with all the work. everyone feels like they are about to faint with all the excess of work. Fumiko has taken some criminals to jail but that is not enough. for every guy that goes to jail two or four more are taking their place in this endless cycle of blood and violence.

"I can't deal with this anymore. this was suppose to be one of the safest cities in the whole country because of our number 1 and 2 heroes but with all this crime I don't see how are we safe anymore. I am worry for my kids and wife. I think I am going to move to a better place."

said one of the police officers.

"yes, we can't stay in here like this. last time they fucking attacked Rodriguez like some fucking animals. they left Rodriguez in a coma. I can't deal with this shit. fuck, Walker was a family man and one of the nicest guys I had ever met. they fucking mutilate Walker and I had to give the news to his family. they trusted me and I was unable to do anything for Walker. I wish you had seen the dreadful eyes of his wife and kids."

yields another police officer feeling desperate.

"I fucking know that we are walking on a thin line in between death and life, but wasn't that suppose to be our jobs since the first time in which we decided to be cops. out there are people with powers and we the unlucky ones are meant to fight for the city without any power just to protect our love ones and to prove that we are no joke. I know that we are never going to be at the level of the heroes, but I don't care because we are here not to compare ourselves with more powerful people but to fight against crime with all our strength and with courage. we are the ones who are going to save the city."

yields Jurgen letting know everyone that he isn't giving up on the city that gave him a second chance.

Jurgen tells everyone that those with love ones are welcome to leave for the moment but he request that those who have nothing to lose to stay to fight at his side, shoulder with shoulder against the crime. to fight to clean the city of the dirt that is destroying the peace of their friends, family and love ones.

after hearing those words everyone has doubt in leaving the Police Department. Jurgen begs to those with family waiting for them to leave. he tells them that he isn't going to sacrifice them knowing that there are people waiting for them to return alive. he tells them that he isn't going to take responsibility if they die.

half of the cops in the police department leave their police badges and guns. Jurgen asks them to take their guns with them because he isn't sure that leaving the city would be safe without a gun at their hands. the cops understand and they take back their guns before leaving the police department. with only half of them in the police department the place feels half empty.
