discord among lambs

Jonathan Miller and Night-Sight are putting the trash bags inside of Jonathan's car. Night-Sight looks at Alberto putting more trash bags on the other car with the help of Blind Thief. Daisuke and Arturo are making sure that everything is done properly. Aristide gets out of the gym with the cleaning products. he confirms that everything was completely clean and that no one would ever dare to believe that someone was murder in there.

Arturo tells Blind Thief to go home with Daisuke. Arturo explains to everyone else that they would throw the dead bodies on the bridge. he gets on a car with Alberto and Aristide. in the other car are Night-Sight and Jonathan Miller. they leave.

Daisuke asks to Blind Thief if he is interested on keep doing exercise. Blind Thief feels like this day has been a curse. he just wants to go home and take a shower. Daisuke invites him to eat at his place. he explains that he would have some guests on his home that are fun to hangout. Blind Thief accepts the offer.

on the cars....

Arturo is in the backseat with the trash bags. on the front are Alberto and Aristide who are not on friendly terms and they are expecting for an excuse to kill each other. Alberto starts to tell boring jokes that are so bad that Aristide falls asleep on the third joke. Arturo asks him to stop torturing him with those awful jokes. Alberto puts some music to make less uncomfortable the silence.

Aristide wakes up feeling guilty of falling asleep with the jokes. Arturo saw how Aristide and Alberto seem to know each other and out of curiosity he asks them about their relationship. Aristide admits that Alberto and him are enemies and that they are soon to enter in a Gangster war for control of the city.

Arturo is thinking for a moment in how pointless would be a war between gangsters on a city mostly owned by the Heroes and with a balance so perfect that said war will only affect the criminals that live on the city. Arturo asks them if there is someone powerful supporting the possible war.

on the other car Jonathan Miller and Night-Sight are looking at the road in silence. Jonathan is driving carefully. Night-Sight is about to fall asleep. he didn't sleep for more than two hours in the whole day and he can't stay awake anymore. Night-Sight asks to Jonathan to tell him about his missions fighting criminals.

Jonathan feels pride when he hears those words. no one has ever asks him about his missions. everyone wants him to smile and to give nice words but no one cares about his struggle fighting the evil that tries to take over the city and his concern for the safety of the citizens for who he fights so hard to keep alive.

Jonathan starts to talk about the five strongest enemies that he has fought. one of them is Mr. McSea a giant crab-like humanoid that was five meters tall and strong like hell. Jonathan explains in detail how even for him was hard to fight such a strong monster who came from the sea to avenge his fellow sea creatures that had been being eaten by humans for entire generations.

another enemy that he fought and who was strong was the Devilish Fallen Star; a man who said to be a fallen angel who came to earth to slave the humans and become the ruler of mortals. he had a tragic end when he lose half of a wing and fall inside of a volcano. another great enemy was the Gray Ambassador some sort of Alien send to conquer the earth with an army and who failed.

Jonathan has a serious look on his face before he talks about the only two Villains that he has never defeated. the first one is the infamous Bloodstain and the other one is a former Hero who had a traumatic experience in the assault of a Villain that resulted in the death of many civilians. said Hero couldn't deal with the trauma and he went rogue. is said that he targeted those working for the government and Heroes, after killing hundreds he disappear.

Night-Sight was practically asleep when he woke up with the name of Bloodstain and with the description of a Former Hero that everyone knows but not many dares to said his name aloud. Lucky Hit is a name that everyone knows but no one dares to mention because they believe that saying his name is like calling the devil himself.

somewhere else on the streets.....

Fumiko and Jurgen are on a car. Jurgen puts some romantic music to help him think with clarity about the case that he has to solve at the moment. Fumiko looks at Jurgen for a moment and she feels her own heartbeat. for a moment she feels ashamed of been thinking about love on times of work, on times in which she should be thinking about her own work.

Jurgen looks at the clock and he is worry because the only breakfast they had was the coffee and tea that the old lady offer to them. they haven't eat anything in the whole day. Fumiko asks him if he is worry about something. Jurgen tells her that they can keep doing their work later and that at the moment the most important thing is to have a full stomach.

Jurgen stops on a red light and he looks at the quiet streets of the city. there are some people walking with smiles on their faces feeling safe from the evil in the world. the sun is warm and not extremely hot today. there is a breeze that gives you a sense of freedom. the huge buildings on the center of the city are perfect to give the comfort to believe that this is the strongest and most important city in the whole country.

there are other cities with their own importance like Los Santos which doesn't have enough control over the crime but is strong enough to make money but many prefer to go to a city like Heroic City a place with history in a mix in between the past and the future with modern infrastructure and some ancient sites.

there are many towns, cities, states, and even countries but just a few continents. this city might be the pride of this country but with a world as big as it is one single city is nothing in comparison with other countries like the Aztec Country with their greatest city, Mexiwood. but for the citizens of this countries the only thing that actually matters is the peace that the Villains refuse to give away.

Jurgen stops in front of a restaurant. he helps Fumiko to get out of the car and they go together inside of the restaurant to eat. Jurgen tells her that she doesn't have to think about the price of the food, he is going to pay for both of them. Jurgen goes to the bathroom to wash his hands and in there he receives a call from someone he never expected to see ever again in his life.

Fumiko is looking at the menu. she asks to the waiter for pineapple juice while she keeps reading the menu. after a few minutes Jurgen sits in front of her. he asks to the waiter for a soda and he asks for the special of the day. Fumiko asks for a seafood soup. after five minutes the waiter comes with the drinks and he tells them that their food won't take long. Jurgen sighs looking at Fumiko.

Fumiko knows that Jurgen is the perfect man to share her life with but then she haven't get over the fact of how much she suffer with her last relationship. there are also other things like her job and the return of Arturo on her life. there are many things in which she has to think about and she has no patience to deal with all that on her life.

the waiter comes with the food. Jurgen starts to eat with a small smile on his face. he is not good at expressing his own feelings but she can tell that he is happy with his meal. Fumiko eats slowly looking away. she can't contain her happiness every time she looks at Jurgen on the eyes. somehow this feels like a date.

"a nice day, today is a nice day."

at the moment on the bridge...

Alberto and Aristide are trowing the trash bags off the bridge. Night-Sigh and Jonathan are taking some trash bags off the car and then they throw the bags together. Arturo is playing games on his phone. he loses the game, he yields and curses really angry.

"there are no bodies nor evidence now, can we go, like now."

yields Jonathan furious because he had a meeting with his father.

"do you think that I care.... yeah you can go. also I want to invite you to a party that I am having at my place."

yields Arturo.

Jonathan leaves with Aristide on his car. Alberto leaves with Night-Sight on the other car. Arturo is left alone on the middle of the bridge. he calls Daisuke who isn't answering his phone because he is busy at the moment.

"fuck they left me alone in here. how dare you to leave the most dangerous and powerful man of this city in the middle of nowhere with no transportation."

Arturo calls Daisuke again and again until he answers. Arturo tells him what happen and Daisuke tells him that he is going to be there soon. Arturo feels joy to have such a good friend. Daisuke tells him that he lost his car keys and he hangs up. Arturo curses his friend and he feels desperation. at the end he decided to walk.

Arturo arrived at his home like four hours later and when he was about to sleep Daisuke calls him but Arturo is so angry that he turns his phone off. he looks at the roof and he thinks about his sweet and gorgeous other half.

like four hours ago outside of the restaurant.....

Fumiko and Jurgen are getting inside of the car. Jurgen asks her if she liked the place. Fumiko smiles and she tells him that they need to keep investigating the case on their hands before the captain gets angry at them and yields at them for hours. Jurgen smiles and he drives around of the city in search of an abandoned place in which the Bandit Cadaver was seen entering before with a corpse.

Jurgen receives a call from Malcolm. he is at first afraid of answering but he knows that if he doesn't answer he is going to be in serious problems. Jurgen answers and he tries to talk about the view of the city and the place in which he buys coffee. Malcolm yields at him asking him why haven't he call on the whole day and worry about Fumiko's well being. Jurgen gives the phone to Fumiko. his hands are shaking nervously.

Fumiko talks to her boss about her day. Jurgen looks at her face for a moment and he feels a heartbeat. he looks directly at the street and he stops abruptly when he looks at an empty old building that seems to have the description that was given to him about the place in which the corpse thief has been seen. Jurgen gets out of the car and he checks if his gun is loaded before walking slowly inside of the building.

"wait for me, partner."

said Fumiko in a tone that sounded almost like a whisper.

"be careful. we don't know what we might find."

said Jurgen with a gut feeling guiding him.

"how many cases had you solved? sorry if I keep asking the same question again, and again."

"too many. too damn many criminals that I had taken to a walk between a jail cell and a hospital bed."

at the moment in a cemetery...

the Bandit Cadaver is digging trying to take a coffin out. he looks at the tombstone and he reads the name. he hears the whispers of the dead calling him and asking him for help. Bandit Cadaver cries in desperation feeling the impotence of not been capable of helping those whom had been his friends in his days of solitude. he asks himself why is that he can hear the wailing of the dead but he can't do anything about it.

he stops digging and he falls on his knees. he looks up at the sky asking for a sign to know if he is meant to help the dead with his powers or if his powers are just a coincidence of reality and nothing more. he wants to believe that the reason why he can communicate with the dead is because his destiny is to help them.

he cries while he puts his face on the soil and with his hands he touches and feels the soil trying to feel close to those he calls friends. he feels a drop of water falling on his cheek. he looks up at the sky turning gray while it starts to rain. he closes his eyes and he raises his arms to feel the rain that he sees as a sign that his power is meant for greater things.

his tears are mixed with the rain. he screams letting know the sky that he accepted his faith and that he is ready to do whatever it takes to fulfill his duty as the messenger in between the living and the dead. he stands up with his clothes all covered in dirt and water. he walks slowly towards a tombstone that he touches.

"I feel the power of the world at my side. I feel that the world has chosen me to care for you and to create a way for you to communicate once more."

there are hundreds of ghost behind him. some of those ghost are holding his arms or legs. one female ghost with care is hugging him from behind. he has such power that every spirit sees him as a leader to follow. he might not be aware but he can easily become the king of the dead.
