The First Session

Galen felt too energized to get any sleep.

Since he had decided it would be a wise idea to ask Ebari to meditate with him, he was a mess of nerves and excitement. He didn't want to be like that. He felt the same way a teenager did when going on a first date. It didn't fit the man in his late twenties who looked back at him whenever he looked in the mirror.

Based on the emperor's response to him, he could only guess that the man hadn't heard his plea to use him to forget Kruos.

Galen had to constantly remind himself that Ebari needed a friend and nothing more. That's all he would try to be to him. If Ebari just so happened to find him attractive going forward then he wouldn't complain.

Waking up even before the light yellow sun, Galen fit in a training session before showering in the bathrooms inside of the gyms and getting dressed - taking great care to make sure there was no evidence of sweat from his workout.
