Sangonomiya Kokomi, priestess of Watatsumi Island was a woman who lived in routine. Even while waging a civil war agaisnt her regional god, she still religiously tried to keep to a routine so that in her scant free time she could properly hide away and read her beloved strategy books before going to falling asleep with the book.
So when she woke up in the hidden cave where she kept her library of strategy books she froze at the sight of the literal god of said land floating in the air with her legs sitting almost in a meditative position not but a couple meters in front of her.
"You are awake." The Raiden Shogun stated bluntly as her eyes cracked open to stare at the Watasumi priestess of the deceased serpent god.
To which Kokomi could only take a deep breath and say. "You left your palace... For the first time in literally centuries. Should I feel proud that you came to kill me?" She finished with a wry smile.
But the Raiden Shogun only tilted her head to the side blankly before saying flatly. "I did not come to kill you. I came to tell you the civil war is over. The Vision Hunt Decree is over and Kujou Sara and my elite guard are delivering all the Visions back to their original owners."
Sangonomiya Kokomi, a master strategist who had led the rebellions against Narukami Island's forces stilled as her sharpened mind dulled by sleep and the bombshell dropped on her could only give the enlightened answer of. "Huh?"
And to which the Raiden Shogun nodded saying quickly. "Good, now there will be no formal surrender or victory on either side as I am well aware of the pride of both our peoples, especially with your status as that serpent's priestess."
The Raiden Shogun's eyes were their duller form meaning that it was just the Raiden Shogun doing this interaction but Kokomi didn't know that and was just honestly confused and thought she was still sleeping so she stabbed her fingernail into another finger and realizing that this was very much not a dream she was still very confused!
"Ah, my disciple was the one to demand this peace for a great deed he did for me. He also gave me a message to deliver to you." The words made Kokomi's face twitch as the memory of the Travelers hit her memory and how she tried to bribe them to help her forces.
"Yes, he wants the spares of my spear and sword that your forces stole from my palace after having a girl with a fetish for fireworks to cause a distraction," Raiden said with a spark of lightning entering her eyes that made Kokomi unsettled before the Shogun relaxed.
There was a long few moments of silence as Kokomi tried to collect her thoughts and then she exhaled and said. "Very well... With the end of the Vision Hunt Decree and you yourself coming out of your shell and the palace. Then the resistance's main goals have all been met. I will have the Watatsumi Army stand down."
And with that all said the Raiden Shogun nodded and spoke with finality. "Very well. Have the Nekomata Youkai Kiara deliver the weapons to my palace so that it will be there in the next couple of days."
A harsh crackle of lightning burst out and Kokomi covered her eyes as the Raiden Shogun seemingly turned herself into a bolt of lightning that disappeared into nothingness as she teleported away... But not before leaving a nice large lightning burn scar on the stone ground of her private hideaway.

Across the islands of Inazuma on the southernmost island of Seirai Island within the Inazuma branch of Fatui two harbingers were sitting together as they went over their plans to acquire the Electro Gnosis. First was the voluptuous blond in Signora and across a planning table filled with documents was the cross-armed figure of a shorter boyish figure that had a large hat with veils hanging over that shaded his faces features.
"The Shogun coming out of the palace and ending the Civil War was not in our plans... Our plan to further inflame the war by supplying the Resistance with low-grade delusions won't work." Singora spoke as she took in the information their Fatui spies and legitimate Sneznahya citizens of Inazuma had gathered.
"I told you, we should have killed those two Travelers after Childe got crippled in Liyue. Morax has found a new hobby in throwing mountains of stone onto any camps we have in Liyue or even on the borders without care if it angers Sumeru and Fontaine." The hat-covered figure spoke with disdain.
La Signora the Harbinger looked at her fellow Harbinger in slight anger with her eternal flames rising up before she snorted and said. "And you spent all that time in which I was the only one to succeed in getting a Gnosis doing what? Chasing after an odd meteor little Balladeer?"
The Balladeer or Scaramouche of the Fatui snorted and said dryly. "Yes. You took Barbatos's Gnosis in a sneak attack after the useless bard was drunk... But you still failed to get the gnosis from Morax."
And the wielder of the eternal flame's face twitched as she snarled out. "It was that fool Childe's fault! Not only did he use his contacts with the Abyss to recruit an army of monsters but he even helped unseal two gods that were hostile to Morax! With Morax also being angry about how the Tsaritsa snatching the soul of one of his closest friends from the Archon war. With so much bad blood, how the hell can I negotiate for his gnosis?!" She demanded in utter exasperation.
As she was Sumeru Akademiya's greatest prodigy period she had literally made herself immortal! She was wrathful, spiteful, and hated the very gods, but she wasn't stupid by any means. She knew she had no chance in taking Morax's gnosis by force and thus Pattalone the more level-headed diplomat of the Fatui was working to get the gnosis from Morax.
The room went silent before Scaramouche spoke up frankly. "Regardless of all your excuses, the fact remains that we need a new avenue to get the Electro Gnosis from the Raiden Shogun."
To which Signora nodded slowly before an odd smile crossed her face and she looked at the Balladeer deeply and said sadistically. "Oh... And how does it feel for mommy dearest to take in a new beloved disciple and change her eternal mind on the Vision Hunt Decree and the Civil War?"
The room was filled with a dark tension as Scaramouche looked at Signora's face and then slowly said no emotion in his voice. "You say something like that again... And the Fatui will be down a Harbinger either way, are we clear?"
His only answer was an enigmatic smile from the blond beauty who just took a sip of some wine.
