CHAPTER 8:

For the first time ever, someone had been able to leave Xu Yizhou speechless.

Earlier, he got a call saying that Xiao Yen's car had exploded so he rushed only find out the girl that he had been tirelessly looking for was Ye Tinglan, the undisputed mercenary king. Ye Tinglan was only logged into the black market about six months ago and in that short time space she had earned this title.

Liu Sheng run to the car and got in. "Drive!", she ordered and car sped away.

After the car had completely left that place, only then did Liu Sheng breathe a sigh of relief.

Actually tonight, she didn't know why she told them that she was Ye Tinglan. She had given up on that identity weeks ago. When people had started looking for her real identity, her grandpa had asked her stop it because it was posing as a threat to her life. You know what they say; 'the higher you go, the more enemies you get".

Hopefully, she'll never have to use it again because she was not planning on meeting them any time soon.

She went home and took a nice warm bath and went to sleep. She had important meeting with the CEO of the Xu Group tomorrow.

The next morning at 5am, she got up and did her usual two hour training and then went to take a bath.

She apply very light makeup and chose a cobalt blue designer wear. It had a fitting top with no hands that reached her mid thigh and a fitting pants. The upper part of the cloth had a one-hand long sleeve suit on it. The one-hand cross suit left her left hand bare and covered her right hand. The no-hand top was actually a light shade of blue with cobalt lines in it and the suit and pant were cobalt blue.

She also wore a cobalt blue heels with a pair of shiny blue shade. And added a blue Louis Vutton bag. Liu Sheng was now the kind of person who dressed according to her mood. She even styled her hair into seaweed curls.

She went downstairs and met Mu Ma arranging the dishes on the dining table. "Good morning, Miss. Breakfast is ready ".

"Woah Mu Ma, you might have made too much. And anyway, I'm in a hurry. There's a lot of work that I need to finish before I go for a meeting this afternoon ".

"Oh come on Miss, just eat a little ".

"No I need to go but I promise to let you feed me as much as you want when I come back home tonight. Until then bye", Liu Sheng said and rushed out before Mu Ma could say anything else.

In Xu Group...

At 12:15pm...

Xiao Yen rushed into Xu Yizhou's office. "Young Master, the new CEO and sole owner of Shengsheng Group is finally here".

"Got it ", Xu Yizhou said. For some reason since morning, he has been anticipating to meet this woman. And it's funny how he was even nervous.

At the same time, Liu Sheng had entered the building. The moment she entered all eyes were on her. Everyone wanted to know who this stunning beauty is.

She had milk smooth snow white skin. A very slender and curvy body. A slender swan like neck. And very long, even though she had made her hair into seaweed curls, it reached down her waist.

She did not say a word since she entered and two claded men followed her along with another guy who had a very sharp but delicate face. He was pretty handsome.

"We're here to see the CEO of this company. Tell him Miss Liu Sheng has arrived ", Yan Juncheng said indifferent to the blushing receptionist.

"O-ok. R-right away sir", and then she picked up the phone and talked to someone, "right this way Madam".

The Receptionist led them to the door of an office and then left. As she entered the manager rushed in to tell Xu Yizhou that Miss Liu Sheng was here and Xiao Yen lead Liu Sheng into the office. "Right this way Miss".

"Miss Liu Sheng is here Young Master ", as always Yan Juncheng had to enter the room before Liu Sheng as to protect her from any danger in that room. But as Yan Juncheng moved out of the way and Liu Sheng saw the CEO, she immediately recognised him. He was the guy she had saved in that alley. But she didn't let that affect her composure. She stood there, calm and expressionless like this was her first time seeing him.

As Xiao Yen opened the door, Xu Yizhou stood up to greet his guest. It wasn't that she was more powerful than him, of course not. When it came to status she wasn't anywhere near him. It's just that he had immense respect for her grandfather and he was just extending that respect to her.

A man came in and moved aside as a small slender figure came into view. She had a very small and delicate face. Eyebrows as distant as two mountains, hazelnut shaped eyes, soft red lips. She was stunning.

As she took of her shades and a wierd emotion passed through her eyes but it too fast to catch.

Her eyes looked very familiar. Those green catlike eyes looked alot like Ye Tinglan's.

"She walked elegantly towards and greeted him and extended her right hand to greet. "Good morning and it a pleasure to meet meet the Fifth Young Master of the Xu family ".

Xu Yizhou gladly shook her hand back, "The pleasure is all mine. Please let's take a seat".

"It really amazing and good that Liu Sheng really the to follow in the footsteps of Old Master Fu and complete his wishes".

"Thanks. Can I please the file before I sign it?", Liu Sheng said indifferently. She wasn't planning on signing a contract without reading first just because some guy says her grandpa has gone through.

"Of course ", Xu Yizhou said and handed her file. He sat there patiently and observed her as she went through the contract. She held the file in her right hand and was tapping on the desk rhythmical with her slender left finger. That's the ring she was on left index finger. It was same Ye Tinglan was wearing.

A blue sapphire ring with a phoenix totem on it. But he still couldn't see her tattoo. Because it was on her inner wrist and was very small. And she had placed that part of her wrist on the table. He still needed to verify as to not offend her.
