CHAPTER 7:

After taking Mu Ma to the new villa, she gave her some instructions and left. Today was the day she was going to meet her grandpa.

After 20 minutes of driving, Yan Juncheng finally stopped in front of Blue Stardust Hotel. "Young Miss, the Old Master is in room 409. He's waiting for you".

"Okay, wait for me here".

She knew Blue Stardust Hotel very well. She used to work here after school during a time when Liu Yaochen refused to give her any money or food because Liu Wei Yan accused her of stealing.

She took 2 left turns and entered room 409. There, she saw an old man in the room. He had very long hair which was all grey and shiny. He had a straight composure and a strong aura. Even though he was pretty old he still had his calm and noble aura and composure.

When he turned and saw Liu Sheng, his frown turned into a big and sincere smile. "My Ah Rao is finally here. Come and give grandpa a hug".

Liu Sheng was dumbfounded. She could not find her words for some time. Finally, she found words and whispered in tears, "Grandpa ".

"Meeting your grandpa after all these years and all you can do is just stand there?", The old man said and opened his arms. And Liu Sheng gladly jumped into his embrace. "Where have you been all these years. Do you know how much I've been missing my grandpa. I can't wait everyone that I've finally found my grandpa ".

Hearing this, the old man's expression softened even more." I'm so sorry Ah Rao but you can't tell anyone about me it must still be kept secret. As long as you are not ready to accept your identity and that you are not a member of the Liu family, I'm afraid you can't tell anyone".

Don't worry grandpa, I understand. I was just caught up in the moment ".

Saying this made the old man laugh wholeheartedly. "You know I can't accept anyone who treats my Shengsheng badly. Now tell grandpa what you've been up to during all these years ".

Hearing this, Liu Sheng didn't hold back. He told everything including the torture she went through in the hands of the Liu family. This made the Old Master very angry. He even felt like destroying them. Even though he had moulded the Liu into what they are today. And is still technically family.

After spending some time with her grandpa, Liu Sheng left the hotel. It was already pitch black outside when she got into her car.

Halfway home, Liu Sheng heared an explosion. She followed her gut feeling and asked Yan Juncheng to drive to the direction of the explosion; which he hesitantly did.

Yan Juncheng was smart enough to park the car a little farther from the monstrous scene. Liu tied a scarf to her face and got out of the car.

Seeing Yan Juncheng was going to follow her Liu Sheng instructed him to cover his face which he hurried did. They moved inconspicuously through the night, barely being seen. As they got close they saw the brutal scene.

A man wearing a a white t-shirt which was now soaked in blood was lying there, half dead, and surrounded by about fifteen assassins. "Hey, just give us the briefcase and we'll be on our way".

As Liu Sheng looked closer, she saw that the young man had handcuffed a black briefcase to his hand refusing to let it go. This briefcase seemed to be very important to him.

"Hey, hurry up with the knife and let's just cut off his hand. It'll make things much easier for us", one of assassins shouted as someone brought him a very sharp knife.

Seeing these how brave, faithful this young man was to whoever his employer was, she couldn't just sit there and watch them harm him anymore.

"Go back to the car and wait for me", Liu Sheng sent an order to Yan Juncheng who obediently left because he knew his master was skilled in both fighting and paralysing acupuncture techniques.

"Don't you dare lay another finger on him or else", Liu Sheng ordered with a very commanding voice as she sprinted out of the darkness and landed in front of the half dead man.

"Hehehe, looks like this job will be quite fun. We have a little beauty to enjoy after we're done with him", one of the assassins said.

"Yeah this is what I like to call an overpaid bonus" , the other continued.

"See I'm a woman of few words and I don't like to repeat myself", Liu Sheng said as she played with her needles. Luckily she brought about twenty of them so it'd come in handy.

"She's fiesty one too", chuckled one of the assassins.

Before anyone of them could say anything, a gust of wind passed them and their whole body went numb with pain. They could a strange yet very powerful and painful heat erupt in them. She had inserted a needle each in their acupoints and so they wouldn't be able to move for an hour or two.

She then inserted some needles in the young man's acupoints to wake him up and worked.

When Xiao Yen woke up the first he said was, "W-Who are you".

"You're welcome. And who I am I can say", Liu Sheng got and prepared to leave.

"Who are you? Just give us a name ", a stern voice sounded from behind. Liu Sheng quickly remembered him to be the man she save not very long ago.

Even though her face was covered Xu Yizhou could feel her smirking from underneath her mask. She decided to help them release little stress. "You could call me Ye Tinglan", and then she disappeared into the shadows, once again inconspicuous
