1. Adventure

Marcus played in the garden while his mother was doing chores in the kitchen. He was enjoying the nice weather (it had been a while since he was able to play outside because of it) . A strong wind was blowing but he didn't mind.

He tossed his ball in the air as he thought about what to play next.

It was difficult to decide since he was alone. Suddenly the wind blew his ball into the forest.

He was allowed to explore the forest since there were no dangerous animals and he knew the forest at the back of his hand.

"Mom I am going to play in the forest."

"Be careful and come back before dinner." came the reply.

So he pushed open the gate and remembered to close it.Then he waddled down the path looking for an adventure.

He found many different herbs, mushrooms and flowers.He even spotted some of his mother's favorite flowers .

He reminded himself not to get distracted.He was out on an adventure and a great one at that .

He spotted his ball and tossed it oner the gate before he forgot. Then onwards he trutted towards his favorite pond to catch frogs.

He heard some rustling but he ignored it. Then he saw a snake ( why is there a snake in this forest?) . He was a little worried but the snake seemed to ignore him .

He shrugged it off and thought to tell his mother about it later.

Finally he reached the pond
