I am unsure how to reply to that, so I didn't, I doubt he wants to hear any half-hearted apology, and trying to appeal to him by showing any sympathy just felt condescending, but at the same time I didn't want to seem insensitive by further pushing the conversation on his eyes so I should have changed it, but I was far too fascinated by the idea of Vampires having disabilities when in every depiction of them they are shown as these perfect beings that had everything.
"Have you always been…?" I trailed off because my questions might come off as rude, especially to someone I juts met
"Blind?, It's alright, you can say it, Yes I've always been blind, I was born that way, shocked aren't you?, To see a vampire born with a disability?"
"Yes, I must say it is, I bet you get that question a lot?"
"No actually, most of the people I converse with are far too busy dying to ask any questions, and the others, well, they aren't much for conversation"
