Jack heard Tatiana's phone ring, she had left to get him some water. He moved to grab it before it could wake Gabriel up.

"Why are you calling" he picked up.

"Well, I guess it's true you two must have made up" Eric smiled.

Jack adjusted himself, "We did but why are you calling us instead of enjoying your honeymoon?"

Eric frowned noticing his discomfort and the attire he was dressed in.

"Wait before we go ahead, are you in a hospital," he asked.

Patricia appeared on the screen and looked at Jack's surroundings.

"Why are you in there?" she yelled. "Did something bad happen to you"?

Jack chuckled moving the phone to the sleeping boy, "Can you lower your voice, my son is sleeping"

"Just answer the question, what happened?" Eric asked

Jack sighed.

The door to his room opened and Tatiana walked in.

"Who are you talking to? "she asked seeing him on the phone. He mouthed Eric's name and she paused. But Patrica had noticed his action and called her friend's name.

"She wants to talk to you, "he said trying to give the phone to her. She moved back shaking her head. He laughed," We can't lie to them now, come on get the phone "

She sighed taking it from him. " Hi, guys, how is the honeymoon going "she poised a smile.

"Don't give me that fake smile of yours and tell me what happened "Patrica yelled.

"Can you come down or are you going to wake up my son? "she said.

Jack smiled gazing at Gabriel," I said the same thing but she doesn't listen "

Eric spoke up too," Tatiana tell us what happened to my friend, why is he laying in a hospital bed "

She glanced at Jack and then back at the screen.

"Okay, I will tell you guys, but promise me not to freak out and cut short our honeymoon, "she said.

"Okay, "she told them everything and how they decided not to tell them.

"WHAT? we are packing our bags now and returning "Patrica said.

"Let me get to it right now, "Eric said getting up.

"But you promised not to overreact, "Tatiana said.

Tatiana sighed," I guess their honeymoon just ended like that "

"Don't worry she will understand after you explain. "Jack said.

"I know but I feel bad now for hiding it from them now "

He pulled her closer," You thought it was the right thing to do so don't worry. At least their wedding night wasn't destroyed".

She chuckled We'll it's because you took the bullets instead of me or Patrica"

"And am still glad I did, so don't worry when they get here am going to make sure they pity us instead of anger"

"You better or Patrica and Eric won't spare us even with you in this condition"

He nodded, "Now come lay down you have been working and taking care of me, you must be exhausted" he moved to make space for her in the bed. She didn't hesitate and laid down next to him. He smiled, "Can we sleep like this the three of us even when we get back home?"

"Let me think about" she chuckled.

"Can you just say yes and not think right now about such stuff"

"Am going to sleep now?" she said closing her eyes.

He sighed pulling her closer.
