After the speeches, the guests headed to the dance floor with the newlyweds. Apart from Tatiana and the two men next to her.

Steve finished his drink and got up, "Ana love join me for a dance" he said.

She smiled, "Sure" taking his hand.

Jack frowned, he could not get up the cause of his son who was sleeping in his arms. And seeing Steve take that chance made him angry.

"I thought he gave up why is he acting like he wants her back" he muttered watching them dance.

"I see this is making Gabriel's father uncomfortable" Steve chuckled.

Tatiana glanced at the frowning Jack and smiled, "Let him be, it's my best friend's wedding I need to enjoy it".

"How is everything going between you two?" he asked.

She sighed, "Okay I guess".

"You guess? So your not sure yet about giving him another chance or you already did but are afraid to take another step" Steve asked.

"I don't know... he been trying and I see it but something keeps pulling me back from that step" she let out.

"You scared Ana and it's okay to be. After what happened in the past I understand but I think he has proved to you more than once that he wants you back" Steve smiled, "so I think he will understand you if you let him know how you feel before you take another step with him".

"Am scared that if he knows what I think of him he will give up and finally see me for what I became, a greedy self-centred woman". She said.

Steve laughed, "Tatiana, who said you were greedy or self-centred? You're the most selfless person I know, yes the pain from the past might have changed something in you but you are still the same person. That's why he still loves you even when you keep showing him new sides to you he never knew"

"But what if he does the same thing he did in the past?".

He looked down at her, "What does your heart tell you when you look at Jack".

She moved her eyes to Jack, who was covering their sleeping son with his coat now. He seemed to be worried about him being outside like that.

She smiled, "I see a different Jack. Since I met him again a lot of things were different about him and with Gabriel has been giving his all to be the best father he could ever be".

"See you now have the answer, after what happened in the past he can't do what he did again, he can't risk losing you or his son again. He must have gone through agony as you did while apart from each other. So instead of shying away try giving him chance and see if his fully a changed man and if he was lying to you again, then don't hold back on your revenge"

She turned away and back to Steve, "I feel like my heart isn't ready for it"

"Your heart is, it's just you holding yourself back. I want you to be happy Ana" Steve whispered in her ear, "So take the chance before it's too late," he said.
