"Why should I, I lost everything after my brother died but you gained a better life instead, so I can't let you live," he said.

Her tears were blinding her, but she noticed something more behind her attacker and hit him hard in the back, he groaned in pain and fell off her.

"Get away from her you bastard" a voice yelled.

She got up holding her neck as she cried, turning to see who had saved her.

"Jack" she cried, he moved to her opening his arms to hold her. She fell into his embrace, crying in fear. "He was going to kill me" she cried.

"He won't, am here," he said holding her.

The unconscious man was taken away by police after being informed about his appearance at the hospital.

Taken still glued to Jack looked up from his embrace, she had refused to let him go even when they were now safely inside the hospital.

Eric and Patrica had returned to see the police taking away the bleeding man. Jack passed them too carrying Tatiana in his arms.

They noticed the blood on her fingers and panicked following him.

He told them briefly what had happened as the doctor led him to his examination room to help the bleeding Tatiana.

"Tati, you need to let go so the doctor will treat you," he said calmly she was still in his arms as they sat down in the room

She looked up letting go of her cut, the doctor gently treated it while she held onto Jack's shirt.

"Done," the doctor said turned to Jack, "that was very brave of you Mr Avil saving your girlfriend"

Jack nodded carrying Tatiana out of the room, "thank you doctor" her said.

Alex and Mark were waiting outside with Patricia and Eric.

"Is she okay?" they asked

"She's fine, just still terrified," he said walking off.

They watched him go and Eric sighed, "Those two just can't stop giving us a headache"

"I wonder where Steve was while all this happened," Patricia asked.

"He was with her when we left so why did he leave her alone out there," Alex asked.

"Maybe he went to bring her something?" said Mark.

"Then he would be here right now with us, wondering how he's going to separate those two cause something seems off between them," said Patricia.
