Her mother was quiet as they drove back to her place. For the next few days, she didn't say a word even when spoken to. She would nod or blink but didn't speak.
"Should we take her to her doctor, she seems depressed?" Patricia said
"I know but she didn't answer me when I suggested it. Am worried about her "
"Is this why you were scared of telling her ?" Alex said.
"Yes, but now that she knows I don't know what to do " Tatiana sighed.
The next day to walked up to mother, "Mom, we are heading to the home to pack our stuff and bring them here " she said.
Her mother looked up and a tear dropped, "Don't worth I will handle everything and when I return we will go on a trip just you and me and your grandchild " she said.
Her mother smiled hugging her, "I love you so much my daughter, do never forget that "
"I know mother and I love you too," she said.
They left her sleeping in her room and drove off to the ranch.
Eric had helped find jobs for the workers in other places while Alex offered to buy the horses so her friend would be able to see them since they were the closest to Tatiana.
The moving cars arrived and started packing all the stuff in the house. All her childhood memories were inside that house but now just like that it was all taken away.
She held back her tears and supervised the packing then said goodbye to the workers...
It was late in the evening when they finally arrived home.
"Mother, we are back. I have some gifts from the workers " she said walking in.
"And some money too " shouted Patricia.
"Mother " she called again but didn't get any answer
"Maybe she's sleeping," said Patrica
"But we left her asleep, is she sick ?" Alex asked walking with Tatiana to the room.
To her dismay, her mother was on the floor unconscious.
"Mother " she ran to her side. Alex turned to Patricia "Call the ambulance, now "
Tatiana was crying as her mother was wheeled into the ambulance.
Alex held her back, "Let Patricia go with them, let's drive my car," she said.
The stress wasn't good for her pregnancy but she didn't care now with her mother in such a condition.
They arrived later at the hospital, and Patrica turned to Tatiana.
"The doctor said it might be a heart attack " she cried.
Tatiana felt her legs get weak and dropped to the floor. Her friend caught her.
"Don't worry she will be fine " Alex and Patricia encouraged her.
