Chapter 1

Quite confused she entered a new city and a new world.

A girl of above-average height, Not a skinny one by all means but fit and had fat in all the right places and an almond-shaped face with a sharp and pointy describing her personality even before she had to say a word.

Amara Li had grown up in a micro family, being an only child she was extraordinarily close to her parents. They had always been her champions and supporters. In a world where parents decided what the children would do Amara was privileged in the sense of having absolute freedom.

It was only her both Son and daughter to her parents. She had always been a talkative kid who was used to blurting out every detail of her day the minute she got home. This move for the university was going to be a surprisingly painful experience. A choice her parents suggested against but she choose in an attempt to get closer to her goals.

Starting from her home in City H she was excited and looking forward to it. But, now that she was here in City A and had stepped into the campus she had started to get nervous. Somehow a fear of acceptance and confusion had slowly started creeping in.

Mrs.Li had been a strong woman she had already shed her tears and was busy trying to get her daughter a room. Amara had not really known any of the other students who were going to attend this college. She entered an empty dorm, meant to accommodate 3 girls she was the first.

Choosing her bed she set her things down and took a breath and the surroundings in. Meanwhile, Mrs.Li started to set up the small wooden cupboard that was meant for her daughter. The room was not the biggest, a small room with 3 single cots and a table each for all the girls who were ment to occupy it.

With one the beds against one wall, Wardrobes stacked against the other there was just enough space for people to walk and maybe leave a few things around.

The huge glass window at one end of the room led a gush of sunlight and wind into the room. The campus was close to the sea, making humid and windy. Slowly taking all of the images and her new home in Amara heard a grumbling sound. It was already lunchtime, they had spent over 5 hrs already trying to enroll and settle in into the Dorm.

The Li family decided it was time to go for Lunch, locking up and holding the keys of her new home for the next couple of years. They left.
