Is Everything Okay?

Isaac enjoyed his time with Whitney and dreaming about the future over the next few months but, as her death date approached, he couldn't deny he was nervous. He had changed things enough that it wouldn't happen again, hadn't he?

He wondered if he should have moved since the accident happened so close to his apartment complex but his lease wouldn't be up until April and she would question why he wanted to move so suddenly. It should be fine as long as she didn't go outside that night. 

That had been his original plan. Before getting involved with Whitney romantically, he had been planning to wait out the year and then pull her out of the way before the car came and leave it at that. She could have gone on living her life and he could have kept watching her from a distance the way things had always been.
