Death And Awakening

Alex felt like stabbing himself in the throat. He still didn't want to believe Damon and the latter decided to show him a drawn image of Arthur. That was when Alex knew that he could not run away from the truth. 

"Why... Why did he kill my parents and offer to help me? Tell me!" He yelled while holding his chest, pain was eating through him. Was this the feeling of regret Atticus talked about? He told him he would handle it just fine but look at him now...

"The ancient bloodline that was passed down to you by your mother. It's what he is after," Damon announced to him.

"W-what!" Alex shuddered. He remembered the day he met Arthur, how could someone that he just met know about the ancient bloodline? "So this is it?" He mumbled and lowered his head. All this while... The person he thought to be a friend, a savior, was actually the devil behind his suffering.
