Chapter Twelve

7 am rolls around and Choon-Hee is startled awake by her phone line ringing. Hana was supposed to wake her up in an hour so she could go back to work. Choon-Hee checked the time as she lifted her head off the desk. She quickly woke up and answered the phone thinking it could be one of the La members.

"Hello, this is Shin Choon-Hee."

"Hello, Ms. Shin. I'm Won Haru." Won Haru? That wasn't one of the members, was it? "I'm from headquarters." Headquarters?!

"Oh, I see. Hello."

"You've been requested to the 10th floor by my boss." Choon-Hee's face paled. Did she do something wrong?

"Oh, okay…" Choon-Hee said. "I'll be there shortly."

"Thank you Ms. Shin." Choon-Hee placed the phone back in the hold and all the energy she just regained left her body.

"What? What? Who was it?" Hana asked as she noticed Choon-Hee's state. She was even paler than usual.

"Headquarters…" Choon-Hee said.

"HEADQUARTERS?!" Hana exclaimed. "What did you do?!"

"I don't know!"
