John Wellington, the chief of the test committee, was clearly flustered. He calmed himself and tried to explain himself, "We checked the whole mountain two months prior. After we found the Puppas' nest, we became even more careful in checking the place for stronger monsters, but there was nothing. No accidents or appearance of these monsters. I am sure this was planned by someone."
John wanted to explain more but Luca already cut him off, telling him to stop, "Enough. Tell the rest of the story to the investigator. You would be held accountable for this mess. You can get out."
The man's breath hitched at what Luca said, "Please, trust me, general. Someone had planned everything to drag me down."
Luca totally ignored the man's plea. His eyes were scanning the document in his hand casually like John was not there.
