The silence was suffocating and thick. Irene looked at Bridgette who also looked at her with hesitation. She looked unsure about this. This might be the rare time she had to make a decision by herself. Bridgette always seemed like a strong and proud woman, but that only covered indecisiveness.
Irene regretted this a bit since she was the one to blame for this. Her controlling attitude that she got from the military did not go after she had a child. She was hard on her and always telling what was right. Married to Marcus did not help at all because all the important decisions were in Marcus's hand.
Bridgette never had the pressure to make the decision. She was always so afraid to make the wrong decision. Even until now, she still relly on her mother to make decision for her.
