Damn!
She did not know what hit her.
As in, she had no idea.
The last thing she remembered was getting ready to attack her abductor. But it seemed she lost her memory of what happened next.
Then, she woke up in this crappy room with no recollection of how she got there. But her spinning headache might be an indication of foul play.
"Hey, is anybody out there?" She shouted when she heard a wood creaking from behind the closed door.
It was almost noon with the sun already high in the sky, but nobody had shown up since she had awakened a few hours earlier.
She had tossed and turned on the old, creaky, and stiff bed for an hour before she gave up on sleep. Now, she could only stare at the old, rustic wooden door that impeded her from running to her freedom.
"I know you are out there." Again, she heard a commotion on the other side, probably coming from the hallway. However, nobody bothered to answer her.
