That was dan makenzie's van , he knew the man drove that van sometimes , he kept his eyes on them too, he could not sleep easy knowing dee in his heart they were all here watching him.

Antonio has been trailing him after he left London, it was like he knew he had amber with him and he was going to uncover the truth.

As he poured himself a cup of juice and then walked to wards the living area he sat in the darkness and sipped his juice.

He was not going to sleep early he had to be awake he said to himself , it was the way it was for him , once his sleep was interrupted he would not be able to sleep any longer.

He stayed there for a while after finishing his glass , he soon fell asleep waking up the next morning with puffy eyes , he had slept when it was almost daybreak and he did not like how his body ached.

He stood up and went to the window again and the van was still there.

They are all here for the baby and the mama he smiled to himself.

he would just have to make sure, they got what they wanted.

He got dressed and went to work he has a lot to do and so he got busy , he had missed all the work for the past week and so he needed to catch up with work.

Philip had done as he asked and the list was on the table when he entered the office and began his work..

As he sat and took off his suit and adjusted his tie he looked at the piece of paper and thought to himself , why was Philips name on it.

Philip could have just asked yesterday if he wanted to know if he was part of those being cut of from the new venture.

Or was this a test to see if he was still in the trust game?

Carl dialled his cell and when he picked , he said see me in my office.

Then he hung the phone and continued all he was doing , he passed the list to his secretary and the remuneration for their service was hinted before each name.

He did leave Philips name out for the time being.

After their chat he would know what to do.

There was a light knock on the door and when Philip  opened the door , carl dropped all he was doing and said to him.

What do you want Philip!? He asked with a plain expression plastered on his face.

"You just called me" he replied.

Yes I did call you but I want to make you what you want for your long term of service.

You have served us well and you want to leave , so I deemed it appropriate that you are well compensated.

Carl said with a smile on his face , he knew what game he was playing but he doubt if Philip knew too.
