So The police informs jieun that her parents have met an accident and they are both dead ,it happened when they were planning to visit jieun. She breaks down after receiving the news of her dead parents and rushes to see them.

On the day of her parents funeral she promises to take care of her only brother and weeps silently . after 2 days she visits her parents apartment to collect her parents belongings and to send his brother in a boys hostel.So while arranging the stuffs she finds a box containing letters and some things belonging to her mother ,from her mothers wardrobe .She takes all the things with her and sets the box in the table to read it through curiosity. She goes through all the letter about banks,etc and at the bottom she sees an old letter send to her mother by a women named Meijin ,

The letter says ,

"Dear Moonyeong,

It's been 18 years since our friendship began and today I ask for the favour I have been saving it for years , I have a daughter by the name Jieun ,she is 2 years old, Her father didn't accepted me and I don't have any choice but to hand her over to you as my parents arranged me a marriage and they don't know about my daughter . So please take care of my daughter ,I'll come and take her away as soon as I explain to my new husband and I'll make sure to repay you one day ."

Jieun after reading it and realising that she was adopted breaks down anf falls down on her knees .The tears forms in her eyes and continuously sobs Because all along she thought they were her real parents but the fact pierced her heart who had abandoned her .Then a photo falls from behind the letter Revealing 3 young lady which one of them is her dead mother and the other two she can't recognise them but she assumes that one of them would be her mother . She stands up on her feet and decides to look for her Real mother when she finds free time and investigate in police station as she never saw and doesn't have any idea where she is so the police can be of help .

The next day she goes inside the office where the co-workers were planning for a trip in a village and campaigning for 3 days .They all agreed on that plan and informs all that they would be moving tomorrow and will be paired as one girl and one boy . They even made everyone aware to bring the necessities things and warm clothes as much as possible as the place was pretty cold .
