Mrs Kim picks a date to meet jieun and she also requests his son to attend as well.He initially hesitates but later on gives up after jieun convinces him to come along because of mrs kim.They all meets up at a resturant ,jieun sees Mrs kim and waves at her and takes a sit next to her and Mr kim comes inside too and he sits down opposite to mrs kim .Jieun starts the topic by asking why she decided to help her and what really happened to her real mother. Mrs kim gives her a smile and speaks that jieun is like a daughter to her because her mothers and mrs kim were best friend during their days and she cant help it but to accept her as her own and they even promised that they would marry off their sons and daughters if they ever had one . mrs kim also talks about How she wanted to leave and stop jieun's mother from leaving her daughter to their other friend but she thought his son was more important that time so She droped his son into the broading school to wave bye and she wanted his son to grow more stronger and independent so he doesnt have to care about friends and live for himslef .Mrs kim always blamed herself for the seperation of their friendship.

After hearing all this Mr kim hearts softens for his mother who is crying siliently and wiping her tears away , mr kim leans towards her and gives her a warm hug and pats her shoulder and tells her that he get it now why she seemed cold back then and he says everything was well wishes for him so he wont be mad at her anymore . Jieun watches them with a satisfing feelings , mrs kim Answers jieun by saying that Her mother had once come looking for her but the adress she had were no longer Jieun and her family were staying ,it was back 8 years ago , jieuns mother even came to ask mrs kim about moonyeong (jieun's mother who adopted her ) but mrs kim too had no idea about where she lived ,so her mother meijin left her house with a disappointing feelings on loosing her child .

Mrs kim continues by saying that She now has a husband and a daughter four years older then jieun and she is not her real daughter but her husbands daughter who she is looking after dearly. mrs kim also continues saying that She doesnt know about where she is right now But Mrs kim insists that she wants to help her find her mother and that time

Marks calls out jieun's name smilingly who is sitting in the next table so mrs kim asks him if he was there the whole time and heard what they were talking about , he shooks his head to yes and he goes near to jieun and responds them what if i say ill help?

will you agree to let me help you ? he says this as he turns to jieun and gives his innocent face . jieun went speechless but agrees to let him help her .Mrs kim request jieun to Stay with her till she finds her mother she declines but she keep on telling her so she lastly gives up and agrees to it which make mr kim to give a dissatisfaction expression.
