Shin sat, waiting for the woman to explain the quest In detail, which she did, saying "in this orphanage, we house many children, however we have one problem child, who never listens or does what he's supposed to do, please help him realise how he should act around other people, please, teach him respect so he gets adopted and not kicked out in the streets once he's 15"

The other people working there stopped listening as they already knew who she was talking about, and honestly they didn't think that Shin could help at all, they hoped that he could, but when they thought realistically they knew that it was merely a fools dream to trust in that hope

Shin nodded while listening to her, thinking that this would be easy, after all it was just making a child more obedient, how hard could it be?

She went up and left the room, with Shin following her, then opened the big door in the middle and entered, Shin behind her, he looked around the room and noticed that there were small children looking at him curiously, then without hesitation, all but one of them ran up to him and hugged him

He was surprised and because the children didn't have any malicious intent so his instincts didn't kick in, making him fall as the 99 children laid on him or on each other, and although Shin tried to push them off, some force stopped him, making his strength lower so he didn't hurt the children

"Everyone get off him" the woman told them sternly, making them all answer "yes miss Rinn" and they all got off him, while struggling a bit to do so as they tried to get off from under another child, but eventually all but one got off, and Shin moved the sleeping cold off him gently, after realising that the reason because he couldn't before was because something was making him weak if he used to much force

The other children looked at him while the child he pushed off was asleep somehow "I'm sorry for that, please forg-" Rinn was saying but got cut off by Shin who said "it's fine, I don't care", but the worried maid asked "are you sure, you might be hurt, or y-" but was once again cute off by Shin when he looked at her with an uncaring look showing that he truly gave no fucks for what happened, and she just decided to let it go since if Shin didn't mind, then it would be fine, but she still needed to give some punishment to the kids, so they wouldn't do what they did again

Meanwhile, while Rinn was in her thoughts, Shin looked at the one child who didn't jump on him, which unlike the 7 years old or younger children there where, he was the only 10 years old, with blue hair and a scar on his cheek, but other than that and the mistrust Shin felt directed to him, he was outwardly normal, but Shin felt something off about him, but in the end decided to ignore it, as it wasn't that important

Shin stood up and walked to the child, his black hair which had white highlights that appeared right before he knocked on the door, and asked him a question "what's your name" to which the blue haired kid answered, with an annoyed tone "and why should I tell you?" 

"Alright then" Shin responded, not caring about how disrespectful the child was being, but also unintentionally annoying the child with how uncaring he sounded

"Well, why are you here" the cold asked, but got no response, so he decided to walk away, but whole house was doing that Shin looked at Rinn as if he's about to say something but she nodded before a sound came out, but Shin just accepted it and started to follow the child

The child immediately noticed and glared at Shin, but the Good ignored the glare, trying to identify what he was feeling from the child, but even using magic sensing he couldn't tell what it was, almost as if a veil was protecting it

Shin's curiosity peaked, as he looked at the child, thinking back to what he talked with about Rinn he said "Your name is Shiro?" Making the child look at him again slightly pissed off, and unlike other times Shin recognised that look and thought "what got you to be this mad?" 

Shiro couldn't take being around Shin anymore so he went to his room and locked the door, not allowing Shin, but to his surprise Shin was faster and was already inside "what do you want from me" the kid asked angrily, and got more angered when he heard Shin's response of "I'm curious"

"Find someone else to entertain you" the child said, turning away and walking somewhere else, unlocking the door and leaving his bedroom, but Shin kept following him, no matter where in the orphanage he went, except for the bathroom but Shin kept waiting outside and Shiro couldn't keep waiting in there, so once he left he gave up and shouted "fine, I give up, follow me" and was about to continue with another word but he saw Rinn's face and decided to not continue

Shin was confused, after all Shiro spent so much time trying to avoid him but now he was trying so hard to a avoid him earlier, and looking at the time they spent 5 hours in total "people are weird" Shin thought, questioning what made them like this, since normally if you want to run you run, if you don't you don't, but there's no point in doing something then giving up halfway "but that's what makes them interesting, unpredictability" Sun continued thinking, and was about to talk when he heard a rumbling sound

"Huh, guess it's been a while since I've eaten" Shin said, Rinn quickly told him "I'll make you something" but was shot down bye Shin who said "I'll try to cook food myself" and with the he picked Shiro up and walked to the kitchen, following Rinn, much to the child's disapproval
