It was beautiful, not in the traditional sense of having immense strength or looking amazing, but in the scene itself, it was still dying that didn't change. There were chunks of light that were dissipating into nothingness and the planet is still in the process of dying out along with the biosphere some time or later.

It is so different from any other planet that formed the Diamonds, not in the resources but in the feeling it gave in death. When I was born the planet died in grievous unwillingness, Yellow's died in anger and hate of its spawn that caused its death, Blue's died in sadness and disappointment of its life cut short, and White I have no idea and most likely never will.

However, Pink's planet was… at peace. It gave off a sense of knowing and a kindness towards Pink, the cause of its death. It wasn't the kind of knowing that a Jedi had when it died and became part of the force, or an old person accepting its death. It was a naive kind of knowing, like a trust that it will live on in Pink.

It was happy and excited for her to live and grow like it never could have, is it because the planet is young? It doesn't know the pleasure of life so it doesn't mind death? I want to ask why, but it's taking all my power just to witness it. With myself as an exception I guess that this is what caused the Diamond family to form their personalities.

Anger made Yellow headstrong and military like, love and peace made Pink a bundle of joy and light, while sadness and pain made Blue emotional and a crybaby. Obviously, there's more to them but that is a basic summary.

I'll just keep this as a penny for a thought and bring myself back to the present as I walk to the platform. As the bubble forms around us I look at Pink who is currently sitting on my shoulder and bouncing around with her hands holding her chin with a wry smile. As if sensing my look she met my eyes and started blushing but didn't look away. I brought my finger to her head and started patting her while Pink just closed her eyes and let it happen.

We stayed like this until the Bubble popped and we moved to our previous positions with the addition of Pink on my shoulder. We all just stood there in silence together as we watched the stars pass in warp with wonder in our eyes while White piloted the ship.

After nearly half an hour of warping we reached Homeworld. I could see the excitement in everyone's eyes as they saw the fabled Homeworld still intact. Pink jumped from my shoulder and floated to the window and stuck to it as we lowered to the torso ship's dock.

After we finished landing White came off the podium and we all came together to discuss the next step as White spoke.

"Now than sisters seeing as we're here I'll give you a month to acquaint yourself with the new environment. I have set up the necessary facilities and ask me or Black if you need anything. Speaking of Black I also sent some material to your room that you may find helpful for the future of Homeworld."

I'll check on that later for now the rest of the Diamond seem to be eager to get some time to explore Homeworld. As for me I'll use my last ten days training some more and probably meet with the rest of the Diamonds. Speaking of that I spoke.

"I'll meet the rest of you in a week to see how you're doing and maybe we can spend time together."

Now that actually seemed to get them excited and I could almost see a light in Pink's eyes, is it determination? White then sent the rest of them away in Bubbles before she turned to me.

"Listen Black, I know this is a momentous occasion for us and Homeworld." She put her hand on my shoulder.

"But we must prepare for the future and your month's period is almost over. I would like for you to prepare to learn and grow in ways that would help our empire. Nothing big will be happening too soon, but preparations must be made."

Almost forgot we are the Steven Universe equivalent of 'The Empire' but.. more advanced? Technology wise we beat them by a landslide, as a species we are not limited by food, exhaustion, or even time needed to train, and we can survive in any environment. Star wars should fear us.

I can weeb later for now I respond to White.

"I understand White that was always going to be the plan." I want to see existence after all. "Thank you for giving me the material to do so, also can I get all the data we have currently?"

White's passive smile grew bigger as she spoke. "I always knew that you were capable Black and the data you asked for already belongs to you. I'll send it to your room."

I thanked her and as she was about to Bubble me to my room I stopped her.

"White wait. I'd rather walk to it myself."

"Why?" She asks.

"I just want to see Homeworld while I walk and this will also let my presence be known."

White thought about it for a moment before she nodded her head and created a platform for me to get out of the ship. Before I stepped on the platform I quickly created my cloaking that swept up my hair into the shadow shocking White, as she asked what it was I answered.

"It's a form of cloaking I made since I would be distracting the Gems from their daily activities."

"While that may be true there is no need for that."

"It's okay White I'm fine with it and I will dispel it whenever I'm with you or certain Gems."

"Well..ok. It isn't too exhausting is it?"

"It's fine, I can keep this up for centuries."

"So long as you don't mind it then it's fine."

Seeing White give her understanding I step onto the platform and wait as the bubble pops and I see Homeworld for the first time. It had a sleek futuristic look and the buildings around me were shades of white and gained new colours as they went in certain directions. I guess as they go closer to Diamond bases the colour scheme changes to the appropriate Diamond. Good thing I memorized the layout I had Pearl get.

I then made my way to the darker part of Homeworld and looked around the platform as I did so. There aren't as many holes and injectors as there were in the show so I guess White waited for us to design our Gems before she got working. I passed by a few colourful Gems as I got closer to my base.

They were startled by the walking shadow in clothes at first, but seeing the black diamond just above my chest they quickly went to the side and gave a diamond salute before saying.

"My Diamond."

This scene repeated a few times until I got to my door and opened it and saw Pearl working at a normal gem sized computer. She noticed my presence and quickly dropped her work before she came up to me and did a diamond salute with a big smile on her face.

As the door closed behind me I dropped my cloaking and I greeted Pearl as my hair fell to my sides and said.

"Hello Pearl you miss me?" I ask in a sly grin.

"Yes my Diamond, your presence was dearly missed." She spoke in a happy tone.

"Noted, anyway is the data White sent here?"

"Yes my Diamond, I was preparing it just now shall I bring it up?"

I asked the pebbles to bring up my throne and I sat on it.

"Yes please do."

Pearl complied and as a screen appeared in front of me Pearl asked.

"How were your siblings my Diamond?" She asked a question, that's a step.

"Adorable. We'll be meeting them a week from now, it should be quite fun."

"That's wonderful!"

After that I dove into my work and practice until one week had passed.
