Qiang and Ming, two orphans were passing by when they heard faint screams coming from a nearby shack. " Did you hear anything? " Said Qiang, " No I think it was just a mice " replied Ming.

At this time the rain has already stopped falling and it started drizzling, so the children were able to hear the faint sound coming from the shack, but Qiang was in doubt because who could possibly be giving birth in the rain.

Sooner enough they were in the shack and they were surprised to see a woman and her crying infant. The woman was on the verge of death. Xiaoke struggled and said " his name is gang (meaning "strong" in Chinese), protect him and keep him away from his father at all cost" with that said she gave up the ghost.

There was a loud roar of thunder followed by a strike of lightening which scared the wits out of the shivering children. Ming and Qiang were confused because they neither knew the nor the baby's father.

Before they could decide on what to do they heard sound of horses that means warriors are approaching.

Qiang was the eldest among them, immediately he took the baby, wrapped him in his clothes and ran into a nearby tunnel holding his sister's hand they silently waited. Suddenly they heard noises coming from the shack, it was the commander speaking. " Hmm... Guess she has given birth already, and she's dead die to lack of blood" said chengyu as he thrust his sword into xiaoke's chest, making her vomit a mouthful of blood. Pointing his finger to the warriors " you " he said, " gather your warriors and bring the child dead or alive ". " And as for you " he said, " gather your warriors and bring the child dead or alive. " And as for you " he said with an expressionless voice pointing to another warrior " take xiaoke's body to the council ".

Qiang and Ming watched as they wrapped xiaoke in a damp white cloth and the horses which they were on suddenly galloped till they were no signs of them leaving Qiang and Ming mouth wide open.

Before Chengyu left, he perceived the presence of a human flew past his nose. He then took few steps towards the tunnel, unfortunate they was nobody there. But he was sure someone has been eaves dropping on their conversation. With that feeling he left with his horse flying into the grey sky.
