Time cant keep up with me

Gasp!!!

"So all this was just a dream?" Said Ming. Right now she was fully awake and she felt a cold chill down her spine, rejuvenating through her body.

When she looked at her wrist, she found an imprint, the same that was written on the katana.

It was emitting an ominous red and Golden light. Ming quickly tore a white piece of cloth and wrapped her arm down to her wrist to cover up the imprint.

Good morning Grandpa Tanjiro, good morning brother Qiang, greeted Ming as she cupped her fists together.

"Hmm... Something seems a little off about her today, her Aura and perceptivity seems to have increased tremendously" whispered Qiang to Grandpa Tanjiro. "Where's Gang?" Asked Ming in an alarming tone all of a sudden.

Qiang quickly turned around and found empty sheet of clothes which he had used to wrap Gang earlier this morning due to the the cold of the forest.

With hollow eyes he was dumbfounded at the moment as he managed to speak, "could...could he have sneaked past us? No that's not possible, the four of us were standing right here and there's no possible way he could have creeped out under our noses" stuttered Qiang.

They immediately started searching for Gang. Even Grandpa Tanjiro was as well surprised, how could a two year old child could possibly have done that? Besides this child was a big mystery to him.

They searched for him in every book and cranny of the cottage untill they got tired. They started having mixed thoughts "Has he being kidnapped? Has he gotten himself into any kind of trouble?" These were the thoughts that was running through their head.

Sooner enough, they were standing below the basement, the only place they haven't checked.

The basement/Grandpa Tanjiro's library is the only place he can access. It has a price and it's one and only option was that one has to infuse a lot of his/her Qi energy into the doors of the library.

If a low tier mortal tried to open it, he/she would die due to a lot of strain on their yin and yang meridian channel by which Qi passes through it.

Suddenly Ming's wrist began to glow right through the cloth she has used to wrap her arm. Immediately she found out she quickly hid her hand behind her back in order to avoid questions, this was not the perfect time to tell them.

She quickly increased her sense of awareness and connected her her self to her surroundings, making her hear every slight noise or movement.

Ming then took the risk and touched the door of the library, connecting her meridian channels to it.

"What the hell are you doing" said Grandpa Tanjiro stupefied. "You've not yet attained that level of cultivation, and you know if that doesn't work it will destroy your yin and yang meridian channels and leave your body in shackles without a dream of ever practicing martial arts again" said Qiang while shouting on top of his voice.

Ming didn't mind what they were saying. It was as if she was in a trance state, like a void mode. Ming started hearing fast flipping of books and she could feel a strong Aura emitting from the library. "What's this kid up to?" she thought.

Immediately, BOOM!!!....

The door blew open because of the large and strong amount of Qi energy surging through it. Beads of sweat started dropping from Ming's head.

Thirty minutes ago...

Gang was sitting cross legged and reading books after books. If a normal human were to try looking at his hands the way they were moving, they would only see an aftermath of his shadow and that's a blur.

They were over twenty shelves that is ten foot tall in the library and currently he was on the fifteenth shelf. His reading speed has increased and he just had to glance at the page before he's done reading it.

"At this rate, I will be done in the next five minutes" thought Gang. Immediately he started using both hands, Sparks of lightening started flying out of his wrist and it seemed as if time stopped. This happened because even time couldn't keep up with him.

Within the next few ten seconds he was done reading the remaining books in the last five shelves.

This was something that even though Grandpa Tanjiro reached the peak of the last stage of cultivation, The Qi dissolving stage, he would barely do it and now a kid who hasn't started cultivating was already doing it with ease. At that moment the basement door blew open...
