Chapter５０

I walked back all over from the ceremony to home. On the way, many people came looking at my beautiful sparkling dress. Some of them ignored me while others approached me with an intention to give me a lift. But I wasn't in a mood to entertain any of them. My heart was being pierced with millions of pieces as I left Vampire behind.

So many times, I wondered if I rushed back to that lake would I still see Vampire standing there, waiting for me just like before? Then I would shake my head as if I had gone mad.

I had already decided to give up on Vampire, but why could I still not get him out of my head? I still wanted to be around him, see his face, talk to him, wait for his messages just like before. It seemed as if my heart wasn't ready to give up on him.

And with these thoughts, I entered the home only to see my husband standing in the kitchen with an apron around his waist.
